Biafrans want freedom through a peaceful referendum.
For being the first to mention 'war' you are the one who need to think again. |

AdiscoPele: I didnt want to say anything to this useless post, but properity wont forgive me if i dont correct the lies. I want to let the Op know that propaganda of this nature is not what you need at a time your people are agitating for seccession. Ojukwu used the same method of propaganda using the likes of Chinua Achebe, he was only able to convince his on tribe the Igbos. Twisting history to force the SS to join biafra is not the best option. It would have been better to let them know what they will benefit if they join biafra than lying to them. This people are no fools. Isacc Boro himself has a memoir, he wrote about his life and reason why he fought against biafra. He was not a fool. He had first hand dealings with the Igbos and know who and what they are. Using Boro as a propaganda against Nigeria wont help you. Where i come from, it is said that when an elder is around, he helps find solutuons to problems and not to escalate it. That is why i always maintain that Chinua Achebe was not a good elder. The same propaganda he used during the civil war was what he did in that book he wrote before he did. There was a country, i believe is not the type of book someone in the caliber of Achebe should have written. This was a man who during the war lived large to the detriment of the people he claimed to support. He was part of the who enjoyed the food supplied to the people of Eastern Nigeria which was been hijacked by Ojukwu before the blocade that resulted t the death of millions of Eastern Nigerians. I wonder what he(Achebe) would have done if he was in the shoes of the great Nelson Mandela. Please, stop all this propagandas as it wont help your cause. the only point you made was that boro wrote a memoir. U never even countered the 'propaganda' |

i heard buhari has set aside 20 billion naira to buy groups, individual, church leaders, and institutions in igboland against biafra. They want to fight back but we must be ready to counter them.
They will try so hard to give the very tiny anti biafran minority a voice. |

onila: and igbos dont have those crazy burials like Ikwerre
igbos are not wild like Ikwerre btw, you cannot be objective if you classify the ethnic group into 'Igbo' 'ikwerre' and 'anioma' if your emotion permits you, dissect the group you call igbo, you will discover that even onitsha, ogbaru in anambra and oguta in imo are all anioma. If you want understand igbo better, group them into ika, aro, anioma, ikwerre, izza, etche, ngwa, isu, ndoki etc you will see that despite the sameness in culture, each group has surnames and sub-cultures peculiar to it. Ikwerre is not alone in it. Like Chinda, amasiemeka are peculiar to ikwerre, ugwuanyi, asogwa are also peculiar to nsukka area but they are all igbo names. |

jaymichael: [s]The way some Ignorant land grabbing "oloripelebes" think is just appalling. You migrate from your anscestral home and settle close to Igboland and quiet naturally you assimilated some of their culture and part of their language, dueto intermarriage and association next, YOUR LAND IS IGBOLAND good to be annexed to their phantom biafraland. Their anscestors leave Igboland (seeking means of sustainance) migrated to your land, lived many years, next they say YOUR LAND IS IGBOLAND and they are taking it with them to Biafra. The cliche they always use for their landgrabbing tacticts? IGBOLAND IS NOT ONLY THE 5 SE STATES. If all the other major ethnic groups in Nigeria grab and claim the lands of other "minority" ethnic sub groups, won't there be anachy and chaos? They are not the only ethnic group that spread outside their traditional anscestral home. Yoruba tribes extended towards North Central, South south, in Nigeria, Benin republic, Togo, Ghana, Ivory coast. Think what will happen if Yorubas try to land grab in these countries. Three sons of Oduduwa established their kingdom in Benin republic, Popo, Sabe and Ketu, infact, the first son of Oduduwa (popo) established his kingdom outside The Southwest of Nigeria. These Yoruba tribes are Benin citizens who are 100% Yoruba like me whose father is from Ibadan and and likewise all other Yorubas in Other parts of Nigeria ourside the Southwest of Nigeria. I have never seen any Yorubas saying or claiming that Benin republic is Yorubaland. We have brothers there, who are 100% Beninoise, There are Yoruba kingdoms there, The first son of the Yoruba progenitor established his kingdom there, The Beninoises practice the same Yoruba traditional religion like sango, ogun (etc) worship, all these DOES NOT make Benin republic Yorubaland. We take them as our brothers, cousins and neighbors, there is mutual respect and understanding between us and that is ALL THAT MATTERS.[/s] yoloba man leave igbo matter alone. We expect more of this gibberish as biafrans get close to freedom. After pro biafran protests accross anioma and ikwerreland, those who take silly, idiotic and crassly uninformed opinions of people like the op that dominate nairaland serious, have learned that most analysis about igbo are mere stereotypes from yoloba which have no connection with reality. Imagine after calling them 'delta Igbo' he still say we 'claim' them how can one claim what is his ? |

You ain't exposing shiit Bro. What has d whole world done even your almighty UN done about UK/US invasion of Iraq and Libya? Nothing. Be smart Bro!!!
Don't you think that Igbos in UK and around the world are being silly with the same mistake of 60s? Why can't you guys be smart your destinies for once?
Must everything be fought for? No.
You guys simply lack common sense and diplomatic approach to tribal, national and disturbing issues in general. Gosh!!!! What has that rally all over your region done or achieve? Nothing.
Igbos should go and learn that from Hausas/Fulanis, Ijaws and of course the Yorubas or die in their ignorance, arrogance and sheer stupidity.
The problem of Igbos is quite simple and straight forward. The answer to Igbos' problems is their Elders. In a society where elders' words don't make any sense to their teaming youth and absence of respect from their youth and children is what is obtainable, then problems will naturally take over the society in due time and this is where Igbos are today.
No single prominent person could speak out against all your repulsive actions and stupidities cos they know what they would get from their disrespectful children.[/s] rantings of an ant |

For every right, there is a corresponding responsibility. Failure to live up to the responsibility means your right cease to exist and you must be treated like a common criminal.
Freedom and right are not absolute. elders will talk like elders, youths will be radical. The most important thing is what we believe in-Biafra! |
