PoliticsRe: PDP Northern Caucus Picks Iyorchia Ayu As Consensus Candidate by AntonVince: 5:56pm On Oct 14, 2021
SonofDevil:
They will have their finger burnt.
They swim against the tide in 2015? Got smashed
2023 they will swim against the tide again they will get crushed.

Sentiments for southern presidency is so strong that it refuses to go away.pdp greed for power will turn them against populace.
Mind you the narrative of a southern candidate can't beat a northern candidate in election is false.
Southern candidates have defeated northern candidates more
Tinubu is not, has never been and shall never be deemed a Southern candidate.

A Tinubu presidency will ensure that a Muslim rules Nigeria for 24 straight years.

Would Muslims take such from Christians?

and which northern candidate will defeat tinubu?
Who exactly will vote this Tinubu?
I mean where exactly does he intend to fetch the votes required to get him to Aso Rock.

So far, it seems to me that his only strategy is to *ss-lick Buhari perpetually with the hope of being rigged to power in return for his servitude but even that is bound to fail because I don't see this parochial-minded Buhari supporting him against one of kinsmen who's likely to emerge tbe PDP's candidate.

SWAGA is just a temporary arrangement for consultations and to mobilize a United south west support for Tinubu. Once the regional support is achieved, it would be disbanded for a national campaign arrangement.

socialmediaman:
Tinubu would’ve been a strong candidate if he didn’t partake in the insecurity, poverty, unemployment, ethnic and religious divisions, economic recession and all the calamities that befall Nigeria since 2015.

Because of selfish interest, a former democrat foisted a despot on the same country he fought despots for democracy. He could’ve been forgiven for the 2015 alliance because nobody could predict Buhari’s posturing at that point, but it’s very clear he doubled down so that he could have a chance in 2023. It’s called selfish ambition, nothing here shows love for country.

Brilliant, just brilliant!
Comment of the day.

As far as Tinubu is concerned, Nigeria can burn to ashes while people die of hunger as long as achieves his vaulting ambition of becoming president.

That Nigerians are being cajoled into watching some fictitious achievements on TV is in itself a proof of Buhari's grand failure.

PoliticsRe: 2023 Presidency: Arewa Youths Tell Akeredolu To Mind His Utterances by AntonVince: 1:12pm On Sep 27, 2021
franchasng:
All is fair in war and politics, that's what our Southwest presumed political masters have taught us.

Southwest betrayed Southern interest in 2015 when we had a Southsouth man in the person of Goodluck and Southwest went and aligned with the North for solely Yoruba interest and Tinubu's political greed.

So there is nothing bad if Igbos decide to bury their Presidential ambition in 2023 and allow PDP the so called Igbo party to give their ticket to a Northern candidate in order to grab a VP slot or have some kind of central control that Southwest have been enjoying under Terrorist Buhari.

The only reason North fear Igbos is division of Nigeria via Biafra which IPOB have intensified, so it would be unwise for PDP to zone the Presidential ticket to Southeast if APC zone theirs to Southwest, of course APC will win in that scenario, not because of the candidate Southwest will field but because the Northern masses will feel more at ease to vote in a Yoruba man who once joined hands with them to fight Igbos to keep Nigeria as one. And again because APC already controls the Federal government and its mercenaries for election, and Yoruba also have the incumbent Vice President, so it will be easy for a Yoruba candidate under APC to win an Igbo candidate under PDP.

with this political reasoning, it will be more politically beneficial for Igbo to allow PDP zone its ticket to the North if APC zones theirs to Southwest. This is the only way PDP can have a shot at the Presidency once again because Northerners will prefer to vote a fellow Northerner in PDP, and of course majority of SE and SS will cast their vote for whoever PDP fields to spite Terrorist Buhari and his wickedness to the SE cum SS.

The only way Southern Nigeria can comfortably grab power from the North in 2023 is for Yorubas to bury their 2023 Presidential ambition for Igbos in the interest of fairness, equity and Southern unity.

But if Yorubas continue to sing this their song of Igbos are politically foolish, Igbos are talking nonsense they should go to PDP where they sowed and reap, Igbos have no popular candidate to present, Igbos are this and that, then Igbos will have no other option than to sit down and look the other way as PDP picks a Northern candidate.

2023 will shape Nigeria positively or negatively, we de watch, God keep us alive.

I just hope all the Southerns in PDP will know that once they give the North an opportunity to distort the unwritten rotation arrangement, that's is the end of Southern states opportunity to fight for fairness. Tinubu is too lenient to carry out the required changes in Yoruba land..... We need a very conservative Yoruba that is what Buhari is to the north, remove all non Yoruba political office holder and replace with full blooded Yorubas, re strategise indigeneship, non Yoruba can only acquire properties through lease not buying........regulations of non Yoruba moving into yoruba land and the best one is regional government for the Yorubas by the Yorubas extremely to the advantage of yoruba people only.

Yoruba accommodation is not good thing, you are shortaging your coming children freedom... Look at what we are dealing with as a result of our fathers accommodation? Our land called no man's land.

Yoruba not being wicked is not a good thing also, look at fulani, people fear they are wicked, Yoruba what has your meekness got you? Ridicule to Kings and land.

Better sit right Yoruba, there is no gain in being Liberal.
Ogbeni, rid your mind of this nonsense.
There are more Yorubas working at NLNG, Shell and Chevron than the Niger-Deltans who own the Oil and Gas resources.

As I was driving to Portharcourt Airport this morning, I saw these herdsmen allowing their cows to openly graze in the area.
This is of great concern since Rivers state government recently passed a law banning open glazing. Please can someone ensure that Wike get to know about this development. The community may react and attack the herdsmen. So Wike needs to protect the cattle, herdsmen and farmers. It may also be possible that the herdsmen needs to be sensitised about the new law.

Lala please move this post to the front page. Thanks.
Trust me, some of those herders, armed with their transistor radios are better informed about news, events and happenings around the country than some of us are - especially information that directly affects their business but the problem is Buharis's open support for them has emboldened them so much that they deem themselves above any law.

Only a very senseless dunce would agree to mandating INEC ADHOCS staff to only send results of an election through GSM network

50% of voters reside in a place without electricity or GSM network

After counting the vote instead of filling the ECA form and showing it to everyone including party agents that can snap it as proof, the new law simply wants the Ad-hoc staff to press the figure he or she likes and transmit
You've got to earn your pay...we understand that.
