Pets › I Need Accommodation For My Dogs by anukulapo(op): 11:13am On Aug 31, 2018 |
Hello breeders,
I need a favour. I'll be leaving town for few days (6) and I need someone to accommodate my dogs (2 female adult dogs).
I can't afford to keep them at the boarding facility as I am not boxed up enough.
Any Abuja based breeder kind enough to help, please let me know.
Thanks. |

afroniger: Maybe polygamy will solve all this. If men are allowed to marry more than one woman without any social stigma attached, the problem is solved because then another fertile and willing woman will have the kids that the other one refuses to have for whatever reason. Problem solved. Let us be real, some men want lots of kids and shouldn't be made to feel guilty for that, especially if they can afford to take care of as many as they desire. You got it right. Polygamy is actually the solution to the issue. Na social effect kill am. However, it's not an issue of another woman refusing to have more kid (s) for whatever reason, it's for her good. If men have to risk their lives like women do while ejaculation just to have kids, many men would understand the risk. |

Education › Re: Girl Child Education: Key To Development by anukulapo: 9:09pm On Jul 30, 2018 |
womenabuse: Educate a boy, you educate an individual. Educate a girl you educate the entire family. You have been miseducated by biased minds. This maxim only makes sense when applied to one side of the "equation". How equal can it be then? womenabuse: Without girl- child education, the world would be completely dysfunction in every aspect. Let us give the girl child chance to show her intellectual capability. Girl child education is the key to economic development. The bolded just rubbished the advocacy for education for girls, and by extension, education for all. womenabuse: When a girl child is prevented from going to school, their rights would be violated, rights to health, education and opportunity. It exposes the girls to violence throughout their lives and traps them in a cycle of poverty.
An educated girl has the self- confidence and necessary skill to comprehend the need to be a better daughter, sister, wife, and mother and make a progressive family. Girls are more vulnerable, we all need to care. Education will indeed help to set them above the snare of dysfunctional societies. womenabuse: Education is very important whether a boy or a girl. Education is one of the most critical areas of empowerment for women. Send a girl - child to school is one sure way of giving them much needed power of enabling them to contribute to the development of society. So, you finally contradicted your earlier assertion. The bolded should be the foundation for your campaign, then you can advocacy that girls should not be left behind. Ever heard of "do no harm" principle? The contrary is what most gender "champions" do; especially the female gender advocates. Boy child education is a big problem in some parts of this country, even the north still have them boys on the streets with plates ... even in the FCT (it has gotten that bad). womenabuse: The dividend for educational investment is often higher for girl than boy. Your opinion, and that of the people funding this idea. Stand and push for EDUCATION FOR ALL (EFA). That's a noble cause. DO no harm. |

Maximus85: This is Africa sir. When you go against the norm. Whatever happens to you, you're on your own. We have values and morals. Parents are failing these days. That's why we have so much madness in the society. Why will a child wear a torn cloth or body revealing cloths in the name of fashion and the parents are there doing nothing. It's just crazy. I understand but that's beside my point. I'm talking permissive gender based violence. |

Maximus85: For whatever reason no man should put his hands on a woman. You meant to say no one should be subjected to extra judicial justice especially when it's not a criminal case... Because the inference would be that a man can be laid hands on. |

HEseesall: The property only is in my name but we built it together Well, if I consider the statement above, you just pointed out that he is a stakeholder. The unfortunate event is what women tries to avoid in marriage but that is what you just did to him. His demanding for it to be changed to his name (in my opinion) is a way of making it clear to you that he's disappointed and "can't" trust you. He's rubbing that in your face. He is intuitive that you won't change it, would rather like alone, rationalizing and justifying his fair and sincere actions (that led to him pulling out his share of the money from the project). His conclusion seems like "for now, I just want to be on my own, away from a woman that I can't trust" If you don't understand the above long talk, rewrite the story and switch roles. - He brought the idea - You both pooled fund for the project - You have to help your ailing dad so you pull out with his "approval" - He used his share to build - You used part of your remaining fund to complete your parent's house - You added fund to complete the said project with him ... - You eventually found out that he did all in his name during a disagreement. 1. How will you feel? 2. What will people, (and if course nairalanders) say about such a man? ************* Jesus said "as a golden rule of life, do unto others, what you'll want them to do to you". In life, whatever you think, think the opposite. It helps your judgement. He'll forgive you if you realize your mistake and he'll let you keep the house. You may have to sell it off eventually it change it to the kids' name. |

Politics › Question About Parties And Primary Elections by anukulapo(op): 1:59pm On Jun 26, 2018 |
Hello knowledgeable NLders,
I was wondering if all parties in Nigeria go the same way of conducting their party primaries by delegate systems OR is there any that does a general election involving all party members?
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of both systems.
I'll really like to know. Especially question 1. Thanks |

As far as the bible is concerned, both Levites and priest are entitled to something I actually thought you'll ask yourself the question, ain't it obvious that it's a rider to my question? aAK1: good question, do pastor preach 24/7. Apart from the fact that the church today is not operating the ordinance of levitical priesthood, if we were, would the priesthood had included pastors and instrumentalists only? Won't in have all church workers which definitely include ushers and ICT, children teachers and co? @aAK1 |

Christianity Etc › Re: Of Church Instrumentalists And Payments by anukulapo: 8:00am On Jun 24, 2018 |
Now the argument could be: If pastors get paid, why shouldn't instrumentalists? As some have argued that that's what they do for a living and some didn't acquire the skill cheaply.
So why ain't those counting monies from offering and tithes being paid too? They are like bank tellers also. It's a profession, accounting skills don't come cheap.
Then the security unit guys also. It's like policing.
Children ministry, educators should even be the highest paid. Some can argue so.
On and on the argument can go.
Why is it a big deal to be a volunteer pastor? Aren't there unpaid pastors? What's the big deal about paying instrumentalists? Why do we have to "fight" for them to be paid and leave the ushers out?
Abeg, Christians should wake up and go and evangelize. All this four walls of so called church administration wahala no be priority of our faith (though if wrongly done, na palava since na there we don "cage" God put). |

Mary would have terminated Jesus's pregnancy if she was a Nigerian Christian.
By the way, church wedding should be abolished because it is not necessary. Court and traditional weddings are far better.
At least they wouldn't ask for wedding and special donations to the church account. Many Nigerian Christian girls no go gree support the scraping... Them don fantacise the white gown effect and the large photo frame that will come out of the event. |
