I dont know how old u are, but from d little I can remember, foodstuffs were extremely cheap. Suya, peppersoup n fruits, are what u think as expensive meals in d 80s. I have mechanic friends, who claim to use sardine as sauce, for meals during apprenticeship in d 80s.
