Connected1: I After some months she came to apologize and Well, what do I know, but I now find it hard to trust women because they would rather put you in pains just so they could relief themselves of their mistakes, they don't take responsibility for any of their wrong actions, there's always someone to receive the blame. Such a repulsive character trait. I mean fair enough humans are greatly flawed and do make mistakes from time to time. But, women, rather than admit to it will prefer to double down and ruin someone else's life just to cover up. Exactly what the mom of the girl in the Chrisland sex scandal was trying to do until the video came out. Could have ruined the boys. I actually think the word "empathy" doesn't exist in women's dictionary. |

She will only pull you into emotional bullshit where you end up bantering snide remarks and insults that's where she's gradually dragging you to. I think the idea is to call them out on their bullshiit, not really to "beat" them. You'll find they try to silence men who do that using snide remarks and all sorts of labels aim at blackmail. Sane and reasonable folks always see through that, though. |

Family › Re: Jos/plateau State Resident by Arsenate(m): 2:51pm On Apr 05, 2022 |
Pros:
Low cost of living; housing, food items and transportation are relatively cheap.
Weather; cooler temperatures than what you find in other states in Nigeria. You won't have use for air conditioning most times of the year. Gets really cold in December through to January.
Social life; decent. Good number of hangout spots, bars, and clubs. The town is very cosmopolitan so you are gonna meet people of all tribes and religion. You should be able to find a group that you can fit in.
Cons:
Security; not so fantastic. The town has suffered from reccuring ethno-religious crisis. If you must live there, your best bet is to secure an accommodation in an area dominated by others who share your religious beliefs.
Job opportunities; rather poor. Should only be a problem if you don't have a job waiting for you.
Have to say though, Jos is one of the best towns I've ever lived in in this country. I have fond memories of that place. |

Tallesty1: Why are you people shying away from the truth simply because it was a woman, his mother.
If what the OP said about the woman is true then she owe him and his siblings an apology. In sane clime, government suppose don collect the kids from her because she's an abusive parent.
Do you know the psychological and emotional damage she's done to these children? Do you even know how abusive people are raised?
He said in his post that he doesn't have friends, he doesn't trust people. Do you think these things happened naturally? Dude is trying to protect himself from people like his mother. He's damaged.
Nothing will happen to the OP if he doesn't apologize, though I will advise him to. Do you think the father will keep quiet if the wife isn't as the son described her?
It's people like you and Iya whatever at the front page that make it difficult for African parents to apologize.
The woman is a bad mother, I won't say she deserves what she got(it should have come from someone else) but I don't blame the Op.
You need to live with a toxic person to be able to have an informed opinion on this issue. I can bet you that family section women totally understand your point of view and in fact agree with you. If the op substituted "mother" with "father" in his post, I'm damn sure one of them would have written the exact same thing you just wrote. It's the Sisterhood; always looking to defend their fellow women even if the victims are defenceless children. The blatant dishonesty is just shameful, tbh. |

Seunfretty: ...to be sincere i tink partey has more to his game in that DM position than True. Partey is only just slightly worse than Ndidi in the defensive aspects of the game, but he is so much better in literally everything else. Better passer and "progressor" of the ball, and far more press resistant. Both great talents that Africa should be proud of. |

Just finding out Ndidi will be absent for the game. Partey on the other hand has been in demonic form of late, ffs.
The Super Eagles have much better players than the black stars in most positions, but as an Arsenal fan, I've seen Partey single handedly dominate some of the best midfields in the EPL the past few weeks, no jokes. And now, our only player who is about equal with him will be absent. Odds on us qualifying just got a little worse, tbh. |

Even if you're religious, should that be an excuse to lose your sense? They usually only remember to thank their god when someone else is in trouble. They see a sick person, an accident victim; perfect time to spout out their bullshiit of being grateful to god, to the hearing of the sufferer. Almost like they are celebrating the predicaments of others, the idiots. |
