Did someone say that the IGP was the target?
, in that case another bomb has just been wasted,
tell me, when will these i-diots successfully hit their target?

That will be the first requirement for a serious (re)action from our seeming "clueless" government

Four years isn't enough for Bros J to fix this messed up country. If he does well within the next four years, then it's GEJ till 2019

Breaking news, the political "Abuja" cabal are busy secretly allocating ministrial slots as compensation.
They (political leaders) know how to reconcile, we (the Nigerian masses) are only wasting our time attacking one another following the line of region/tribe/religion, ponder!!!

Whether Buhari or "Bros J" wins,
one thing is sure,
the winner needs our total support, he can't do IT alone.

Now that "Bros J" has won,
I thank God for many things,
one of which is,

I didn't waste my vote grin

Politics › Re: FG Wants 10 Billion Naira For Independence Day by AroOkigbo(m): 2:30pm On Jun 04, 2010
I'm afraid, we are talking about National Independence Celebration. Nigeria is 50 and we need to celebrate, and celebrate it big.
This is not an individaul's birthday celebration, remember it's all about the most populous black nation, gaint of Africa, the big brother, land of (free) flowing crude oil and rich natural gas,,
Money is never the problem of this nation so if you want to build (as someone equated it) 10 million km of roads, 1 million schools and hospitals, 20 million jobs, 100 refineries, etc, the money is there- national reserve, excess crude oil, recovered loots account, just name it!

My brother, wetin I go talk?
If you can't beat them, join them. I just did.
Uncle J and his evil spirit possessed cohorts no dey sensitive to the cry of the poor masses. Dem no de read nairaland!

That shows he still has working brains. Why wouldn't he reject it? Who in his/her right sense will?

His thinking faculty is still in shape, much better than that of IBB (talking about immortalising Abiola) and Aandoaka (supports Uncle Joe for 2011)

Crime › Why Will Someone Engage In Rape? by AroOkigbo(op): 12:39pm On May 20, 2010
I was listening in to Matse on Wazobia FM in the evening of yesterday.
The topic was "what on earth will make a man rape a woman"?
Some say that women cause it by their modern dressing, others blame the usual one- the devil, while one say it's fun.
A man even called in to say that the topic was biased as it is known that some women also rape men!!
We all know that it is wrong to rape- man vs man, man vs woman, woman vs man or womam vs woman (just name the combination).
Do I add man vs animal? Someone was reported as having raped a chicken in one of Chinua Achebe's novels.
What do N'landers say could be the reason?
Career › Re: I Am Confused - Job Satisfaction Or Renumeration? by AroOkigbo(m): 8:30am On May 20, 2010
Man, you are not alone.
I have a similar problem. My wife, son and daughter are all in Nigeria (UNN, because of her studies). For close on two years now, my company keeps me (training course) three months in SA and two weeks (off rotation) in Nigeria. They've only visited me twice.
I learnt to accept it because of the "solid pay" and the fact that it won't be forever. Soon she will complete her studies and I'm done by August and we shall all be living in Lagos, happy together, forever.
From 250k in Lagos to 90k in Enugu (of all places),
because of family,
a colossal drop,
not for me!!
NEVER!!

NIGERIANS! Always talking about US and UK presidos and celebs.
Let's come back home! How many of our presidos (past and present) are left handed?

Could this be the starting point of our numerous problems?

I'm right handed though and I"M DAMN PROUD OF IT. grin
Politics › Re: Church Where Founder's Skeleton Is Worshiped Lwkmd! by AroOkigbo(m): 4:04pm On May 17, 2010
ElRazur:
To all you muppets trying to turn this into a tribalism fiasco, abeg commot.

What is the difference between this and any other form of belief? Seriously what is the difference?

Jesus died long time ago - He is still being worship and prayed to by millions around the world. Heck they even believe he rose from the dead.

Muhammed died ages ago, yet, billion use his names in prayers. Heck, some emulate their lifestyle after him by marrying under age girls etc.

Millions of pilgrimage in India whip themselves with hard whips until they bleed and no one raises an eye brow.

So please tell me, how is this different from any form of belief?

We are quick to castigate others, but is it even fair or right?

Who are we to tell them what they belief in or not? Sure it may be wrong from a social norm to keep a skeleton, but I see no difference from how this differs from any other form of belief to be honest.
A BIG difference my brother. Have you ever attended any true christian crusade?
The prophesis of the word of God as contained in the Bible is alive and living. Jesus is Lord and He is the only way, truth and life.
Remember, no one cometh to the Father except through Him.

If the price of oil drops below the budgeted value, they shouldn't complain but, for once, make up the difference from the sum of years of unaccounted revenue from gas!!!!.
