Sometime in 2001, I was in one of the EU countries when I watched a documentary on television that was damaging and full of lies. I was angry when I called our embassy in that country wanting to know how they have reacted to that documentary. To cut a long story short, they placed a rebuttal in a free newspaper the following week. What they revealed during my conversation with them was that they had not been paid for 6 months. A chicken farmer was the President then, a cattle farmer is the President today. A country that is led by a primitive farmer, would have all the characteristics of a jungle village. Once the head is rotten, forget about the rest.

Anyone that believes in the use of violence for the domination of others can`t be said to have any higher IQ. There has never been any time that the white man scores higher than Asian in the IQ department. If China should use the WTO to her advantage outwitting the people that put it in place to rob others, that is an evidence of higher IQ. When you kill leaders that are the best around, leaders that do not just know the right thing to do but know how to do it, then blame the people for not governing properly, I find that barbaric-there is nothing smart about that.

Time to educate some folks here. The ONLY reason South Africa is more developed than the rest of black Africa is that she began her modern development long before any other African countries. Of all the black African nations under colonialism, South Africa was the ONLY country in which the colonialists RE -INVESTED export earnings in the local economy. Thus, South Africa's first universities were established as early as the 1880s by the colonialists. They built their first power stations in the 1890s. By contrast, in Nigeria etc, none of these things were built until the 1960s, after the colonialists left. The colonialists had settled SA in large numbers due to the weather etc. They saw it as a permanent settlement. So they governed responsibly. The rest of Africa they just looted. They exported resources from Nigeria, Ghana, Congo, Kenya, Zambia, Sierra Leone etc, and they reinvested next to nothing in those countries, for a hundred years plus. That's why they are so rich today. That was the reason for their colonialism in the first place. So SA has a 100 year headstart on the rest of Africa in terms of development, and in terms of experience in running a modern society. That is why we are all playing catch-up to them. But we are catching up, though it'll take some time. And they are not standing still either.

So Jeremy Corbyn is here to stay in one shape or form. Chuka Umuana is the `closest` black to the Downing Street today, but how you interpret that depends on your political philosophy. People like Dianne Abott and David Lammy are senior MPs to Chuka but they are the Jeremy Corbyn type, so not that electable. Then in the Tory, the most promising black there is a milionaire that snatched Boris Johnson`s wife, that alone is a death sentence. So the coast is almost clear for Chuka Umuana. But should his election happen, how is it going to help the black race? The hopelessness of Obama has given us enough clue
Anyway Sadiq Khan versus Chuka Umuana would be a good leadership contest for the Labour Party.

Ireland is an independent country with her own currency, so not a region of the UK. Many people in London with Irish heritage started to dig up their documents so as to apply for Irish passport in case UK quits the EU. Of course, the Irish passport would give them the much-cherished access to the EU after BREXIT. In other words, if you make it to Ireland, better to sort yourself out there than coming to a country that is doomed. David Cameron didn`t call for referendum because he loves democracy, he did so in order to silence the right-wingers in his party so as to have total control. Thinking that he would win, he engaged in a catastrophic gamble that would totally destroy his country sooner or later. Nigerian youngsters see David Cameron as a god, but the youngsters of his country see him as a self-centred power grabber that has taken continental mobility away from them. As a Nigerian, it has been a pleasure to see him gamble away his 5-yr-term, and go down in history as the Prime-Minister that wanted a total control of his Party only to end up taking his country out of the European Union. Sufficient punishment for a fantastically rude Prime-Minister. The Conservative Party is the Conservative Party, everything would end in mayhem!

David Cameron wanted George Osbourne, his Chancellor of Exchequer to succeed him. So most people believed that it was for Osbourne to lose- even his disaster budget didn`t change that significantly.
The PM wanted George Osbourne to succeed him, but London streets wanted Boris Johnson as Cameron`s successor. In third position was Theresa May or the promising Ruth Davidson. But one by one, the people in front of her committed suicide. What made it more remarkable was the fact that she was no Brexiter, but Michael Gove that Brexit should have helped committed his own political suicide when he betrayed his fellow Brexiter, Boris Johnson. Then the only Brexiter left standing talked herself into withdrawal. Good luck matters, indeed!

With the hundreds of policemen and women, dozens of courts of law, hundreds of lawyers and dozens of judges in the "center of excellence" , Lagos, it is the mob on the street that is making arrests, passing the judgement and dishing out the punishment to a suspect. And this is Lagos - many would say - the most civilized state in Nigeria!
