An age that experts believe is reasonable had to be set. This is in conjunction with local traditions & norms.

For someone without a grasp of adolescent physiology & mental health, age of consent of 16 or 17 or 18 might seem arbitrary. But it isn't.

At 15, most kids are still coming to terms with the enormous physical change & secondary sexual characteristics of the last couple of years as well as their sexuality. It is also a time of rebellious behaviour and trying to find their place in world of grown ups. Even 6 months is a long time in such a period of rapid change. Now also consider the school & peer pressure kids are vulnerable to at that age. Never mind possible family issues, poverty and so on.

The last thing they need at that point is to be exploited by a grown up preying on their insecurities.

I guess it depends. If manslaughter that was not calculated and planned, but happened suddenly by accident, then remorse & circumstance should be considered. Up to 10 years in jail should do.

If you deliberately shot or stabbed or poisoned or otherwise planned & killed someone, your repentance should be between you & God or whatever higher power you believe in. Legal process must take its full course. QED.

The probability of carrying it to term is irrelevant. Since nature obviously failed 100% over many years. Even the approx 5 to 49% chances with AR, depending on age, expertise/hospital centre, is still way better.

If used and concealed, it is pure dishonesty. Say the truth & let others know how you did it & help them.

We should quit making everything a pure religious matter. IVF was not invented by pastors but by people who sat down to actually physically apply their god-given abilities.
