betterABIAstate: bros, there's hidden potential in Igbo land. At the age of 27, I had already identified and extracted a diuretic phytochemical in a very popular plant that can help manage hypertension. My brother who is a chemical engineer is working on a local drug synthesizer. The molecule is going through preclinical tests, the government of Nigeria is not helping at all coupled with the financial setbacks we have had in coming up with the drug synthesizing machine.
If I have the then government of Biafra, you think I wouldn't have gone far with all the preclinical tests? We may have dusted that part and even gone ahead to develop other drugs and machines because we know what we want but no fund, no functioning research institute, no facilities in the country.
Let me just hint you on the little contribution I can make if Biafra war should come again, I can developed biogenetically engineered microbes (which name i wont give here) that can degrade some particular metals, l know I will get a good platform to carryout the research because the fund is now available unlike the then Biafra (I'm already doing little things as regards that incase the war comes again). This time, you will see the full technological potential we posses.
Or just give us independence, lets plan ourselves, this country is annoying to me. Great mind u av there! But, its still not developed enough if u really think someone in SW, NE, NW, NC is not developing something comparable or better! U lost d last war not because of any tech inadequacies, but due to hunger! Achilles lost his life not because he couldn't fight or withstand war wounds, but he had his heels! Naija govt is not helping everybody, no marginalization there! Instead, get private sponsors and possibly develop ur dreams in ur homeland, create employment for ur teaming jobless youths, make igboland a tech destination. Start a race on ur terms, some might decide to race with u, or change direction! |

cstr15: Comparing America to yorubaland is funny. America is a nation of immigrants. Everybody is an American and owes their loyalty to America. Lagos is not a country of immigrants. It is an ethnic state. The people there don't owe it any loyalty neither does not confer any citizenship. The igbos as well as other ethnics there just wants to hustle and send the money home to build big houses in their villages. The rest of yorubaland is a docile fourth world enclave. The only other place there that has a bit of industrial activity is ogun state and is not even in the class of aba and Nnewi. Btw, America is the only real success story of strength in diversity. The rest of the developed world in Europe and Asia was built on the back of homogeneity and singularity of people and ideas. U said it right there! Big houses, but d source of d big houses are in yorubaland, creating employment and improving economic activities, all in yorubaland! Guy, I just want peace! The same way d US doesn't care ur part of d world, but just encourage ur potential is d same thing yorubaland does! I want to be able to go to any part of Naija n assume my investments are safe, my interests protected and my security guaranteed! When I hear my supposed brothers insisting on going their separate ways, after welcoming them in my home, its a betrayal! An Igboman n a Yorubaman in d UK, will be termed Nigerians and quite separate from Ghanians, we are blood brothers, birthed together. Demanding biafra is a rejection of d hand of fellowship, of brotherhood. If we are to av any beef, it should be btw us n d northerners, who av several times ejected us from their lands! I'm beginning to develop hatred for Igbos, d same way I will develop for a brother who inspite of opening my home and heart to, insists on remaining selfish, self-centered and ungrateful! Now he has found wealth, he now remembers he has a home he wants only for himself?! Instead of quietly migrating back home and developing biafra to a world destination, he is insisting on separating entirely?! Left to me, u can go, I always had brains now I've learnt ruthless biz acumen from u. I speak for myself, anyway! |

Nkem4040: Arrant nonsense and wicked envy! Go and read about Prof. Ezekwe and how Ibrahim Bagangida begged with him to head the Science and Technology ministry with hope he would transfer his Biafrran inventions to Nigeria. Lets go by your logic that french transfered Biaffra technology as you claimed out of envy, are they still transferring technology to the guys in Nnewi who can craft anything mechanical? Have you been to Nnewi? If you see heavy mechanical parts manufactured in Nnewi, you people will run mad. Did the french transfer technology to Innoson to manufacture aviation parts for Nigerian Air force? From no where you concocted this lie of french transference of technology out of the envy in you people...why are you people like this for God sake? If there was ever a transference of french technogy, I promise you, top western powers who supported Nigeria will know...they had intelligence, and yorubbba media would have written about it like there is no tomorrow...that has never happened. So pls stop this envy...IGBOS ARE NOT YOUR MATE AND NEVER WILL! True talk jare! How can Igbos be my mate? Ngozi123: Stop pretending that man was being anything other than a sadist when he made that statement. Just look at these two lines juxtaposed to each other, how can we live in peace when we have people like you who brazenly praise sadistic mass murderers like this. The worst thing is that the man proudly, and rather foolishly, boasts of killing innocent children, from both the Igbo and minority tribes and we still have people like you who come here to defend him. That makes you just as bad as him imo. I bet that you'll be condemning Assad's government for it's treatment of the Syrian people as well... Like you said, he was relatively comfortable, less so than other military leaders at the time but still comfortable compared to the average Nigerian. However, he was compulsory retired by Gowon shortly after the war, shunned in the decades of military rule that Nigeria had to endure and not given a proper state burial. To add insult to injury, even Ojukwu, a supposed traitor, was given that honour. With d kind of man he was, did u think he gave a hoot abt state burial?! If u read all; he said, "I didn't want this war, but I sure want to win it"! He was just doing his job! Same way another despot will do his, if or when any part of Naija decides to secede. KwaraRat: Less than 2months after he was sworn in, there were calls from several notable northern APC politicians calling for the suspension of the constitution in order for Buhari to do his magic.
And we also heard from that charlatan , Falana who declared that a sitting Governor can be arraigned before a military Tribunal and also subject to criminal prosecution while in office inspite of immunity clause.
What I have to say is that we must resist this tyrant in Aso Rock because if we give him the slightest chance he will steal our land and hand it over to his Fulani kinsmen, grant boko haram paid amnesty, declare NEDC using oil proceeds from the south to rehabilitate his bokos in the guise of reconstructing the ravaged NE.
These are just a few.
But the greatest danger lies ahead , for this tyrant and his legion of shameless supporters can easily force us to accept Buhari as life president in the nearest future. Amazingly enough, u could only label him a tyrant! Who do u think is more shameless: someone who supports a tyrant fighting corruption or someone who supports a man who claims stealing is not corruption? |
