Fast forward 1 week after, we were chatting and next thing she said was, buy lunch for me, I was like who be this one.. I had the money to buy lunch for her but red flag for me is all these girls that bill too much.. I just told her I can’t buy lunch for her.. this is a girl that’s using iPhone 11 and I’m managing my Xsmax oo..

So today I was scheduled to write a written test from 10am and submit my 11: 30am..brethren I wrote the test via email and when it was time for me to submit, my response I wrote said file corrupted..11:30 passed I couldn't submit, I was just crying and crying. Before I could fix it,it was 12: 09p.m, and it was stated clearly that any response submitted after 11:30 am will be automatically disqualified. I have cried my eyes out..I am so sad and devastated. Look, Lagos is not growing, I cannot see any substantial developmental progress since 1991, TBH. Only Fashola tried to make some progress happen.

People ask then why is everyone trooping to Lagos?
Why is Lagos the commercial capital?
The answer is simple, Nigeria's economy is hugely dependent on importation, which means that every business wants access to the sea. The fact that apapa and tincan seaports are the only functioning seaports in Nigeria means that Businessws will always choose Lagos to cut of cost of logistics.
Logistics is crazy in Nigeria, in my company, it's cost us more to transport our products from Apapa port to our warehouse in Ibeju-Lekki than transporting them from Taiwan to Apapa port. It's crazy, every business owner knows this. Imagine if our warehouse is in onitsha.
Open up other seaports in Warri, Calabar, onne and port Harcourt, you will see Lagos economy shrink, businesses will spread out other parts of the country.

All these is making it seem like Lagos is working but it's not. The amount Lagos government generate doesn't commensurate with the kind of infrastructure on ground. They are basking on the effect of business influx to create a charade that Lagos is working. A small city in South Africa that doesn't have as much money as lagos will beat Lagos infrastructural wise on every level.

This might sound funny but there's this acquaintance of mine , my coursemate who also became my roommate , she's a lady like me very slim and tall , she has a bad habit of farting loudly literally every 5 minutes , she acts like it's a normal thing , everybody farts but hers is chronic , walking ,sleeping , peeing , eating even when I was eating one time
When I tell her she says it's not her fault that she's a human being

It's like she's leaking gas , is that healthy ? Am I the unhealthy one and I don't know?
It's funny when someone farts out of the blue once in awhile but it's not funny anymore when it's every second of the day
Apart from this habit she's a neat person , she also has this disturbing handwashing ritual , made most if us assume that she had OCD but this farting thing is irritating everyone , even if it doesn't have any smell the sound just turns you off

Sometime ago(a very long time ago) I went for night class at social science lecture hall and as usual students were everywhere doing their business. Some were reading, some were flirting around. Some where joking, while some were busy with their gadgets. But there was this group of people who only come to sleep in night classes. Within this group are the sub group of "Night crawlers", "the Lord cometh like a theif at night", " the real owners of your gadgets"........and the name goes on.

I had just recovered from a painful experience of loosing my new phone to these guys at night class..... How it happened is still a mystery. I prayed God to apprehend these guys or rather still cause them to drop off my sim card somewhere around.... But No!!!. After a little while I ate and digested courage and moved on with my life having learnt not to be foolish or stupid again. What I didn't know was that I will be tested. Tested on an entirely alien habit to see if my integrity's foundation is solid enough.

At social science lecture hall an extension socket was connected and many students were trying to put in their phones for charging then I saw a guy dragging my spot with me. As a gentle and straight faced guy I stared at him and almost immediately he apologized and went to get another place. And now space don finish, that guy was now charging close to my phone, those that weren't lucky went away, those that were lucky were happy and everywhere returned to normalcy..... The guy charging close to me went out to only heaven knows and didn't come back.

The electricity supply was cut( nepa take light) and people were scrambling for their gadgets. Now this situation can be likened to buying OK clothes from the market(Okrika) because anyone could claim any gadget there and wouldn't be noticed except if the owner is there. I picked up my phone and left. Moments letter someone was asking "who get this phone". I immediately recognized it to be that guy's and I stood up and collected it. Many things were running through my mind now. "What if this guy comes and starts asking for his phone, people will point at me and if I did say yes I was helping him to keep it I would be called a liar and a thief and then the jungle justice(beating) will be carried out". After some thoughts I decided to leave that hall for another one. At this new hall I charged the phone for him and went through the phone (abeg nobody should judge me. the phone was a very fine phone)..... Omo wetin I see inside this guy phone was shocking... na so so porn full am but I did watch any of them....


10:00 am
I got a call on his phone and when I picked it the guy was begging heaven and hell.. I was just laughing at him... I told him not to worry that I'm not a thief and I promised to give him back the phone. Date, time and venue was set and I told him not to come with anyone. No be me una go carry out mob action on.....

9:00 pm
I got to the venue and we exchanged pleasantries, then I started to scold him of his action. He apologized and I gave him the phone. Oga was surprised when he asked if I wanted anything as compensation but I said NO!!!!... I just told him that he should do to others this good I did to him. He was so surprised �.....

When I was walking to night class I was just asking God why someone like myself didn't pick up my own phone and returned it.

But do you know something, Nothing would have happened to me if I did it, but I chose not to...... Omo the decision was very tough oo but I decided not to...

And sincerely people like me don dey finish for this country....

Nairalanders I need advice. I've been dating this girl for more than a year. But I have couple of challenges:

1) She doesn't like to visit me except for a few times. She claims to be a virgin and says I might be tempted. That I need to pay her bride price before we can do all those. At times I wonder if there's something she's hiding.

2) Each time I try to break up, she sheds tears and involves her family members sometimes to beg me.

The heading sounds funny and I trust Nairalanders to take a swipe at me. But this has been disturbing me and I want you guys to help me look into this matter.

In 2021, I came across a young lady. She is beautiful and she has the right curves in appropriate dimensions. I liked her instantly. We exchanged contacts and we started talking.
