You can measure emotions. When there is love, certain chemicals are released into the body including pheromones, dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin. The same with fear. Your hear rate increases, you get a rush of adrenaline etc. these can all be measured.

The "experiences" people have of God are difficult to quantify on such a level. If we were to look at peoples experiences of God, we would find it impossible to classify. Just as we do not classify so many other paranormal phenomena out there. Dont we see odd people saying they saw so much weird stuff, yet we refuse to believe them, why?

let us not digress however. A religious debate can be had on the religious forum.

Also, those who believe in God are not insane. I once did. They are just not yet fully awake from a long slumber

What is the relationship between God and love? Love is an emotion, just like hate, fear, etc. These are what make us human beings. It is love that makes us crave company and build societies, our ability to form hierarchal structured societies etc stems from our necessity for companionship and fear of isolation. Ever noticed how isolation is a punishment in most societies?

I am not looking for a wife . And why would I want to call myself a christian? I did that once and found it somewhat disillusioning. I am not an advocate for forced marriages. Everyone should marry when they want and who they want. So why is it women running everywhere crying about not finding partners?If the law is to be brought in it should be the women it is enforced against as opposed to the men.

I bet most ladies know how nervy we men get when we want to approach a lady. I had a funny experience ages ago in London. I was walking and I saw this hot chick approaching, she was really nice. I was so lost in thought contemplating if I should approach her and what tactic to use that I missed a step, kicked a brick and fell flat on the floor ... right in front of her . Needless to say she helped me up, dusted me off a bit, giggled a lot and I was able to get her number through some sympathy .

freeeeky: i started work and met a guy at work. i am 29 while he is 37. we work in the same dept but hes a GM while i'm just an officer. when we joined 2years ago, we were just friends. he asked for a date but i avoided it for a year because he was dating a mgr in the HR dept.
