What of Boro, oh Boro? Why is no one mentioning Middlesborough? i feel so sorry for them. they were so unlucky this season. I wish dem well. To the issue at hand, I am a Red Devil, but i hope dat come 2moro i can keep an eye on Boro. Everyone is just going on and on about Newcastle and Hull, and not mentioning the others. As regards Newcastle FC,for keeping Joey Barton, a violent, racist thug on their payroll is enough to make them deserve relegation Unserious pple, waking up at league finale (hiss)As for Hull City, i wish dem well. Let them have the courage to face Man Utd. the pressure is on Hull anyway. |
Tevez is so bitter he didn't even attend Man Utd's season closing awards Nite. he says that his agent shd not tell him anything about transfers concerning ManU for now. I dont know if it's exactly fair dat Man Utd has nothing to say until "Later in June" as the club officials said. It keeps the guy in the balance. ![]() |
Nice remark, bawomolo. Apt. |
Let me ask u guys a question: Can u get tired of a member of your immediate family with whom u live in d same house? If ur answer is "yes", then it is normal to lose interest in a r/ship with your wifey. If "no", then we have to re-examine the way we percieve a wife: As some partner in raising a family as part of your duties to society OR As your life partner, someone who u love and see as your anchor in life's journey-essentially, a new member of your immediate family. Different perceptions/attitudes will lead to different results. |
Man United, in my opinion, may need someone like Tevez, especially as the other recently-signed centre forward, Berbatov, is still trying to find his feet. Unless, there is another option, it might be a good idea to keep him around. But, for 32 million pounds?!!! is he worth that much? |
I prefer to drink Dano Milk. But i drink peak when Dano is not available. I don't know if anything is wrong with Cowbell Milk, but to be honest, I'd rather avoid it. But that's me. I took Cowbell many years ago (that time it was new in the market) and it was fine. So any one can drink that which he/she pleases. |
Not bad. it keeps getting better and better Nairaland rocks! keep up the good work, guys. |

I think the underlying problem is laziness on the part of these girls. I think it's that simple. Trust me, other problems abound in this our country. To me, a person who engages in prostitution only, is a far better person than someone who steals millions meant for infrastructural development, though both are bad. Once again, let us explore our true motives in this issue. are we giving the ladies healthy advice or are we just envious of some abysmally lazy girls who are doing that which we dare not, or cannot do? Nice entry, oyb. oyb: |
My fellow sports enthusiasts, do u think Carlos Tevez shd remain at Manchester United for the upcoming season? The player himself said he loves the football style played at the club, but that he did not feel that they (United Players and Management) really welcomed him as a member of the "Family". Tevez has played his part in United's successes this season, but with speculations of the arrival of Franck Ribery growing stronger everyday, it is less and less certain which way the Argentine shall go come next season. |
Manchester United achieved a double feat today, stretching their Premier League winning record, as well as equalling Liverpool FC's record of 18 League titles in the process. Bravo, United. it's not easy at all, |
Ejike3, it seems u are with the Lagos State government o . Anyway sha, i think it is a very good thing that the Lagos state govt did, by installing those CCTV cameras. Kudos to Gov. Fashola. It is his kind of attitude dat we need in other states of this nation, Anambra and Abia, take note! |
Who talk say Barca go win Man U 3-1? Na so u think am? why not 3-0? If U beef Man Utd so much, why give dem one goal? If u dey scope ball well, eh, u go know say na Man U go carry dis cup. Man Utd is retaining the title. Better come to terms with this, to avoid heartbreak come May 27th. |
Barcelona i must say, were persistent, and it paid off. But the referee really left us a bad taste in the mouth, as a result of his unwillingness to give well-deserved penalties, on at least two occassions. A referee shouldn't be afraid to make correct decisions, no matter how high the stakes are. Chelsea will have to live with the memory of missed opportunities, ill luck, and denied rights for another year. I feel sorry for them, sha. |
I no fit shout. This last weekend, nigerian clubs simply did d impossible. that Kano Pillars could beat El Ahly of Egypt? mind u, el ahly is more or less a European team, with its history and organization. it's even older than Man Utd! it has beaten such teams as Real Madrid and AS Roma in friendlies before, so u can imagine what Pillars were up against. And again, they were essentially unbeatable on d African scene up until dis moment. U see, the impossible simply happened out there in Egypt last weekend. Let's not forget Heartland. they beat Coton Sport Garoua, runners up last year and a team that crushed my darling Enyimba 3-0 last year. Kudos to Nigerian clubsides. With this momentum, both Pillars and Heartland are set to go very far in this year's lucrative group and knock-out stage of the African Champions League. Naija 4 Life. I love it when Nigerians do Nigeria proud. Cheers. ![]() |

Lookee, guys, this tie is done and dusted, barring the absurd. Manchester United is going through. You have to take into account all the facts on ground for both teams. Y'know, facts like present form, injury list, etc. And all so far favor the defending champions, Manchester United. Come on, u r dealing with the World, European and British Champions at the same time! Wake up and smell the coffee, u Arsenal faithfuls. Una don kpeme. I would have loved to see a Man U v Barca final, but who cares? as long as the title stays at Old Trafford. Cheers, guys. Haters, beware! |
What's this? Mother tongue or English? U guys make it sound like our kids' brains can hold only one! Come on, they can learn at least 2. Please parents, speak BOTH to ur kids! ah-ah! In a bid to make ur kid culture conscious, dont end up making him or her a limited retard. Use this formula: Mother tongue + English(at least) =complete child. |
United has taken a very big step towards the title, but there's a truckload of work in-between. the aim should be to take every game separately and not to think too far ahead. this would prevent a wavering of focus. the games are to be taken one at a time. This year still has a lot to offer us, my fellow Red Devils. see eh, another thing we must not let happen is d departure of Cristiano next summer. Why does Real Madrid (are they really mad?) keep chasing other teams' big players? no one ever does this to them. Old Trafford must remain a citadel of soccer excellence, as is Bernabeu. United we stand. United for life. UNITED FOR EVER! |
I wonder if they are doing this for other foreigners or is it just Nigerians. this is d kind of thing that this re-branding setup over here shd look into. or what do u guys think, eh? |
