Abagworo: Here's a public or corporate complex in VI. I would love to see a full stretch 2 to 10km of road dotted with strictly this kind of building in any of our Southeastern cities. We have the money to do it.not sure that is going to happen because of our cultural mindset. |
Abagworo: Yes and its true. Here are what I call Igbo houses.where is this? |
Abagworo: More like private building constructions. We have few public buildings in the Southeast.you are simply repeating what he said. |
are these reps kids? |
as far as ugwuh is in charge of tara then adani rice prject will come to fruition....he is the one in charge of ebony rice. |
ba7man: You no get point joor.i like it that you think that way. |
ba7man: All those projects i mentioned are being executed with the aim of preparing the various states for the future.like i said media has a way of decieving you guys....it is not a matter of writing long epistles. |
nothing wrong with what she said about jonathan but adding 'any means necessary' is where she got herself into trouble....not sure she knows the history of this country well.....funnily she is behaving like the people she is criticizing. |
ba7man: See these ones here talking about breaking one Northern/Yoruba hegemony.media has a way of confusing you guys. |
berem: what is ngwori?are you sure you went to imsu asking me what ngwori is?there are other biz that can thrive or are thriving in owerri but you cannot beat the return of profit in hotel biz in owerri otherwise. |
berem: These hotels springing up in every nook and cranny of Owerri is becoming annoying. Its not as if Owerri is a tourist centre. What really attracts people to lodge in hotels in the city? The construction of hotels should be banned and let people divert their resources in other sectors.there is no stopping building of hotels in owerri because it is lucrative...attraction?ngwori simple. |
ugochukwu emezue how is the infrastructure in aba that t a orji wants to build an airport?are you not ashamed? |
abagworo not sure what you meant by obasanjo has repented. |
phantom: what we need in the east is regional integration.we should put heads together for our advancement.the country has nothing in store for us.lets not hold our breaths.we can make something out of nothing.we ve done it before and we can do it again.my unhappiness is that we have become nigerianised.we have sworn not to help ourselves.we just seat and wait and pray that successive governments look our way(e.g GEJ).our very own innoson is struggling.have we made any plans to patronise him? What stops the south east governors from coming together and deciding to use his vehicles as official cars? We are on a long thing.anambra states goverment patnronizes innoson like hell while coal city buses enugu uses innoson buses...moreover orizu, the young, guo and auto star remember patronizes them too. |
Delafruita: progress is slow on the road because the FG ensured the second tranche of the world bank loan was delayed by almost 2yearsso in essence lagos needs loan to build the road. |
berem: So what stops Anambra State government from asking for permission to construct the new bridge? Unless the FG doesn't want that to happen, that means they have no intention of fulfilling their promise. >do you whether they have asked but refused just asking?...why is everyone leaving out delta state here?or the bridge is not on both anambra and delta states soil? |
mike404: NWANNE NWATA NWANYI AFU AMUBEGI NWA OBUNA. AKWUNA KA ONO NA LAGOS AGBA.IKWESIRI IMA IHE UMU NWANYI ALA IMO NA ARU NA LAGOS... IBU ZI UMU AKAif you do not know how to talk just keep quiet. |
berem: I know of many federal projects which the LASG if handling now presently. The Lagos Badagry expressway is a good example. Do you want to tell me that Anambra state cannot single handedly handle the second niger bridge project on behalf of FG and get their money back? What happened to PPP? Doesn't it work any longer?states do not work on federal roads without permission...that is just the way it is...anambra state government have sought for permission to work on anambra end onitsha enugu expressway only to be given the bridgehead to upper iweka axis that has been completed and recently the amawbia amansea axis....if fg did not give lagos permission to do lagos badagry road(by the way progress is slow on this road) lagos would not have entered it. |
question us why did obasanjo copy that letter to the likes of ibb, danjuma etc?....for what purpose? |
wesley 80 i keep hearing that imo state has been blocked from collecting loans...i have searched for the story online but i have not seen it anywhere.....is there any link to the story? |
funnily enough yinka odumakim also said the same thing the op posted here about coordinated attacks on channels tv this morning.....there are also other revelations he made which makes me believe we forget things easily in this country. |
Eze Promoe: [color=crimson]It is a very welcome development. The traffic on the road should be reduced, hence the risk of road accidents is reduced on our roads.if you want to reduce traffic on roads in delta build rails not airports. |
majemedia i doff my hat to you....you have simply explain the different socio cultural economic systems btw the igbo and yoruba. |
phantom: my brother look at the bigger picture.you missed my point.a visionary leader would turn that state around to the extent that going cap in hand to the center every month would be out of the question.we as igbos should learn to look inwards and help ourselves.this country has nothing for us.qedok i see your point but the ordinary person has to change his orientation about tax. |
FreeGlobe: ^hehe if my posts are dumb your comments are enough to make seun shut down nairaland. |
phantom: why wont you celebrate him when his party is an extension of yours? Smh .anambra under this man appears to be all motion while stationery.his projects are not appealing.they look grossly substandard.doling not money is not what that state needs.that state needs a visionary leader.sadly peter is not that person.if anambra was were it should be,it would single handedly build that second niger bridge without batting an eyelid.why didn't rivers single handedly build the owerri/ph expressway? |
Okija_juju: Nwokem, welu ya nwayo.. Mu na gi ade' ese' okwu..well obiano has said he will continue that doling out money patnership with churches....so i guess it is safe to start hating him now. |
jusRadical: Don't mind those urchins. Ngige did nothing for Ogaru lga because he claimed that the did not vote for him. But look at Obi. He constructed from Uga junction to Atani. I heard that work is going on from Ekwusigo to Atani.it is the atani to ozubulu road. |
Okija_juju: www.nairaland.com/attachments/1462247_1450296_615048551892794_994937279_n_jpg985df63cc8551c75dfde95302583d2a0i wonder why they do that. |
KenGali: Please, given our erosion problem, isn't concrete based roads expensive? |
nwa.anambra:make slimghost no see this post. |
nothing wrong with a state goverment setting up its own anti corruption agency. |
