jmichlins: there's a change in the voting pattern of Nigeria but we still divided between religion and ethnic lines. The reason rochas won was because buhari had already being declared the winner. There's a campaign of calumny against ngige from every quarter you are wrong rochas would have won when gmb was declared winner or not in a free elections..if you know Imo politics well you would know this. jmichlins: Guy you truly understand it but this is Nigeria where he who has power takes it all. Once a party is in power to wrestle it back is always issue. Until Nigeria practices true federalism, the likes of Yoruba will keep benefitting from the policy because they follow the tide and never lay all eggs in a basket. I prefer to eat from the pot where the food is being cooked than wait until it's my turn to cook Yorubas have always being more in opposition from independence to now so your following the tide comment does not hold water |

Ijaws does not represent the entire SS dimwit.
Why was Ijaws excluded in my write up? They were excluded cos they are still nursing their son's wound and naturally expected to throw some tantrums here and there. However, 4th class citizens; the Igbos seized that emotional moment and sold their everlasting bitterness to Ijaws.
Let me give you senseless and emotion ridden Igbos some clue as to where you are heading to with your fake sudden relationship with SS. In the last couple of days, Urhobos have started blowing Pipelines, what does that tell you? Think you fools
So you fools expect Edos, Itsekiris and Urhobos in the same country with Igbos while their natural histories and cousins are attached to the West.

BuddahMonk: Obiano is nothing but a f00l, he is floating another transport company prolly to give Aguleri people more jobs and loot our commonwealth. What happened to ANIDS buses and consolidation of the sucess, he is just duplicating offices to spite Obi. Serious i hate this government and their pomposity and arrogancy, Obiano and his clannish kinsmen are too pompous to believe that they have conquered Anambra State, whether Obiano and his handlers like it or not Pita Obi we know, even if Pita Obi endorses a goat tomorrow i will vote the person because i know the so called Obiano is on self-destruct, a clannish, pompous, arrogant and flamboyant person.
i have been following things happening in the state for a while and am losing interest in this government, this government is wasteful and flamboyant.
He is just moving everywhere ravishing money and making useless and unsolicited comments with his bullish wife. You went to India and bought Tata Bus instead of getting from Innoson, states like Enugwu and FCT are using Innoson buses, Obiano will fail in Anambra and am seeing that happen because he is too proud to be corrected, he is too flamboyant to be prudent in resource management, i don't want to know who is deceiving him and who is not but i know he is clannish and pompous.
lets see how he will be kicked out, let him continue to bite the fingers that fed him.
useless government can't say I am aware of most of what you wrote but I am beginning to see the pompous aspect of him..however I always felt that anambra people on the average love pompous people |

investnow2013: Anambra Floats New Mass Transit Firm
Anambra State Government has floated a new mass transport company called Anambra Mass Transit Limited. The firm is set to start operations with 21 TATA buses imported from India.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the new transport outfit, Mr. Goddy Nnagbogu told THISDAY in Awka after signing an understanding to brand the vehicles with a branding company, Panta Rei International, that the state Governor, Chief Willie Obiano floated the company to address the challenges created by the now moribund Transport Company of Anambra State (TRACAS) which virtually depended on franchise for existence. Panta Rei will help source interested companies to display their products and or advertise same on the body of the vehicles.
“In the face of these challenges, Anambra State Government wanted an international, model transport system and had to create the mass transit company to take care of transport affairs in the state. We have started with 21 long TATA buses. The transport system was created to house the moribund TRACAS and Anambra Integrated Development Strategy (ANIDS) buses viable and productive,” he said.
The plan, he said, that all of them would be part of the new mass transit company.
The long buses he said are to shuttle all the 21 routes in the state’s three senatorial zones including but not limited to Awka-Onitsha, Awka–Nnewi, Awka-Ekwulobia, Awka–Otuocha, Awka- Ihiala and Uli, Onitsha-Ihiala and Uli, all within the state.
According to him, more buses are being expected to go into other routes, adding that the preference for TATA buses after a proper feasibility study is that they are strong and easy to maintain because of availability of spare parts.
He said that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with Panta Rei International was to brand the vehicles, and then attract companies to advertise on them.
According to him, it was another source of revenue for the company.
“By next week our vehicles will appear in different out looks. Panta Rei will brand our vehicles with different companies like Airtel, Hero Beer, banks and even brand our tickets and project us to the outside world”, he said.
He added that the fare per route is reduced by 50 percent in all routes. A representative of Panta Rei International, Mr. Peter Nwagbogu told THISDAY that they were happy and eager to work with the mass transit company because it is a progressive minded organisation. Tata buses? |

ak47mann: Anambra State Govt in Partnership With Innoson Group
"Our objective here today is to expand the vision of one man so that it becomes the vision of a people. "We have resolved to avoid the mistakes of the past when we lacked the foresight to harness the gifts and talents of today for the progress and prosperity of tomorrow. "The partnership we are cementing today is an important step in exploiting INDUSTRIALIZATION, which is one of the Four Pillars of my administration’s economic blueprint. "The other three are Agriculture, Trade & Commerce and Oil & Gas". These were words of Governor Willie Obiano when the trio of Anambra State Government, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company (IVM) and the Federal Polytechnic Oko launched the Bridge Project in which the students and teachers of the technical colleges around the state began learning the intricacies of designing automobile bodies and other elements of automobile engineering. In the partnership which will last for 10 years, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company offers its auto production line for the benefit of the study, while their crop of auto engineers, designers and technicians devote time in teaching and mentoring the engineering students. Also under the partnership, lecturers from the Federal Polytechnic, Oko will support the Innoson group with their own expertise and theoretical applications.
The presence of these lecturers will heighten the academic and conceptual content of the programme and ensure a balanced and wholesome experience. In the first phase of the Bridge Project, 493 students drawn from the 11 technical colleges in Anambra state are participating in the pilot programme. If successful then Anambra may well be on its way to become the first in the country to own a completely indigenous automobile manufacturing and assembly plant. You will recall that the world bank under the State Education Programme Investment Project (SEPIP) committed the sum of $2.1m to the project. In another developement, the state government has signed a $150m agreement with UDIPPCO for the construction of an 80 megawatts of electricity to feed the growing industrial city of Nnewi. is it strictly for nnewi? |

cjrane: One thing Anambra must ban is the siting of commercial motor parks along the two major federal highways (Enugu-Onitsha & the Onitsha - Owerri expressway). Motor parks just spring up anyhow on these two roads defeating any attempt to decongest them and make traffic free flowing at all times. there should be big designated parks for them at outskirts of cities and towns |

i blame the briber more than the 'bribee' because some times even, these bribees are blackmailed into accepting the bribes. forget yarns abeg both the briber and bribee are fucking corrupt eod..if one is straightforward he is straightforward no matter the bribe..it I also the harsh economic situation that makes those your so called friends enter yahoo and some guys stealing..you think is some of these developed countries security forces are not offered extremely tempting bribes? .if the the security and regulatory forces cannot refuse the bribes then they should look for another job as they are not ready to the jobs they are doing |

the worst thing you would do in aba is buy Eva wine in a shop. be sure that that wine is concoction. that those guys wanted her dead is immaterial because it comes with the territory...she had a job to do which she did..in the forties Italian mafia guys would also eliminate you if a security official tried to expose their activities..the regulatory bodies that collect bribes are they not corrupt?why should they collect bribes if they are not corrupt too?if you are straightforward you will reject bribes from those type of guys no be so?..i see bo reason blaming the briber while leaving out the bribee(if there is anything like that) |

Having served as the former governor of Abia state who is widely recognized as the best the state has ever had as well as serving as a chieftain in the leading political party of the federal republic of Nigeria, you don't need a wizard or a soothsayer to tell you this is the qualified man for this post.
