Greengrass260:Hmmm. |
holaxi:My dear it takes time to truly know a person. Any person. So three years is not as big as you think. Maybe she only just let her guard down, You know when a lady knows you love her more than she loves you. Or she has met some who she thinks can easily replace you. Of course the new guy may just be sweet-mouthing and flattering her like you did 3 years ago but has no sincere intentions. If she truly values the years you have been together and the fact your both families know, she won't be so flippant with matter. Remember she might be under pressure to marry and the new guy is offering (whether honestly or dishonestly). One sure thing is she finds something very attractive about him. This may or may not be your fault but she does. Weigh everything carefully. Ask her where she sees your relationship heading. If she appears to care very little or has no plans to commit, dude try and move on. If she was Caucasian and she asked for a break, I'd have just told you to move on. But as na dudu girl, the odus the guy dey give her may expire soon. And she may be running back. At any rate I wouldn't bet my last dime that the guy has not munched from the cookie jar already. Even the most "decent" girl has a guy out there that can make her to stray under certain circumstances. But that's just my opinion. What do I know? On the other hand, many girls/women married and single do keep male friends without ulterior motives on the lady's part. Even if the male friend clearly showed/shows romantic interest. Ladies like to be desired. It's a bonus if the guy is funny, easy-going and a good listener or good problem solver with many interesting ideas. Ladies feel like they are in control of the situation/friendship. By and large it works out well. BUT if the marriage/relationship start having serious issues, a "bad" male friend may see an opportunity to strike. When she's very vulnerable. |
johnmartus:Dude, it can be true. I know many who entered UNIBEN at 16 even a few years before him. It might surprise you but by then people did GCE O' level as external candidates in old class three. And many passed all the papers around age of 14. Yours truly did and many others. You had to be 16 by October 1st of year of admission or something similar. Some just did it to test how much work they needed to pass compulsory English & Maths instead of waiting to do WAEC in class 5 and fail English/Maths. And begin re-enrolling in panic. Many who passed in old class 3 or 4 just left secondary if they also passed Jamb. A relative did and graduated at age of 19 plus. No big deal there. I even know one or two who passed GCE O'level so young that they had to increase age for Jamb. |
Officialgarri:A new ministry is part of civil service. So you send political appointees straight into civil service. People appointed politically on paddy paddy basis. They are not even pretending that people are recruited into civil service on merit with transparency. ![]() Why not second some staff from existing ministries while we recruit from among millions of qualified and jobless Nigerians? And none of the president's own staff were redeployed but VP's own only. ![]() Well like Afenifere said since VP appears cool with it, they should let them play their game. |
supercase1:Dude it would be very worrying is a person hadn't a proper load of bacteria in his or her gut and nyansh of course. The bacteria are essential for a healthy life. |
Poverty. Poor moral values. Greed. Quick gain no matter who loses. |
Rip Oloye. |
saraki2019:Na triple plus o. ![]() Their main crime is impersonation of law officers and proceeds from crime. To prove demand of money using threat of exposure may not be easy to prove. Unless they left such details in their phones. It appears the brothers actually helped expose many yahoo guys. If EFFC were more efficient and arrested a lot more yahoo guys, these hoodlums would have no job. They should forfeit their assets and do their time in jail jeje. |
respect80:Lucky Igbinedion caused it. His performance as gov was so bad that Edo people would have warmed up to an orang utang who performed just a tiny bit. That was the case with Oshiomhole. |
Litmus:Well all those countries have something in common, with only minor variations due to longstanding cultural differences. All those countries are organised, efficient and effect systems that better the lives of their citizens. If Nigeria was as good as Holland, resident Nigerians in Italy or Germany won't complain about Nigeria. And vice versa. |
papyskinsy:Because even our sky vex like the masses. ![]() |
Tarabye:The country is in coma already anyway. Maybe then everybody will go their separate ways. It might even be the only natural trajectory as things currently stand. |
I kiss my teeth for you. Na ordinary comparison your mom do and you dey complain? Wetin you expect before under the uncertain and harsh economic conditions of 9ja? You be indomie kid. You even lucky get OND in SLT so the basic science part of pharmacy will not trouble you too much. Nor focus on getting on with your course and breezing through with hard work. Dey complain there. At the end who will still sponsor you? Not same parents? You never see anything. Get serious and begin planning to succeed in life. And make yourself and your parents proud. That should be your goal. |
OK. |
exstreve:Weyrey! And more like: "Kate Henshaw hangs out with the lady whose car she bashed". "Lady whose Car Kate Henshaw bashed is the spitting Image of the girl her White ex-husband Nutall Cheated on her with". ![]() |
Bennycollins:UI uses a different system. 7.0 being the top. Perfect in fact. The lady is good. Nor be joke. PhD from MIT or Stanford and silicon valley next. Congrats girl. Hope they won't give her biro & exercise book as prizes and give BBN people cars. |
Ize-Iyamu na unstable guy. |

jaybee3:I thought it was Staffordshire o. Anyway since it's not one of the universities I would recommend, I wouldn't know. With many new universities in UK these days quite possible not to know some. I think regretting something you weighed carefully before doing it is funny. Unless you just rushed into it. I guess OP is referring to those who left Nigeria just to study abroad at own expense. I guess some of those who chose just any school 'so far Na abroad school " yet expected juicy jobs with multinational companies soon after graduating might have cause to regret. But education is about experience, personal development, broadening horizon and gaining transferable skills. Hardly something to regret. |
Briller:Madam with proper management it should cost under 10m in Benin in a dry area. Unless of course your taste is exquisite. Sadly too many people you trust are only too eager to rip you off. If you are in diaspora 50 to 150% inflation of cost should not surprise you. Seen it all. If rental accommodation building expensive means low ROI. If building to live in think of how long you hope to live in it. Will family still grow, etc? |
Threebear:Dude it's always easy to compare players early on in their careers. Nwankwo Kanu was compared to Ronaldo da Lima when they were at Ajax and PSV respectively in Holland. Kanu even won CL so early. Irrespective of heart problem, as good as Kanu was, he was never gonna be like R. da Lima. They were different players. Mikel was never ever gonna be like Messi or Eto. Actually his defensive reorientation probably helped his career. His work was specific and helped his longevity in that role. With far less pressure. How many other talented Nigerian players lasted that long playing in any position at a top club winning so many trophies at that same club? An offensive midfielder, forward or striker who doesn't score or make assists regularly soon loses his relevance. See the way Lukaku has being criticised. Even Pogba for not dictating the game in addition to scoring and threading balls nicely. Ortega was supposd to be the next Maradona. Was it Chelsea that killed his game or being made more defensive? No two players even develop in the same way. Despite the initial hype and subjective similar expectations. |

Abeg I have only one kweshion o: where exactly are these houses FG want to sell? Imagine no locations, mention of types of accommodation never mind prices or who is even eligible. |
Carbon2Oxide: ![]() Sounds like a joke now. But wait until they get official recognition. ![]() |
imhotep:I wonder if many of these people we choose to represent us abroad even know their job o. They seem to serve the interests of host countries not of Nigeria or Nigerians. West Africans are meant to be free to reside and do business in ECOWAS countries. The envoy shouid be telling host country to respect those rights. |
livebyday:Tribalism played a big role. And religion in the North. Nothing Jonathan could have done. Short of very draconian measures. He left at the right time. But he is urbane far from being an over ambitious narcisist. Nigerians can now suffer for their poor political understanding at leisure. Hope they learn from it. |
isthatso:Hahahaha. Kikkikiki. ![]() Our president goes to UK for ear infection treatment. At great cost to public purse. Now they expect pensioners of his age to leave free medical care in the West and retire to Nigeria. That would be tantamount to walking into overfilled and poorly maintained mortuary in Nigeria. ![]() |
kaywhy09:So much o. Avoid them right from the beginning if you can. |
Plead:God bless you. Too many leaches with sense of entitlement. First family tried to dictate who he should marry. Now they want him to carry all their financial load. I bet they are still codedly against his wife. He has done well to keep his family from problem relatives. Too many salary earners fall into this trap and hardly achieve anything in life despite so much hardwork. No matter how much you help them they will still never be satisfied. He called guy rich without knowing his bank account balance. Long throat people. These are the village people that people talk of. They are actually close relatives with eyes on your money and family. Not anybody not related in faraway ancestral village. God pass them. The leach cannot forge his path in life despite being a graduate. Pathetic. |
