DrDauda:I am or I'm... Dem no teach you with English for Med school? |
Abee79:Proverbs 18:22: He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD. God doesn't give you a wife. You look for her. And when you find her (someone you're compatible with), you obtain favour from God |
montezz:I'm not the man. And you don't have to be angry over his choice just because you're fat and probably short too. There're lots of men to go round sweetheart |
Abee79:Lawyer or Law student: Perhaps a career/profession he admires and respects and have always wanted to marry from the field. Personally if I have my way, I would marry a nurse or a medical doctor. Thanks to my mom, I've never been admitted in the hospital. What I'm trying to say is he has a reason. Very tall: He might be short for a man and wouldn't want his kids that way. Personally I'm tall even as a guy, but I despise short ladies. With reason though, one being I'm yet to see one who isn't unnecessarily aggressive or always feels you're talking down on her or trying to intimidate her (during an argument) because of her height. Again, his choice Both parents must be Catholic & Uhrobo by tribe: Religious and Cultural synergy. His choice. While I personally do not admire ladies from my tribe (several reasons for that), I wouldn't get married outside the Catholic church. 20 & 28 years : I wouldn't settle with a lady older than me. A very close female friend of mine, with just a few months on me is always quick to remind me we ain't mates whenever we have normal friend issues. God fearing: Though clichéd, everyone desires a peaceful home. And the presence/love/fear of God in your lives is the first step in achieving a lovely marriage |
montezz:For stating "HIS" preference? Seriously? I bet you have a preference for "YOUR TYPE" of man, and if all things should go your way, you wouldn't settle for just any man. Lets learn to be civil by respecting people's choices please. I wonder why it's not ok for a man to reject a short or fat girl, but becomes very ok for a (short or fat) lady to look out for a tall, muscular and athletic looking man. |
NL1960:Even before stepping foot in a boarding house, I was already trained to wake up and begin my day by 5am. The only difference was the voice of a prefect "barking" or the sound of a bell did the waking up. If there was any training I got while being a boarding student that I didn't get at home, it was simply how to survive without my parents. Visiting days were even privileges for me all through. Yet the fear/love of my family's name made sure I never went off course. I had been trained already from home. Boarding school only made me tougher. This discussion should have been "Mixed or Singles sex boarding house, which is better?". Because in all honesty, boarding schools have far greater advantages than your regular day school. |
favoured234:You'll only end up heartbroken. And why is almost everyone before me saying "No one would raise my children for me?" My teachers never raised me. My parents (especially my mother) did even though I attended a boarding house. Sending your kids to boarding houses is different from abdicating your parental responsibilities. |
SambisaKing:In giving my suggestion, I'll say you go with "yourmedianameng.com". While the "ng" would give an impression of it being of Nigerian origin, you'll still have the ".com" to show it's contents are for the global audience. |
May God bless all the struggling youths out there. |
989900:I'm wondering why too. The surprising point to even note is the fact that he wasn't automatically employed by his dad into his ministry. For those talking about fallen soldiers kids, even recently the army awarded scholarship to them. It's not as though such arrangement were previously not in place, its just fellow Nigerians shortchanging them. PS: The dude might not even need the employment since his late dad's chambers is in existence or,might have something better doing for himself. Sometimes its allowed for us to do away with our sense of political correctness and show human empathy. This dude just lost both parents and a younger brother for crying out loud. Except perhaps mountain of fire members, no sane human mind wishes an enemy that fate |
BaddieKay:You guys keep talking about fixing that road, fixing that road... Abuja-Kaduna expressway is one of the best in the country. I remember during late Gen Azazi's funeral mass, the officiating bishop said if the East-west road were to be in good shape, Azazi (and Yakowa) probably would not have used the helicopter. In his addressing speech, former president Jonathan made a comment that statistics from the FRSC showed that, there were more fatal accidents on good road in Nigeria than bad roads. Truth is, Nigerians are speed freaks on good roads. You need to travel through that road to understand what I'm saying. If you think 140kmp is too fast for a car, then be prepared to see drivers on this route doing 180-200 comfortably, no joke. We need to change our attitude on highways |
bigneorapz:Nah... I do with the lights on and I'm free to insert my fingers |
Maybe she's a He after all... Like you've been shagging a guy ![]() ![]() |
SunehriLasgidi:There'll be none to crash.. Just me and my cake alone |
