Bimfo: Thank God he dint make the trip to Nigeria... It would have been a disaster Btw Nigeria and Ghana... The two countries are not in good terms at all... But y should they be?? When 1 Ghana cedi, is equal to ₦83.. Easy young man. Nigeria may be anything but exchange rate of currency is not necesarily meaningful. Japan is a bigger and more productive economy than UK's but £1 is well over 100 yen. About 7 years ago, Bank of Ghana slashed "0000" from thir money. It's like overnight N10000 becomes N1 but with purchasing power of N10000. Ghanian economy did not grow 10000% overnight. Any country can do that. Even Yar'Adua weighed that option. Please inform yourself before going on a public forum. Their economy gets 60% investment from Nigeria (says a Ghanian minister): GTB, Glo etc and lots of SMI from Naija. Yes Naija is doing what Chinese companies are doing.........seeking business opportunities abroad. Why should we leave opportunities on our doorstep to the Chinese, Lebanese ? That is not to undermine the strides thay have made over the last 2 decades. They didn't have it easy in the 70s & 80s. Many Ghanians I know complain bitterly that there's been no improvement since Kuffour left. That may be subjective of course. But just like in Naija, while the economy booms...millions have not benefitted. |
^^^WHY THE FUC/K WAS MY POST IN REPLY TO THAT BASTARD BLUETOOTHS BIGGOTED COMMENT HIDDEN, YET THIS RUBBISH QUOTED ABOVE WAS ALLOWED (NOTE THE BOLDED) ?We're where we are now in Naija because of bigotry, tribalism and lack of patriotism AND that is from all sides. Corruption that we think is the main cause is just one of the major symptoms. Just like LUNG CANCER sounds more serious than smoking, even though smoking is the real cause of lung cancer. |
wadoski: Area-fada ur fada.. Wadoski, No insult meant oo. I learnt a lot from Ibos who were tennants in our houses. They came with nothing and made it through sheer prudence. I don't buy stuff any how for example. See what profligacy did to Greece, Spain etc. |
This thing is serious o. People should 4get tribalism here. People say Igbo people are largely republican but still they respect the traditional rulers immensely. So such thing happening means there is now no regard for anybody or institution. Is the stool disputed? Every kidnap is bad but we expect traditional rulers to help inculcate values in people. If they too are now being kidnaped, then it is worrying. |
RIP boy. |
igbo2011: lmao. Simples. It's the state of confusion we find ourselves in! Imagine a jobless boy in Naija was asking his sister in UK for 500k to just manage do white wedding. When she no give, he said "ah, London people too stingy sef". Now wedding, funeral, all na double. Traditional and oyinbo own. |
freecocoa: HML to them but them force Naeto C?Maybe he's thinking " chei, Nna, this babe don tie me down o. I cannot flow wella with those babes again. Jesus u. Well, i hope mama who wants a grandchild is happy now". ![]() |
It very nice but i can't help not to notice that Naeto C's suit doesn't seems to fit him very well.. maybe he got it long time before the wedding and gain some weight before the wedding... It is like he even forced the button to close. Happy marriage life
. Naetochukwu Chikwe na Igbo man. Why waste money on another suit when you have an old one at home? ![]() |
Lovely simple wedding. The babe fine. If them say Kema na her bridesmaid, you no go argue am. Wish them HML. |
dayokanu: Now lets do the Maths. The guy has 2.5m How much do they buy a plot of land in Ogun State and how much would buy an acre? How much would it take to set up a farm like you described aboveGreat. He cannot do both at the same time. Like I said, limited cash, limited options. (1)He can buy a truck for around 2m. Maintenance (except major ones) will be done by company. He can remain in UK to raise some cash for another income stream biz. (2) Somewhere in SS, I got an acre for 120k near a village. Ogun state can be hardly more depending on location. Just meters from the village, an acre went for 200k. I heard it's gonna go up soon. I |
I graduated and left Nigeria for UK more than 15yrs ago, was suppose to do my masters but never get to do it. Since I came to UK I have been doing all kinds of odd jobs and barely surviving. Now am in my early 40s, tired and disappointed with nothing/little I have achieved. I have 2 kids living with their mum. And all I can show for my life struggle in all these years is just about £10,000. I cannot continue like this. |
While promoting use of local resources is a good thing, it should not be rushed. What plans have they got to improve cassava yield? Will there still ne enough cassava for eba? More Nigerians eat eba than bread. When are they going to swap their Government Mercs, Toyota, Lexus, Porsche, Ford and BMW SUVs for Innoson Motors? Eating a loaf of cassava bread in NEC meeting and yet eating 1 billion Naira a year is not good enough. |
Enigma Haulage Services Freeland Inter-Haulage LTD Enigma InterLogistics Speedy InterLogistics Paragon InterLogistics etc By the way, how many trucks do you need to start a small haulage business? |
Is it a Southerner running away from the north who's selling the house? It's good to know so that we can know those it should appeal to. |
Can you give a bit more info sir? How much distance already run? Year built? Is it registered? Have you got original car documents? |
With those Oshiomhole eyes, it is hard to rate. Ask PDP fanatics to rate you . If those political opponents say you are handsome, then you truly are. |
110k, let me know if it's a deal. where is it located? Age of car? |
Can 155k give this baby a send off? Which year was it built? |
