I agree. Without digressing, there are circumstances that can lead to people changing their perception of things. This might lead to their interpretation and actions to be different from what it would have been if they had prhaps a different outlook or more information. So I would say it is not necessarily different but it would sway their thinking differently. So maybe it hasnt changed but something in them has.
