Because the last antenatal class I went for, they also advised us to take Lipton so that we won't have a big baby that could cause a tear during delivery. stop taking lipton oo,you dont want ur baby coming out with a wrinkled skin. you may cut down on your milo intake,but not totally. plus if u wanta very fresh baby,take cod liver oil,folic acid is very important too. Trust me a doctor who knows what he is doing should know that first time mothers may have tear so he shuldnt wait for the baby to tear you in several places,they should rather cut you in just one place and do episiotomy after the cut,when it heals up,you wont evn feel that you were cut there

She takes milo like 3-4 times a week and like the OP, she can't take meds with water but I buy her five alive or hollandia yogurt to take it.

Plus she has been complaining lately which burns my heart. She complains of the baby kicking her too much, especially from 1am till about 5am. And according to her, it seems the baby's head is downward which hurts her stomach. She is in her 8th month.

The whole pain is actually depressing me and gets me scared ( lost the lady before her which plays on my mind).

moderacy is the key.. what she takes is okay and your baby is a footballer ,thats why he or she is kicking that hard,its normal for babies to kick at that stage,infact she should be worried if the baby doesnt kick atall in 48 hours,and the logical reason for yur little one that kicks around 1 am to 5 am is because when mummy is busy and moving around during the day,the baby feels rocked and they sleep,the moment mummy is quiet and laying down,they begin their play..lol..Even in their first month after birth,they keep awake at midnight because they are not yet used to our sleeping pattern. At this late stage,she might experience heartburn,because the baby's head is downwards into the cervix thereby pushing up at mummy;s chest.. Shes absolutely fine,ur little one is preparing to meet mummy and daddy. Get that fear out of your mind,baby and mummy are fine and will remain fine..

@Adewunmi. If you love your wife very well. I will advise you to tell her instead of taking tea she should take coffee with a cube of sugar. If you don't her to cost you for CS. When labouring... Okay and she always take the coffee every morning as well. Cos when taking much of soft drink, bournvita, peak milk. The weight of the baby will be big inside of her and that's cud bring a big problem for her delivery, and that cud bring about CS. Which may lead to you spending more of your funds and her health too. Vegatable is also okay for her at this period and if she can take whisky or dry gin that's cool as well. Goodluck

yeah, lipton is one and so are other tea bags. If you're registered in a federal hospital, you will certainly be told that. Lipton is a no no during pregnancy. Milo is very much preferable when taken in moderation.

Pregnancy difers in every individual including every babies. Don'tbe surprise you may not be able to take in your next pregnancy what you took in the previous ones, that is why every child is different

i also agree that the nurse is saying crap. how will you tell a pregnant woman to take lipton,something that has caffeine and can serve as a stimulant..No matter how different a pregnancy is,there are some things that are a no go area for a pregnant woman

my dear its nt advisable for a pregnant woman to be taking lipton. Let her take d milo instead buh moderately.. Better still,buy her malt,its healthier for her,then please ensure that she takes enough follic acid,helps her baby"s development and prevents malformation,she shuldnt forget her calcium and vitamins so that her baby isnt fragile and her pcv level doesnt get low,she may not like vit b complex kos it smells,d smell too pissed me off wen i had my baby. Did i tell u cod liver oil helps her baby"s skin to be fresh and succulent and lastly prayer is the key,she shuld never forget to pray for her little you,soft music helps too in ur baby"s development. Yur baby will come out a music lover esp the one that is played often(its true bf some1 counters that)

No one is abusing any child. which daycare would come bath your kids and feed them in the morning?? which daycare would take them till 10pm. Their mum is heavily pregnant. No one is leaving a child with an help.she is going to be under supervision too
