I've always maintained that my NYSC year is the best one year of my life so far. Served in Ahoada, Rivers, didn't really make much money but I must say that my service affected the locals positively and they showed a lot of appreciation in their own little way. This really gave me a sense of fulfilment, pride and relevance. It really does make me sad to hear stories of corps members being killed these days. |
Roland17: Come on Man, grow up, i have nothing against United winning the game, it was hard fought and they deserve the victory for the resilience and poise, but if u are a true football fan, u should be sad for football watching SAF and later his assistants rant and stalk the lines man over calls its uncalled for, its out of the game.right on point bro. Man utd can win games but they can never win the respects of their opponents or even neutrals. Shame mancheats |
Y'all are constantly trying to make relating with the female folks look more difficult than advance Calculux. |
This has nothing to do with tribalism. This is a fact. The ibos didn't really travel this xmas. Heck, I dare say ibos actually left the east for lagos to celebrate xmas. . The traffic in lag in the last few days has been insane. Na wa o. |
thelastPope: But they are already building railways now! What are you yapping about? The Lagos-Kano has been rehabilitated and is working and you are still yapping! The Abuja-Kaduna is 50% complete and the Abuja city is also about 50%. Other tracks are being rehabilitated all over the country already the Lagos-Ibadan track is being laid as we speak and you are still talking trash!I go with the "dem swear for you say you have to always be bitter and negative" lol. There are lots of them here on NL. |
^^i believe it's poor home training. That's the result. Poorly trained kids don't only turn out to be nuisance to their parents only but to the society at large. |
usermane: Quite interesting. The bone of contention here is Girls just want to be considered with notable regard, they want their feelings and trust 2 b respected.and you'd be her "mugu". Don't be deceived, girls don't even know what they want. They say one thing and do another. It's common happening to see a girl running after a guy who treats her like trash while the nice guy by the corner willing to treat her like a queen is not even given a chance. I think they're are quite confused. |
Emotional abuse>>>Physical abuse. U ladies are no saints or victims like u want everyone to believe. |
slimyem: Naija men...it will do you well to learn from this dog ocan you, with a bold face, honestly say that Naija women deserve such loyalty and devotion? |
Man U, lol. Get ready to be destroyed. As bad as Arsenal looks, the look better to progress than mancheats |
One of my colleagues is an OAU first class graduate. The guy is really good and we, in fact, nicknamed him "the encyclopedia". He was recently at the who wants to be a millionaire where he won 2 mill. He is, indeed, a good ambassador of that school. |
Why not Sanusi/Soludo or Soludo/Sanusi lolzzz |
I'm sure If he had listened to all the Pessimists screaming "there's no job in Naija" "u must get connection before u get job" daily on NL, he wouldn't have applied for those jobs in the first place. Congrats |
nollywood20: Who started the first problem?thread closed |
ilugunboy: Really..nothing funny making pun comments at dead people.... yasaa: Will you please stop that crap and show some respect to the death? Death is a calamity. It doesn't end with the afflicted individuals. It didn't start with them. Nigerians like making silly jokes at the death of leaders. Not a good habit. The dead deserves our respect. So Brothers and sisters! Let us respect the dead. No doubt, we have problem with our leaders. But with death everything ends. Let's wait for our turn, it cant be far away.I don't think anyone here is making fun of the death. This joke of a thread and the op are just getting the response they deserve. |
Messi>Maradonna>Pele>Ronald Di Lima>Zidane>Ronaldinho (CR7 and JJ don't even deserve to be in the same sentence with those players) |

My_Time: There is no basis for comparison. If not for Federal Character and regional bias cum sentiments, SLS would not have been the CBN governor all thanks to the late Yar adua. Most strong world economies have Phd economic scholars running their apex banks... Soludo is far better and more qualified truth be told. Soludo talks less and is calm and calculated but SLS just talks too much (remember "the empty vessel makes the loudest noise"... No insults meant please) I rest my case..oh yeah Soludo is indeed quiet. He definitely kept quiet when the Ibrus were busy stealing the people's money. |
