kingxsamz:Friend, you should know my answer: yes. But in your contexts so far, God cannot be fooled. Like one imagining that as "oh, so if I feel I'm about to die, I'd just say a quick sinners prayer and that's it: boom into heaven". IT'S Thrash! God is not fooled, friend. God already sees that selfish calculations, it would even be difficult to be sincere at that point. True Repentance is something deep, full of regrets and remorse about sin. Please, see what happen to Esau: Heb.12.16 - lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. Heb.12.17 - For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found NO PLACE for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears. People quote the "good" thief Jesus saved in the last minute, when they themselves are currently following the unrepentant thief that lost the last opportunity the good had... Conclusion: Repentance is not cheap: it's not just words, repeating something like a magic formula after a preacher. Many have repeated it several times over, and still not changed. No time, if not I would've written a little about my own Repentance experience. It was the hard way, as Common, I love(d) my Self, Ego, Pride and the World deeply. God bless |
kingxsamz:Friend, can't you see how you've analyzed things as if you've been in charge before. The thing is Faith and Obedience. You're right, even the least bit of sin is serious, and the worst sinner may get saved. That doesn't mean death bed Repentance is reliable: We cannot fool God. But God knows how to save the Righteous: 2Pet.2.9 - then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, Peace... |
kingxsamz:Yeah friend, I understand you perfectly: I was once in your shoes. It will be illogical to you till you come to the light by grace: hopefully. See what God has to say: 1Cor.2.14 - But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. No one is perfect, but a true christian must be in the Fight against all sin, selfishness and worldliness. When I got converted I had to let go of my lying habit by grace; as for worldly songs, I had to get rid of my desires for them. Including my breakdance I used to do well, which made me quite popular in secondary school. The trouble is the coming wrath of God, Jesus is coming back for judgment, not mercy Again. Hence, the need to Repent. Jesus got me the hard way (got sick and almost Died). My love for videogames, rap and hip-hop music, sexual immoralities, etc couldn't make me respond to God. Now is the time to Humble ourselves and Turn totally to God. Peace. |
Being religious doesn't stop one, even a religious christian from sexual temptations. It's easier to look religious than to overcome sexual sins: remember the former part of Samson. In fact, some of them might be more bound than nonreligious people. Some religious people are bound to internet porn secretly. I was quite bound by some sexual immoralities myself so I know how terrible it is, fighting even after getting converted. What can help such people is the fear of God, Repentance and to fight it with all of one's heart by Faith. Apparently, lots of professing christians, including pastors indulge in watching porn, and they even practice it with their wives or other women. To overcome, one needs God's help: grace, that's if one is willing to Repent, seek help from Him in prayer and obey Jesus. God bless |

doggedfighter:All right Sis.... Your choice. Although, I wish you have a second thought soon. If you knew my past, you might be tempted to have a second thought... Ok... Take care. |
doggedfighter:Hmmm... Sis. it's no joke, please. But you know, I understand: I was once in your shoes. Hence, there's still hope... Peace... |
Many christians live under the old covenant, that's why they swallow up whatever their old covenant preachers tell them. They end up doing against Christ: antichrist or opposite of Christ (in other words). Tell them Jesus wouldn't do that, no, they would say, "but Baba or My pastor or Our G.O said..." Hence, they literally worship religious men in reality, not God. That's one of the several reasons I stopped going to common organized churches or denominations, including strong Holiness preaching ones. And they hardly obey The Spirit of this Word of Jesus: AMP- Matt.23.9 - And do not call anyone [in the church] on earth father, for you have ONE Father, Who is in heaven. Alas, it's all Baba this, Baba that: evangelist, pastor, reverend, g.o, prophetess, bishop So and so. For reality, we got to Humble ourselves, Repent of all Known sins, put those men of God (or gods) on one side; pray and read the scriptures like the Berean christians did (acts 17:11). Just the way they dealt with Paul and other apostles... Thankfully, they were not the "BABA Paul or G.O Peter" type. It's time to awake from our deep spiritual sleep or blindness rooted in the churches of men. May Jesus bless you. |

Kobojunkie:I see... We surely don't see things alike. No Problem. All right... Goodbye. |
Well, it's not enough for me to decide based on much Opinions from people. So, to be on the safer side, I'd like to just stick to God's word and guidance. Jesus and Paul, a great apostles of his, made it quite clear that it's better to stay single especially for the sake of God's kingdom (see 19:9-12 and 1 Cor. 7 whole chapter); yet if a person marries is not a Sin. Hence, for true believers, it's not very difficult to understand. For me, it's about godliness. I'm seeking to work on myself to be the Kind of man I should be, so as to be worthy of the kind of the woman that's right. I don't mean one should be necessarily hunting for virgins, but a CHRISTLIKE woman (not perfect, but Christlike). Not all virgins are christlike. A woman may not be a virgin but changed at heart which is terribly more important. What's the use of being a virgin but miserable or demonic in heart. I say this because one should be changed too by grace. If that won't work out, then one might as well consider forgetting marriage too. Because anything apart from that will be a proper disaster for me. The kinds of unions that I find rather Interesting now are like that of Abraham and Sarah, or Joseph and Mary; not the contemporary, Nollywood-themed type as I would imagine before. 1Cor.7.38 - So the person who marries does well, and the person who doesn't marry does even better. God bless... |

Hmmm... Sounds interesting. |
Jackandrose:If it's not natural or genetic, the causes are likely one or some of the following: "anxieties, worries, fears, nervousness"; "anger or outburst of anger or rage", agitation or tension; poor sleep-life, impatience... First, don't be ashamed to Humble yourself now and submit to God totally and start trusting in Him in all things. Otherwise, fear we get the best part you: whether or not you see a doctor. Two of the worst things are meeting a greedy or young or immature doctor who may end up adding more to the problem consciously or unconsciously just by talking or counseling you; also about you doing nothing to help (not submitting totally to God). And it's common for drugs to have serious side effects... I've had major life threatening issues myself, so I'd encourage seeking God to Overcome fears and other unpredictable troubles; and especially to Overcome Sins by God's Power, because the wages of sin is eternal death in hell. Be Strong and Wise, please... The worst in one's life is death, but once you submit to Jesus, obey Him, then he's got the Key and you just relax; sleep like a baby. Nothing can kill you before His time. May Jesus bless you |

Gen.7.1 - Finally, the day came when the LORD said to Noah, "Go into the boat with all your family, for among all the people of the earth, I consider you alone to be righteous. |
anu3:I think there's an economic squeeze on information about my post so far... I wonder if it's really very important. From my findings, it seems many just ignore the process in any case, or they possibly use some blackhat method(s) to make up. I heard it's as low as 25k in some places, while it could be as high as 150, 250 or 500k elsewhere... Peace... |
You need something good to do, friend. Betting or helping others to do such is not good. |
Hello... Please, does anyone know the cost of registration with the ministry of education in Ekiti and osun state? Thanks. |
John.15.6 - If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned (*hellfire). God bless |
Gen.2.16 - But the LORD God gave him this warning: "You may freely eat any fruit in the garden Gen.2.17 - except fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat of its fruit, you will surely die." Rom.8.13 - For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; BUT if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, |
MicrosoftExcel:To seek and Surrender to Jesus is sure Key... |
chatinent:At least, now you can never that. He did a great work! He's encouraged and taught you how to learn things in general, and not lag behind others. Especially when you're particularly showing signs of laziness. God bless |
Rom.14.4 - Who are you to judge another's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand. Rom.14.5 - One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind. Col.2.16 - Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. |
Luke.16.15 - And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

Goodlyhrt:Friend, I doubt if you'd like to hear this, but he's got a point. As the last born I hate the way I was brought up and I used to think it's cool in my younger days till I approached adulthood. So, I had to start fighting the weaknesses, foolishness, tiredness and laziness I grew up with as a real battle: and with God's help, infact. The Op's story is even worse because all the children are getting built up like that. Grace... |
Actually, the gospel of Jesus is contained in TWO things: Grace and Truth (John 1:14,17): while the message of grace maybe very peaceful or cool to hear, but the truth can sometimes come as a rude shock and very disturbing. Listen to Jesus Himself: Mark.9.47 - And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be THROWN INTO HELL, Mark.9.48 - where "'their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.' Or was Jesus being "unchristlike" when he said: Matt.10.34 - "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, BUT A SWORD. Matt.10.35 - For I have come to turn "'a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law-- Matt.10.36 - a man's enemies will be the members of his own household.' Finally, see what happened after some followers of Jesus listened to Him: John.6.66 - From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him. Which pops the question: John.6.67 - "You do not want to leave too, do you?" Jesus asked the Twelve (and from us too). John.6.68 - Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. May we get grace to answer wisely, correctly and strongly like Peter. Grace.. |
author=ebukajay184 post=108651463]Popular Nigerian actor, Williams Uchemba has spoken against false prophets who use fear and condemnation to preach the gospel of Christ, IgbereTV reports.Yeah... Something might be wrong if it's really from a false preacher; however, the real gospel from a true servant of God can be sometimes terribly scary too.
