Toyota is more tolerant of abuse by Kazeems. Resale value slightly higher too just because of the Toyota brand. Otherwise hardly any difference. |
Atouke:Abeg treue true o, tell me what happened to Arik & Aero. Are they still even operating at all? Stepping down will not be enough though. Unless the indictment is totally unfounded or it's a listed company so that investors/shareholders have to be protected. And Americans are very careful with such big indictments because the judicial process costs lots of public money. No DA will take such a risk recklessly. |
Wasky101:Nemo dat quod non habet. Simple as that. |
Mutemenot:Dude those rich elders typically eat and quietly clean mouth. How many want to marry like NED? Unless he follows one mallam up North. Not as easy as Regina Daniel makes it look. |
Op, I get you point. We cannot help the tradition we are born into. But listen. A few centuries back majority of people below the class of my family in pour patch of this world were basically our serfs. Not slaves but people served us various capacities. We were not allowed to marry them. We rather married from other tribes' royalty and aristocracy than marry our people of class. At some point our ancestor made a proclamation that there should be no more discrimination when it comes to marriage. This was both common sense and practicality. Our daughters were going into totally alien cultures far away in name of marrying into the right class and we were marrying women from faraway with no knowledge of our culture or mores. Now we are in the 21st century. The obis, igwes, Igbo socio-cultural groups and politicians need to look into this osu issue. |
Tellemall:A club is a public venue. Rules and laws govern activities in public venues. This wasn't an act in a private place criminally leaked in the media. He would not have been suspended by his club if his sex video was leaked online without his consent. We also need to look at his contract of employment and her conditions of admission. Please let's separate issues. |
Chuks9000:The same Africa\Nigeria where people breed anyhow and create yahoo yahoo, kidnappers, money ritualists, armed robbers and lately Boko people all over the place? Which animal is worse than corrupt politicians who use thugs to kill and siphon money away. Turning hospitals into places to die and mortuary business one of the most lucrative? We Africans are very funny hypocrites. Obsessed with sex matter and totally forget things that will make us go forward. What anybody records in his private life should be nobody's business. As long as they are not breaking the law. But if leaking such private stuff without consent is against the law then the leaker must be punished accordingly. Serious countries follow the law. Not some subjective individual moral hypocrisy. At this rate one religious fanatic pentecostal or Northern guy can come and advocate any form or video recording as work of the devil. Where will it stop? |
mechanics:Abeg nor remind me of that miss against South Korea again o. It cost us qualification from our group. |

bukatyne:My dear consider several things before we jump on the side of the man or the woman. Culture: In our culture everything the man has ultimately belongs to the man. Even if not literally. Because kids bearing the man's name will ultimately inherit her property and wealth. The man from religious and cultural point is still head of the house. This is not same as being a dictator. So a man pays dowry and bride's family give into a new family complete with "chassis" name. ![]() The couple: Now the couple from the beginning would have a dream in terms of careers and other achievements for the future. Now if two agree to walk the walk of life together, then there should be no secrecy. Often it's women who secretly acquire property. Mostly friends and family advise them to do just in case the man marries another wife or have kids outside. Essentially the lady/advisers predict negativity and go ahead to do something negative even if the man never plans to do so. We do not know the full details of how they have been getting along over the years but it appears the lady probably just waited for this kids to grow/get educated, build her house and leave. Fact is divorces at every stage of marriage will become more common. Something already common in the West. As we copy Western ways, challenges of Western societies will become prevalent too. But we do not have the social safety net of the West to cushion the economic consequences like the West have. |

airminem:And in his opinion sustain a corrupt geographical entity midwifed by the LovePeddler of Lord Lugard. ![]() The traditional institution has far more credibility than Nigeria or any Nigerian institution. Maybe police or NEPA is the institution that he thinks works fine in Nigeria. |
Happy birthday ma. |
Yep |
ednut1:Much of Lagos land for sale Na govt land, non-residential zones, committed land, etc. Some will even brazenly tell you "look, all those tall and fine buildings around are on govt land. The govt can't do any poo. Patapata you will do ratification" . As if ratification is cheap. ![]() ![]() |
OK. |
Hmmmm, maybe she's preggy for one married or ineligible man already. But also not ready for abortion at her age. That's where you come in my friend. An eligible single dude. ![]() Chai! Anyway about 30% of kids belong to another man outside. Firstborn kids (like your possible case) rises to about 35%. You will be in very good company sir! ![]() The other angle is since all guys are always running away after a while, make she kukuma just born one child before it's too late. Yep, some girls are deciding to do so now. Dude it depends on you. If you want a proper marriage before kids, she's not for you. If you want a kid soon too and you're sure she's the right lady for you, cool. Yet her hurry is a bit suspicious. |
lefulefu:In Yankee not if they know it was leaked by someone else without her consent. Yes, I cannot understand why people record themselves having sex. But still it's not illegal. Law and society should always protect someone who has broken no law. Simple. |
Well, Nigeria has a big enough market for music. SA one too. 9ja musicians regularly fill O2 Arena in London and other venues. This crude rivalry has no point. Since Africans can never unite, let everyone keep their own local audiences. |
lefulefu:Which means una enjoyed the video already fa. ![]() I'd not watch such a video. To discourage those who upload it to spite or shame the victim. I guess there is no evidence that she released the video. It could have been a phone technician who did. People can take out memory cards, download the content and put it back in the phone, For example charging a phone in someone's house. Well, which castigation is worse than expulsion? |
lefulefu:By hanging her out to dry, they have generated even far worse publicity. At least to international audience. Unless of course they know they operate in a hypocritical medieval society long left behind by civilised world. I guess they tailored their action to suit that environment where things operate upside-down. |
komodapson:My brother all these hypocrites castigating the girl, if you x-ray their private lives, most are far more sordid. Is it not the same 9ja where about 30% of kids belong to another man outside? Is it not men who kpensh wives of their friends, of neigbours, of fellow church members or colleagues they know are married? Just be looking at them. This silly "morale high ground" attitude makes us lag behind and fail to legislate for new situations that our laws may not fully cover yet. We blame victims. Very soon they will be blaming victims of kidnapping or armed robbery for not being careful enough. |
lahizak:My brother Nigeria is Victorian society. A medieval religious one in some areas. Never mind modern cars, smartphones and cloak of modernity, we're mentally and socially stuck in the distant past. Where is it illegal in a secular judicial system for grown-ups to have consensual sex? Or recording of it by both consenting adults? However, dissemination of such recordings without consent is illegal. We must be a society that respect the law first of all. Not hypocritical moral high ground being by people who mostly in real life are in moral "deep oil wells". We must dispassionately support rule of law every time. That's how societies move forward. Whatever we think of the girl's private behaviour, it was meant to be private. Not public. Many things thing billions of people do daily that we might frown upon if we knew but are breaking no law. In distancing themselves from the girl, they have shown hypocrisy and failure to support their student who has been wronged. They could have privately counselled and reprimanded her. |
Very funny people. When there are no public toilets? |
Yet women say marriage Na scam. Yet the stampede to accept marriage proposals daily. Now Na proposals be scam. ![]() What a lowlife guy. |
While a pastor using his position of authority to fvck both married and single female Church members has a free pass to heaven. Now I can see why China is trying to control religious scan. |
She hired a slay king teacher. ![]() The oga of the house should be thankful. This kind guy can straff madam of the house given half a chance. He has already reached the bed room Na. ![]() |
Terrible. Rip. |
AryaSand:Dear, if you look around enough you will find very decent guys who also do not really want to have kids. You know in the African environment we are very superstitious. They will say she has used her womb or he has used his eggs to do money ritual or some other juju if someone says they do not want kids. So people hide that feeling. They go on to have kids they cannot love as they would love to. I do not castigate those who do not feel they need kids. I love kids and the joy of having and raising them far outweighs the stress and burden of it. But I do not expect everyone to be like me. We just need to show more understanding to people like you. And there are many. |
kerry57:I wonder if making roads better for Boko to sneak into town to foment havoc is a good idea. The military need more rugged equipment to use in that terrain. Hope Boko will not hide IEDs in such holes and disguise them as spots repaired by the military. When fighting an unconventional enemy you have think of everything. |
Treasure17:Oh boy. Before Police and arrest him if something goes wrong. Jungle things. No paddy o. ![]() |
