fingard02k: guy its an error from nairaland. I clicked BOLD botton and the thing appeared like that. No thanks to opera mini..in other words you are a fọọlOh ok, just like how Nairaland Error Enabler converted ur very correctly written grammar to an all time Gbagaun right? U should have just saved ur face in silence instead of coming back to call someone a fool. Nobody called u any names. |
dominique: Kslib, you well so?Ma'm every month is too late. U should wash ur towel every week, white or no white. I consider my towel due for washing as soon as it loses the perfumed smell from the detergent. I do my laundry on friday evenings and every thing goes in, including towels and beddings. If u wash ur towel every month it will smell, u probably might not sense the smell cos u are used to it. |
ReineViolet: I would follow this advice only on one condition: I've got to be 1000% sure I won't be turn down either stylishly or bluntly or I am not told 'I gbadun you too' out of pity.U see Women? So u guys know how very depressing it can be when someone is turned down, then majority of u find pleasure in crassly turning a man down for simply telling u he likes u. And if u have nobody to tell u he likes u, u still are gonna cry over it. May be if more women learn to be more friendly to guys, more guys will have courage to approach them without fear of insults or unfriendliness even is she's not interested. Whether a man or a woman, no one wants to be turned down, at least not in a rude, impolite way. |
fingard02k: ..calabar stadium should be rename calabar stadium should be rename calabar stadium should be rename slaughter groundThis is gbagaun without remorse. U fired not only 1ce but 3ce. |
donmatin: how many of you commenting are presently in osun state?am a Corper here precisely at Iragbiji.stop talking thrash bcus d students were not sent to locations not close to der houses.oke-iragbiji junior secondary is now located at baptist skull iragbiji which is not far from der homes.I walk every day from my house at oke-iragbiji to baptist.why not confirm from those here b4 u start antagonizing Rauf. This statement of urs in bold can not be true in the face of logic and I'd show u how. If a student lives at point A, a distance to the west of Oke Iragbiji sec schl which is situated at Point B and the new location, Baptist Schl is located at a distance to the east of Oke Iragbiji Sec Schl. Let's take that to be Point C. That means, the student who normally travels from Point A to Point B before would have to further make an additional travel to point C before reaching his new school every day. Ur claim just doesn't make any logical sense. U talked as if all students live and depart from ur home everyday. And the main question should be when does student shuffling become a strategy to improve educational standard? Do u improve educational standard of students by unduly unsettling them? Oh that might be the best strategy cos I might have forgotten that APC can never do wrong. Absolute trash!!! And now u are using the case study of one school in Iragbiji to dismiss the reported inconveniences in Oshogbo and other location as if the same is true for every other locations. Since u don't live in Oshogbo, u have no basis to be a part of this convo either. |
geeez, what nonsense IGR are you talking about. Their IGR does this look like the igr have grew. this is lagos schools, if the IGR Gilbert Chagoury is the owner of eko altantic http://www.chagourygroup.com/real-estate/eko-atlantic/ Pls keep in mind that when u write about a past occurrence, the verb must be either in past or past participle form. Here is a very simple rule, anytime you have "have" or "had" and "has" in a sentence, the verb must be in past participle form unless u are using a word whose past participle form is the same as the past form. U might be offended with this and lash back at me but I will accept it as a sacrifice cos I am sure that u will take the correction even if u pretend as if u don't and that is what I want to achieve. |
bakynes: Many Haters of Lagos on this thread (My Eastern brothers sorry). As for those saying this hotel isn't the only 5-star hotel, Nigeria doesn't have any 5-star hotel from International rating nt even Transcorp hIlton Abuja,Sheraton hotel lagos,Orientals hotel lagos, protea hotel lagos,Eko hotels etc. As for the ones in the UK I was priviledge to stay a night in a 5-star hotel called Grovesnor Hotel off Hyde park,London and I most say the service was fantastic u are treated like a king or Queen (seriously). So its nt only abt the edifice, the service matters too. Eko o ni bajeeeeeeeeeeLook dude, the likes of transcorp and sheratons u mentioned are ranked 4 stars. Now if u slept in any of them and then sleep in Grovesnor that u called 5 star and compare the services, U can't measure a significant difference in quality, I just don't agree with u. Hotel star ranking is sometimes ambiguous and even controversial. More like University ranking or FIFA ranking. 1 of 2 hotels of the same quality of service might be ranked higher than the other just because it has bigger building and and overlooks the sea. If hotel ranking is majorly based on quality of service, it will not be difficult for many hotels to achieve 5 star status. That is the fact. |
Wait a minute guys, lets see what they will come up with first before praising the initiative to high heavens. This is a normal news in Nigeria, multi billion this and that deal/contract here and there but at the end of the day, u wont hear anything. This is not about being pessimistic, I am just being real and I can't be fooled. Why not lets wait for may be a year and revisit this project and evaluate how far they have gone. They are claiming to have signed a whooping over a billion dollar contract with a Canadian firm, they claim the firm will inject the money into our Agricultural sector, well we need to see the MoU. This is a firm with no track record, if u can't find their track record on their cheap looking website, then u can't find it anywhere else. This is a firm whose core and only business is claimed to be mineral resource mining. What expertise do they have in agriculture? We are watching with keen interest. Alright, lets leave it at that. |
deols: What has Dapo Lam achieved as sports and youth commissioner. I never heard of anything he did. He should be retained only if he is a performer.OK LET ME SAY THIS! Well in an ideal situation, u are correct of course but in reality of Nigerian politics, u really can not view things this way cos this is not how things happen. The performance or otherwise of a commissioner is primarily dependent on the governor himself. The input of individual commissioner is secondary. As a commissioner, u may have all these ideas, if the mandate of ur ministry is not in line with the priority of the govrnor, u would have to just chill with ur ideas. And seriously, all these governors never have priorities across all ministries, nope!!! During Lam era, it was ministry of works/OYSREB on his rural electrification projects. That was his priority. In Ladoja era, it was mainly ministry of Education and a little spark on Ministry of Agric on his primary/secondary school reform/Agric reform. During Akala era, it was mainly Ministry of works, ministry of health on his priority on roads and his hospital projects. In this Ajimobi regime, its been Ministry of works, Ministry of Environment on his city edification and beautification projects (the so called flower planting). That's his own priority. So in case of Dapo, u can take a look at Ajimobi, does he look like he likes sport? How many times has he referenced sport in his speeches or plans as a means of engaging the youth or even generating revenue? Do u think Dapo a mere commissioner can get anything done by himself if his governor's interest is on beautification? Dapo just like many of his of other commissioner colleagues would just have to chill or get knocked out. (Well, what am I saying? there has just been a mass knockout). So the question is in such situation, what would all other several commissioners be doing? Well, they will continue to lobby the governor to take a look at their ideas and proposal and if he believes in it, they might have it but if he doesn't, nothing for them, some of them can just grapple with some petty projects in their ministries and that's all. And if u pressure the governor too much on this idea of urs, u might risk provoking him until he freaks out and sacks u. Very few commissioners will be willing to be sacked just like that, they'd prefer to take a chill pill and at least enjoy the paraphernalia of office until the governor is either ready to fund their project or never. There are also situations where governors put projects that ought to have been executed by commissioners in charge of various special advisers. And do u know what that means? It means keeping the projects within the governors office. That will enable the governor to keep such projects as close to himself as much as possible. In this case, what do u expect the commissioners to do? This is how things happen these days, u must be a commissioner with a very strong influence on the governor's cabinet to have a serious project in ur charge in ur ministry, most especially if u have a governor that likes to keep a lot of stuffs to himself like Ajimobi obviously is. Please note, that I am not taking up for Dapo here, I am not his fan, I am just analyzing things from what I know cos I know it. We all need to understand these dynamics b4 starting to make conclusions. All commissioners can never be irresponsible, non performing at the same time. This must have more to do with a clash between the governor's strategy against some political state of things internal to ACN. So at the end of the day, this sacking is not about us as claimed, its politics. So the politics that actually lead to this is still unknown but we will surely soon find out, trust politicians, they will soon start to talk and by the time various statements are pieced together, we shall know exactly why.. PS: Sorry for the long post, I type very fast and I get carried away |
Texykool: Since, 1999, Ajimobi has been the best Governor Oyo State so far. Personally, I want him for a second term...Back this claim with fact Pls! Many say this but I need fact, I hate to believe a thing just because some ppl are saying it. I would only believe if there are convincing fact on the ground, I mean real fact not just opinion or telling me to work around Ibadan. And if that is all u have to tell me, then I would like u to tell me what significant changes are there so much to see that can qualify him as the best governor so far. And pls I expect intelligent convo, better ignore this post if u don't have ur fact than to resort to name calling. |
legendprac: difference no much like dtPlus I think it is even too late. Imagine all the pictures he has already from the paparazzi at the peak of his reign. Is he now fixing his teeth at a moment when his ovation is fading out? Well good luck to him tho! |
@swagqueen I read thru all u are going thru from ur comments, its sad but u need to take some actions now. 1) U need to start devising a strategy to leave him. Do not deceive urself, the solution to this problem is to leave that man. If u were my sister, u would have left since last year, not even now. Do not lose ur life to an angry man, we read this on news on a regular basis and we would ask where were her family when all the abuse was going on? Pls ur life is more important than any other thing that might be keeping u in his house right now. 2) Ur exit strategy might be long term or short term If u have family member that can help u a bit with shelter and food at least, leave that marriage on a short term but if u have to fend for urself, u can start looking for some financial means and leave as soon as u get it. I mean job. 3) Stop thinking that ur life would be empty without him Oh yea it might seem so in the beginning but u will get over it. 4) Never be bothered that some haters will laugh at u if u leave him. It would be a ridiculous situation if such flimsy reason will lock u down in bondage and pain. I guarantee u, the after stress will only take a few month and every thing will come back to normal. 5) How do u even know that someone that will really love u is not outside there waiting to meet u when u are single again? It is not impossible but u will never meet such person when u are still married to a man that beats u for fun. He is not in love with u hence the reason why he has enslaved u. Do u know the meaning of slavery? A situation where by u reduce someone to the lowest state of existence, u debar him/her access to any form of empowerment or independence, ur husband ensures that u have no freedom so u can be subject to his whims and caprices. He knows that it will be difficult for u to go anywhere if u have nothing. So his decision to prevent u from working was not in good faith. Good luck to u! |
phayvoursky: IS UR BRAIN OVERLOADED OR U LACK UNDERSTANDING?OK dude, I was not rude in anyway to the guy that I referred to in the 1st place, ur attack is just an undue incursion. And what do u gain from being rude? Why not tell us here how running a train on diesel is easier than on electricity? or how running a single track railway is easier than a double track? |
sarutobie: And how does electricity relate to the thread??..are you just inherently dumb? Or wait! You think there isn't electricity in aba? FYI I wake up and go to bed with my A.C on..So u wanna tell me that u can't connect train and electricity? Well, interestingly, electricity can very well relate to the thread cos its about train. Check countries where the rail system is perfectly running and and efficiently managed in a cost effective way and u'd find out that the rail runs on electricity. Look at Europe, u can travel by rail all the way from Russia to Spain powered by electricity. Until we become aggressively ambitious like the developing rest of the world, we will forever be 3RD world with our 3rd world, single track, snail speed, locomotive train that we celebrate. Note: The guy that asked the question might have other reasons or motive but I am responding strictly to ur question in bold. |
The ties will be played between 11-15 October 2013 and 15-19 November 2013. DRAW Ivory Coast v Senegal Ethiopia v Nigeria Tunisia v Cameroon Ghana v Egypt Burkina Faso v Algeria Source: www.fifa.com Some ppl are excited that we are drawn against Ethiopia but they fail to realize that Ethiopia might not have a big name but they have a very good team at the moment. So we need to watch out. What do u think guys? |
Leave them na, make dem dey follow the "oyinbo" way of "trainning a child". A parent MUST learn how to control a childs environment not the other way round. When you give in to their whimps every time they cry or say YES any time they rebel, they begin to think its the normal thing to do. That's why a child overseas can over dose on drugs, shoot people or commit suicide just because things aren't working their way..no proper trainning! When a child grows up with YES parents, what do you expect? Mother: you can't attend a party on a weekday cause you have to be in school early the next day Child: if you don't let me go, I'll slit my wrist Like seriously??! When you no stop am when e b 2yrs, na for 14 yrs you wan stop am? Teach them @an early age that things should be done a certain way before age 4, after which it will be difficult to correct. Train a child (not pamper) the way it should GROW
Pls Tell 'em one more time buddy! |
Ayatullah:Very correct, I have seen ppl talking about all sort of things here like its normal because the kid was just 2 yrs old. Well its not the kid's fault at all, it's the parent's fault. A kid has no reason to misbehave like that in public if not that the parent's condone BS. If u raised ur baby properly, instill discipline in a timely and well calculated way, u wil not have a child that gives u trouble. If u are too lazy to do that, well, deal with whatever problem or embarrassment the kid brings u and if u beat that child out of frustration of being embarrassed in public, u should be jailed for child abuse and for not knowing how to do ur job of raising a kid properly. Some think it is impossible to train a little kid because of the common statement "he/she's just a baby" and that is where the mistake is. The right time to train ur kid is exactly that moment when they are just babies, so when they are 3,4,5 yrs old, they are already tamed kids that wont give u any troubles hence the reason why u'd have no reasons to beat ur kids. But most parents wait till their kids are around 5 and even 7 or thereabout before thinking of trying to instill some discipline and that is a bit late most especially for an instinctively troublesome kid. U might have to be forced to give them some spanking before they could listen but that is not the kid's fault, it's ur fault cos u started too late. |
Alright guys, I have seen different opinions here. All I have to say is that the guys that are of the opinion that studying comp sci is significantly inconsequential to pursuing a career in IT are more accurate in their opinion than the others. I.T is not only about coding and coding, there are alot of other path u can take without actually knowing how to code. Although its always easier if u have "some" coding skills. Even at that, u do not need to go to a university to know how to code. My background is agriculture, then I flipped over to business and then maneuvered to computer programming without prior computer education. Now I am an application integration developer a part of IT where ppl are running away from because its very technical skills demanding. The question is if comp sci or whatever is relevant, why am I able to learn and function in this area? How am I even getting to work on these projects in the 1st place without any degree in computer science? Well answer is, the degrees are irrelevant. No potential client ever asked me did u study comp sci? In fact, my business qualification seem to be more relevant and respected even though the job is about programming. The most important factor that determines whether u will get a programming job in I.T or not is ur ability to show that u have worked on similar project before, in fact, that is all a client wants to see, they dont want to see ur degree cos they know ur degree means nothing they only want to know that u have a sufficiently high level of education. U don't believe me? Go to linkedin right now and start looking at profiles of I.T professionals and look at what they studied in the university, look across guys from Europe and America Now please note that I am not talking from the Nigerian perspective, I don't know whether Nigerian employers place importance on comp sci. However, it is not all that easy to just learn some computer skills and start looking for job, U can only get a job by gaining experience as an intern in an I.T consulting firm. So this will enable u to reference the hands on skills u acquired from the company where u interned when u are applying for a job elsewhere. I hope my contribution would help some that are interested in a career in IT but losing hope cos they are not currently studying comp science. If u have ability to comprehend complex logic , may be u can go for it. If u are one that hates logic and constantly solving technical problems, forget about IT even if u are currently studying computer science, unless ur ambition is to become a functional consultant which is not bad too but u can't earn as much as a technical guy. |
django1: MY GOD!!! I've been wasting my time arguing with a secondary school studentSmart observation, I failed to observe that, I wouldn't have replied her comments. Sometimes nairaland gets unattractive when u realize that u might be chatting with some kids in their teens. |
ngozievergreen: energy consumed by foreign firms nah. What indigenous enterprise are u talking about? I hate to argue along tribal lines but u guys are always pushing one into that direction due to ur ever arrogant, egocentric, self eulogizing mentality. Apart from 2nd hand clothing business and electronic appliances, what more do u sell out of a thousand other businesses that are in Ibadan? And u can not tell me that there are no several indigenes that do the same business that your ppl do. At least before I left Ibadan in the early/mid 2000s, the most popular and successful boutique in Dugbe which was Emerald Emporium was owned by a Yoruba guy (not sure if he is still there). U guys like to believe that u are doing those business because indigenes don't know how to do it. U never appreciate the fact that the indigenes are accomodating enough to allow u to do it without having a problem with it. Do u allow any non Ibo person to run any form of business in Onitsha? Once again, just like someone has told u here, u ppl like to tell urselves anything and believe it. Stop deceiving ureslves. And cut down on that arrogance, I have Ibo friends but they are humble ones and they themselves do not like the typical arrogant ones, they make the Ibos look bad. |
So where is the picture? Somebody here commented that he saw the picture but interestingly he didnt have picture evidence of it. Then what's it with all these Naija wonders? Na only Naija dem dey see stuffs like this, why not in Ghana? Mali? Cameroon or Uganda? Now this is the things we are talking about, some muslims' extreme reverence for a mere clergy. Since they'd been hanging Niyas' pictures in their car and their homes just as if there is a genuine obligation to do so, why would they not hallucinate seeing his pictures on the wall of a mosque? Its exactly the way xtians picture the principal actor in Jesus of Nazareth when they are supposedly spirit filled and talking to Jesus. So muslims too are starting to see Niyas in their dreams... Naija is a Giant Joke of Africa |
Tinyemeka: Umuahia pics: The medical facility at Amakama, GTB PLC opposite FMC and Mecure (another med facility) also along Aba road.Thank u buddy, this is exactly what I was talking about but the OP failed to see the flaws in his own post even after pointing it out to him. U can not just take beautiful pictures of buildings and call it boom, u may call it beautiful sites but BOOM is a different thing entirely. By his logic, that means u can just go to the bankrupt Detroit, take beautiful pictures of the city skyline and say "Wow see how Detroit is booming!" we can agree that the skyline is beautiful but it doesn't mean Boom when the beautiful buildings are virtually empty. BOOM means jobs and more jobs for ppl and as a result influx of population and expansion of infrastructures thgat cater for the influx. I hope OP will understand this time. |
Rossikk: People like u only see what u want to see, and always negative. That's the answer to your diatribe. I'm sure you saw "random mansions built with stolen money" in Onne port, Abuja's water treatment centre, and Ikot Ekpene's public parks, among other infrastructure depicted.Rosikk, I am not knocking ur stuff, if u fail to see sense in what I wrote and instead translate it to antagonism well, that's why we are not growing, we can't just take constructive criticism. I saw the pictures u pointed out but did u not read the very 1st statement on my comment? If u did, why can't u comprehend the simple fact that I wasn't referring to every pictures u brought forward? And why did u not limit ur pictures to the ones that actually showed "BOOM"? If u showed those other random pictures and labelled it beautiful sites of bla bla, do u think I would have commented the same? U used the word "BOOM" and so ur pictures must be reasonably consistent to that. Thats what I am about. |
Just a very few of these pictures are actually relevant when we are talking of developments. The problem with Nigerians is that we still do not know what development means. The OP posted several pictures of just a house that is well painted or a Bank building or just a random mansion that was probably built with stolen money and some hotels or estate with manicured gardens. He even showed pictures of Government houses. Now tell me, do all these things show that the cities are booming? If u want to show booming places, lets see stuffs like tourist attraction that is well attended, or industrial terrains, or provision of infrastructure that massively benefits the masses irrespective of class. E.G a mass transit system like a tram or light rails. That's development. Or eradication of slums and replacing it with modern well planned housing projects targeted at at least the middle class and not the rich few. That is development. If u want to continue to show beautiful random pictures like these and say its development, then all states in Nigeria are booming. |
BetaThings: The Shariah of old no longer appliesOn what premise is this ridiculous statement? Nothing wey I no go hear from fellow muslims. They confuse themselves even at the level of the so revered scholars and even when the Quran is clear and unambiguous. Or is it? Betathings? Are u referring to the God's revelation as the Shariah of old? Well Al Quran is not sharia OK? Sharia is a different thing entirely. Stop mixing things all up. And ur thinking comes off more like the typical xtian beleif of old/versus new testament. Well may be I know why u said it, cos the Hadith is no different from the Bible, they are both mere narrations hence both characterized with consistent inconsistencies. U need to be smartly consistent with the line of ur arguments because here u mentioned the children of Adam but do u not know that prohibition to marry our siblings came to existence as it was clearly revealed in the Quran? It wasn't just a narration from a chain report in a hadith. So that is very clear, U can not substitute mere narrations for the mighty revelations of the Almighty. May be u and I will never agree on this and its ok with me. BetaThings: You have only tried to tell us what you believe. But your premise in invalidWell if u think I only told u what I believe, how is that different from every other person including u here telling us what u believe? Tell me? I did not call anyone sinner here, I simply referred to God's warning for anyone prohibiting what he the Almighty has never prohibited for mankind, so are u guilty of the warning? And u said that the same Quran tells us that the Prophet is our perfect example. Well of course, no one is disputing that but why don't u go further to prove how that translates to that the prophet has the authority to make new revelations to overwrite God's, (I will be waiting for ur proves) he is a deliverer of "the message", God did not arrogate to ANY prophet the authority to make their own law. The duty and or responsibility of the prophet is clearly defined in the Quran. If u do not know, go and find out. |
OP! OP!! OP!!! How many times did I call u? Please Make Sure that U Read This Pls listen and listen good, u simply can keep a dog as a Muslim. There is nothing inherently indicative of not keeping a dog in ur home or anywhere even from the hadith that some guys have quoted here just think about God's words and logic. Are u weak on logic? I am fed up of how Muslims just do not have a common sense understanding of their religion. All they do is keep asking ppl as if Islam is a secret that they can't learn by themselves. If u do not understand what I mean by logic and common sense, I will explain as follows: 1) U have been taught here that u can keep dog as hound dog but not as a pet (This instruction does not make any sense because anyone's hound dog is that person's pet) 2) Some more lenient instruction here told u that u can keep dog as a pet but only that u don't allow them to touch u, because then u can not pray with the clothes they have touched (Well this doesn't make sense too because how would u keep an animal like dog as a pet without having contact with it? God knows that fact for sure and he wouldn't put u in an unnecessary predicament) Now, Lets look at some of the verses in the Quran where God says some things about Dogs? 1) In Suratul Kaf verse 13, God described the Dwellers of the Cave as "good believers" and then further along the line of the narration at verse 18, God tells us that they "The Good Believers" had their Dogs with them. Analysis- The dwellers of the cave must have been dog lovers and or fanatics as a group of ppl and it must have been that the majority had their dogs with them otherwise, there wouldn't have been any reason for the emphasis "they had their dogs" in the revelation. If having a dog is even a bit of a problem, prohibited or dirty, how come were the dwellers of the cave "good believers" and they had their dirty dogs? 2) In Surah Al Maidah verse 4, God Almighty categorically permitted us to eat animals that has been hunted down by our dogs Analysis- A dog runs after a prey, kills it with its mouth, carries it with the same mouth for a distance that may stretch up to a kilometer back home, happily with its mouth watering (salivating) and tail wagging out of excitement. Now God says u may eat that prey, it is lawful. If a dog is dirty, and they should be avoided because we should not have contact with their mouth or saliva otherwise we are unclean and can not even pray with a cloth they merely touched, How then can we eat a prey killed by the same dirty gog with their unholy mouth full of evil saliva? 3) The Quran contains a very important rule for all believers, and the rule is: Nothing is haram (unlawful) unless it is prohibited by God Himself, and since God describes the Quran as complete, perfect and fully detailed, thus all the prohibitions decreed by God are found in the Quran. If I continue with this topic, I may end up writing the volume of a book and its never my intention to do so. So in conclusion, keeping a dog is not prohibited in Islam U MAY KEEP A DOG IF U WANT. The Islamic school of thought that prohibits keeping dogs for Muslims in my opinion are actually committing a sin because God categorically stated that no one has the authority to prohibit what he the Almighty in his infinite mercy has never prohibited for mankind. U would observe that those who are are telling u to keep off dogs are quoting the Hadith... Well that is where the problem is. Any hadith that contradicts the direction of God's revelation or apparent intent in the Quran is not advisable and u know why? because the instructions in a Hadith can never overwrite the God's revelation in the Quran. It can only agree with it or corroborate it. I have tried my best and now it is left for u to make rational decisions with ur own discretion. May God Help us all! and PS! Thanks for reading this long post. |
Keshi don fall my hand big time!!! His action was very unprofessional and he didn't even think about it. He is fast building an A-class coach status for himself if he continues to achieve with the super eagles. But he has to think about the consequences of his action on his reputation. He should ask himself that after super eagles where would he go? Would he be looking for coaching job outside Africa when he has branded himself as a racist coach? May be has a limited ambition to not coach beyond Africa. He needs to think, at his age, experience and exposure, he should surely know better. |
Nten: They are busy video taping gullible policemen & women demanding #20 on the road. They should go to the national assembly and video the senators who looted & are sharing our money. At least some ppl have done something, why don't u continue where they have stopped most especially since u know exactly what they should do. I like ur suggestions but why can't u at least do one of those, its not so difficult most especially if u are in Naija. Do not discredit these ppl's actions if u haven't done anything. |
J12: My brother its a painful story. 100 naira is not even up to a dollar. And this woman will lose her job because she attempted to request a bribe of a little 100 naira. What is sad here? Nigerians don come again ooo, because it was just 100naira they want to start sympathizing with her abi? This is why we are not developing, we are complaining about the rot in our country but still we like to condone the factors that perpetuate the rot. This is not a question of the value of the bribe, it is a question of getting rid of an obnoxious culture of corruption in Nigeria. Do u know how many 100nairas she extorts day in day out? |
Goke7: keshi is inviting 24 home-based players to camp so that the the training camp will be lively with some tempo before the foreign based players arrive so they too will flow with the tempo and increase it, opening the camp with only 5 or even 10 home based players is only a waste of time, 24 players can be divide into two teams who can size up each other for effective training and monitoring for fitness, also it will afford the coaches to examine the home based players for the CHAN coming up early next year.Thank u jare, u know exactly how it is. NFF did not make that decision in good faith. They want Keshi to fail so they can hire white mediocre coach as usual. Why not deliberate the reasons why he invited so much home based players? Keshi would definitely have his reasons. No foreign coach can ever do what keshi is doing. Do u think a foreign coach will have time to discover talent from Nigerian league? Would a foreign coach even live permanently in Nigeria during the time of his contract? They are proxy coaches. |
It is true that 42 players are too much but he might also be using that to spark competition in the team so that at no point would any player think he has a regular jersey which will in turn curb complacency. No matter how, there would be some 4-5 home based players that will challenge the more established players in training and by so doing, they will be forced to step up their games. That is good for the overall strength of the team. |
Gombs: Lemme address this issue of the "poor", "starving" etc. First of all, a nation of Christian believers are not the poor trying to be rich, they are the rich discovering their inheritance in Christ. In as much as you try to sugar coat it, the prosperity of the brethren is in their pastor/teacher/apostle/bishop etc according to 2 chronicles 20v20 King James Bible@Gombs, u are lost. I feel sorry for u. If ur MOG has prospered above the brethren that he preaches to, why does he need the same brethren to fund N1b auditorium? There is no common sense in everything u wrote here. U think that God's generals should be allowed to live the lifestyle of a thief since the worthless thieves are able to live the same lifestyle. Well by ur logic, that will mean that the God's generals are thieves too if all they want to do is compete with thieves in terms of lifestyle. Well may be they actually are! U are not thinking before commenting Gombs. Now if the OP's account of his experience is actually true, then it is ridiculous. If 10 ppl will donate N1b, that means 100milli per person. Who will donate 100 milli just like that to the church? If not the thieves that are stealing from our treasury? Which businessman who earned his money from hard work without shortcut will just donate 100milli for Adeboye? If u know one, mention his name right here and let's know who that is. The bottom line is that the church harbors thieves and Adeboye and co are accomplices. Bitter truth. |
