MadamExcellency: Ignorance is not bliss. If it's not a problem, make provision for the thieves. Print enough to include the billions that will be stolen. Problem solved.
When you don't understand economics and don't know the capability of your country, you begin to compare yourself to destruction. Go check How much america printed last year and their is nothing like comparison here, iam just saying nigeria as a country should find a peculiar way of solving it's problem. Too much adam's Smith theory is killing africa, you should ask yourself where China got the money to modernise their economy and become the export giant they are right now. Too much woke is killing you. It is apparent that this level of discussion is beyond you. |

aswani: Because various ex presidents have played the populist card and artificially held the naira up when they should have allowed it to find its level and started programsocally that will ensure it starts moving in the right direction.
If any of the PDP presidents and Bubu had decided to not throw money senselessly to hold the Naira up, we would have had a turnaround by now and come out of the pain required for that to happen.
If you must respect President Tinubu for one thing, and I didn't and doubt I'll ever vote for him, in his first term he is taking the hard decisions. Other presidents have their eyes focused on winning re-election and once they do, don't care anymore because they are not going for re-election after that. Defending your currency is not totally bad if it is done with a Good objective especially if you are diversing but It is always different with our country. Corruption is the problem here!! There are measures to counter the rising naira, Diaspora remittance can solve this problem by atleast 60% if harnessed properly. |

You're talking as if I'm the president or the cbn governor or a government official. Why quote me, you think iam here to score political points or you think i can't figure out propaganda when i see one. That point makes the whole write up look like one. |

Another one!! Like say all these agencies n their predictions dey feature for betting sites, i for dey cashout steady!! Forecasting based on audio reform is tantamount to failure. First they should increase minimuim wage by atleast 300% to counter the effect of fuel subsidy removal and floating of naira so That the purchasing power of an average nigerian will be at par with the current economic situation.

CatchMeIfUCanMO: I doubt if you understand the news/report sef.
Naira is officially 900/$ or so, the report is saying it will officially weaken to 1171/$, that means naira will further depreciate na.
The report is using the official rate and not the black market or parallel market rate.
So, how is it a propaganda? They where forecasting 3.4 percent increase in your economy with the high inflation rate that is yet to be tamed, that is pure propaganda because there is no proper indices to support that apart from the increase in crude oil sale which is yet to see the light of the day. With the high Insecurity i wonder how that will be achieved. |

OgThanos: Hmmm.. Why is kidnapping not common in developed countries.. 1. No much of hiding space. Abandoned forests used either as farms or factories 2. Their security and tracking systems are top notch... After the kidnappers get their ransom and ensure the victims are released.. They will certainly be tracked. It may take days or weeks. But they will certainly be tracked down one by one.. that way, the odds of reoccurrence of such events is reduced.. Who told you no hiding place there, the landmass of the forest in Canada might be bigger than nigeria not to talk of Australia. Prior to the militancy in Niger delta you hardly hear of kidnapping so has nothing to do with vegetation or whatever. The whole thing starts from bad governance, when your leaders are cluelesss!! |

christejames: Keep contradicting yourself, you said Mansa Musa built one of the earliest tertiary institutions in the world in Timbuktu but here you are disparaging Africa that if not for western education we would still be in dark. Don't you think the western world copied from Africa? And if Africa has been left untouched by greedy sojourn of the whites on the continent, Africa would have gradually developed her education for the better?
You said Africans don't have their letters and figures? What an insult to the great Amharic people of Ethiopia, the ancient Egyptians scholars and the people of old eastern Nigeria who had the insibidi ideoglyph.
Let this wokeness not obfuscate you from the achievements of ancient Africans as abtly written by Walter. Please recommend things fall apart for him to read and understand why it was written in the first place, the writer of the acclaimed book wrote from his own perspective which is very close to the truth. |

How do you think obi the okuzwu killer got 6 million votes with Atiku.
The same place you people said he failed he got 500k and your almighty Lagos 900k
So everyone who voted according to your Ronu statistics is foolish including ben Bruce who actually made a video for his people to copy peter.
