But I don't think rochas is owing any civil servant maybe Abagworo will have something to say about this particular news. this kind of news simply means capital projects meant to uplift life and economy of a state is halted since payment of salary is already a problem..i dont have a problem with rochas' politics but his administrative abilities.how come you hardly comment these days? |

obailala: Arrant Rubbish!
What has age got to do with anything?... The number 1 and biggest problem we have in Africa today is the diabolic greed and corruption of our leaders who don't mind if the nation roasts as long as they make their money. After all it was a very old man that transformed Singapore from a third world slum to a first world country. We need to understand that there have been only 2 categories of leaders in Nigeria from 1960 till date; the good and the bad. Age, ethnicity or religion has got absolutely nothing to do with. We have been unlucky to have too many bad people ruling us for so long and that is the reason for our backwardness. Until we collectively agree and identify this true cause of our problems, we can never move forward.
The second biggest problem we have today in Africa (Nigeria specifically) is the cluelessness of the masses (especially the youths) to properly diagnose what the problem really is. We keep misdiagnosing the problem to be the northerners or the south-westerners or the Easterners or the Niger-Deltans or the colonial masters (that left 55 years ago) etc. We also find it comfortable to blame one religion or the other or we blame the military or we blame the age of our leaders for our backwardness. Whatever the case, all we do is blame, blame and blame yet we always fail to blame the right people. love your contributions but I think lee kwu quon of Singapore was in his 50s when he actually took over |

uduokirika1: Buddah my esteemed respect for you is continually dwindling with the rate at which you use the word 'clannish' at any slightest provocation!!!
Using European clubs as a yard stick to comparing our clubs isn't in the best interest. People support teams base on several interests and not by compulsion, nobody is forcing you to support Gabros FC/Ifeanyi Uba United after all those of us that support foreign clubs don't have any direct affiliate to the said club yet we sacrifice soo much for the club.
Mr. Buddahmonk Ifeanyi Uba renaming a club is not happening for the first time, let me take you back to memory lane; The Oriental Derby then in the Nigerian League in the 70s was between Rangers of Enugu and Spartans of Owerri!!!! But in the 80s Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu acquired The Spartans and renamed it Iwuanyawu Nationale and just after one season They became the all time champions and till date held the only record of winning the league back to back 4times. kano pillars and Enyimba has just done a tripple but yet to beat the mark.
Now currently we have clubs like Giwa fc & ABS Fc (Abubakar Bukola Saraki) that bears the names of the owners.
Tomorrow If Dangote Buys Arsenal and decides to rename it to his name go stand for road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i doubt dangote can rename arsenal if he eventually buys the club..such things do not happen in those climes |
Politics › Re: Abia Election Fall Out: INEC Staff Arrested With Sensitive INEC Materials. by asha80(m): 12:36pm On May 06, 2015 |
onyfrank: This Op u can lie o.
here is the latest in abia state. 'The plot by Gov. Theodore Orji of Abia state to compromise the Assistant Inspector- Gener al (AIG) of Police, Zone 9, Umuahia, Mr. Usman Gwary, to release unconditionally the six members of staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), arrested on Tuesday in Umuahia for allegedly attempting to take away seven card readers and result sheets from the commission's office has been uncovered. An impeccable source at Zone 9 said that the governor had offered ''irresistible' ' and ''mouth watering'' sum of money to the AIG ''to release the suspects and kill the report.'' The source said on the condition of anonymity that the governor was ''jittery'' that the arrested persons ''might spill the milk'' and expose the way the governorship result was manipulated to favour the PDP candidate against the candidate of APGA, Dr. Alex Otti. The source further said that ''it is not clear yet whether the AIG has accepted the money to kill the case because the money can be paid into the bank without my knowledge.'' It was gathered that the governor personally went to meet the AIG in his quarters to solicit his ''immediate intervention before the matter would get to the press.'' It was learnt that the card readers and the result sheets were deployed in Obingwa Local Government Area, where a whooping 82,240 votes were credited to PDP as against 1,952 votes for APGA, even when elections did not take place in the area. Sources at INEC said that no card reader was used for accreditation in Obingwa, Osisioma, Ugwunagbo and Isialangwa North Local Government Areas during the governorship poll. Meanwhile, confessional statements by the arrested INEC staff showed that the card readers were being taken away so that ''ICT experts can manipulate them to support the number of votes ''criminally'' allocated to PDP governorship candidate in the election.'' The list of arrested INEC staff includes the Head of ICT Dept., Engr. Herbert Ejiofor, Mr Nnamdi Nwabuko, who was driving the materials out of INEC office at the time of his arrest, Amauche Ebi Dike, Charles Mba, Nkem Ichita, Uche Enyioma, Innocent Dire, all members of staff of the ICT department and the Secretary to the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Esther David.v where is the source of this particular information? |

Udmaster: Ikpeazu don enter one chance with Ochendo Global.. Ochendo played the Abia vs Ngwa tactics so well.. If u tink say Ikpeazu go liberate himself from Ochendo global, the master rigmacian. Then wake up and stop dreaming.. OCHENDO GLOBAL. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ikpeazu can extricate himself if tribunal nullifies elections of ochendo and ikuku and order for free election which I am sure ochendo would lose fair and square as he would be without state power and security to rig(it is no longer pdp in charge os center? The question would be if the ngwa part of abia central would want to reeelect ochendo for show of appreciation for emergence of ikpeazu or see reason to finally clamp down on ochendo..with this link I forsee the former http://dailypost.ng/2015/04/26/ukwa-ngwa-leaders-pay-thank-you-visit-to-governor-orji/ |

IsraeliAIRFORCE: As at today, APGA Assemblymen with certificate of return from INEC is 10 in number while PDP is 12 pending the determination of 2 seats
As you can see, even if Ikuku becomes the Speaker, Dr Ikpeazu will use his countrymen in the Assembly and the 11 APGA Assemblymen to sack him or render him impotent that seems balanced but just pray that election tribunal cancels ikuku and ta orji's election for a fresh election since the instrumetality of state security and influence will no longer be in their hands.. |
Politics › Re: Ikpeazu Bans Courtesy Visits by asha80(m): 11:16am On May 04, 2015 |
IsraeliAIRFORCE: As we speak they should be 11 in number if not the misplaced certificate of return given fraudulently to PDP guy instead of the APGA guy that was declared winner.
T. A. Orji can't control Ikpeazu - Fact first how many lgas did apga win or should I say certificate of return issued to? Secondly with ikuku in the house and orji's shadow lurking everywhere there is nothing to show that orhi has not already checked ikpeazu..the normal talks of an ngwa man cannot be controlled is mere rhetorics when politics here is concerned |
Politics › Re: Ikpeazu Bans Courtesy Visits by asha80(m): 11:05am On May 04, 2015 |
IsraeliAIRFORCE: Back to the topic, the next is to extricate himself from T. A. Orji's reflection by forming a strong caucus with his men and APGA Assemblymen to make sure Ikuku (T. A. Orji's son) is irrelevant in the scheme of things.
A great step in the right direction. These cartels should not be allowed near government house let alone be involved in decision making.
Bravo Dr Ikpeazu you think ikpeazu can bite the fingers that fed him? Apga assemblymen that won their lgas are they more than 3? It seems your expectations are way over the mark |

Abagworo: I will like all PDP States to experience dearth of federal presence under Buhari like Jonathan did to Imo. We sacrificed so much for success of APC despite the gang up against us. Most federal projects in Southeast went to Anambra and Enugu under Jonathan which means most projects under Buhari should be in Imo, Edo and Rivers. abia did not see fg projects under gej and I don't see why rivers should benefit from buhari since rivers is going to be a pdp govt |
