Camsydarling: You are getting it all wrong, my dear. Okezie leads with Over 80,000 votes in the overall LGA results. Remove the result of those rigged areas (Isialangwa North, Osisioma, and Obingwa), you will see that APGA leads. The truth is that with 14 LGA results that had no issues, ALEX is winning PDP( ie 152,642 votes for APGA against 115,377 votes for PDP). The difference there is 37,265. Pls don't compare Imo state Inconclusive election with that of Abia state because they are based on different reasons. Thanks

the purpoted votes from osisioma is like pdp 47000 and apga 1700 and obingwa is 82000 for pdp and 5000 or so for apga..i cant remember isiala ngwa north now

Enyi Abaribe with Ochendo on Sunday stormed INEC Office to force and influence APGA Victory from the voted results and when they seem to have gained to be announced winner, Alex Otti call on Orji Uzor Kalu, OUK then call on Gen. Ihejirika, Dangote and Engr Arthur Eze of Anambra and Arthur Eze call on Willie Obiano the Governor they are presently there at Umuahia to make sure APGA's Victory is declared! Obooy.. I love this no sentiment!! Who can these who is who in Nigeria Men and Brethren just Relax... Abia must be Ottified!!! #GodPunishDevil.

If osisioma,isiala ngwa north and obingwa are cancelled then it is apga that is leading but if it is only osisioma and some polling units here and there then I am afraid it is pdp that is leading
Collynzo9: What you heard is the Taraba result, that is where PDP is leading with over 50 000. In Abia, APGA is leading with 33 000, while total number of registered voters in cancelled areas is over 400 000.

harmless011: Please disregard any information from the Okezie Ikpeazu's PDP and the Alex Otti's APGA, both of which are claiming victory in the Abia State governorship polls. What happened today at the INEC state headquarters Umuahia was that Peter Obi, Orji Uzor Kalu and some APGA bigwigs, together with some PDP bigwigs, were all at the INEC office, discussing with the Abia State Resident Electoral Commissioner over the plight of the results in Obingwa, Isialangwa north and Osisioma local govt areas. You will recall that from the result paraded around, Obingwa had more than Eighty two thousand votes, Isialangwa north had more than nineteen thousand votes while osisioma had more than forty four thousand votes, all in favour of PDP. Today, it appears that Jega was called by those stalwarts, and Alhaji Dangote also called the REC, and it was directed that the results of the three questionable Local Government Areas be kept in abeyance and that the votes of Ohafia LGA be counted. The votes in Ohafia are yet to be announced. Information reaching us shows that the INEC boss, Attahiru Jega is displeased with the conduct of the Abia state REC and has directed her to hold all actions. Stalemate is the word that can be used to describe the situation in Abia state now. In Aba, both the Ikpeazu camp and the Otti camp are jubilating, each claiming victory but the truth is that none of them is victorious yet because INEC is yet to decide on what to do over the three questionable results from the three local govts. That is why right now, none of the governorship candidates has been declared winner. If the three local govts are eventually cancelled as requested by those APGA stalwarts, then a re-run election would be conducted in those three local govts. If the results are not cancelled, it is uncertain what the result would be because Ohafia result is yet to be announced. However, with the Kano results in osisioma, Isialangwa and Obingwa, it would be doubtful if Ohafia can unsettle the result. For now, stalemate is the word as INEC has ceased all actions over the three LGs and is yet to decide what next to do.

I have to quickly admit that I am not aware (until now) of the behind-the-scene activities of Otti you have mentioned here, and so are most of the electorates. Unfortunately, a knowledge of this would make little difference to a majority of the electorates who would still wordlessly wave off Okezie's candidature as an indirect tenure elongation of Ochendo. Here, I believe Dr. Okezie should have given Ochendo a minimal appearance in his campaign, which is unlikely.
If we access them individually, Okezie would certainly come out tops, but it is difficult (if not stupid) to judge the candidates in isolation -- we have an underachieving Ph.D president -- and Dr. Okezie's alignment with Ochendo is too thick a cloud for people to see through, that's the problem. It will be impossible for the average (and uninformed) Abian to look at Dr. Okezie and not spot the nightmarish shadow of Ochendo looming at the background.

truth be told there was a whole lot of discrepancies in the elections with ballot box snatching,intimidations etc that even otti and the apc guy has called for the cancellation of this election..i am not holding my breath for these results posted here
Look people should not get their hopes too high...there were lots of ballot block snatching and discrepancies that happened during the elections....let us wait till those results from those areas starts flowing in

millionaireman: Orlu lga is the largest and most populated lga in Imo state. Results from there alone can change every equation. Owerri Municipal that is more populated is mainly strangers.
