Mr_Anony: Wrong. Immediately you say that something is "more omnipotent" than another, then you have created a limit for one of the deities therefore one of the deities is not omnipotent. Something that is limitless is simply limitless. It is absurd to say that something is a limited limitless entity

1) Omnipotent is defined as ability to do all things

2) God is defined as a creator and omnipotent in religions

3) The point is that an omnipotent God can not exist because omnipotence is a paradox and a self-contradictory concept.

Two examples are highlighted here;


3a) Omnipotence means the ability to do anything. However, that means there is nothing you are unable to do. Is God unable to die? But God has the ability of immortality!

3b) Can God create a rock that he can not move? If he can, the he is not omnipotent to move the rock. If he cant, then he is unable to create the rock.



You can call your God anything but the moment you call him "omnipotent" he ceases to exist because omnipotence is self-contradictory!

given the information in the public domain at the moment, this is what i believe to be the sequence of events that took place :

- otedola stole some oil subsidy money from FG (this is probably not based on his unsubsidized diesel imports )
- farouk implicated otedola in their initial oil subsidy report
- either farouk demanded for bribe or otedola initiated the move to pay bribe and 3 million dollar amount was agreed on
- otedola never wanted to pay the full 3 million from outset, and set out to record their transaction/meetings
- farouk collected part payment (bills whose numbers are known), settled the necessary lawmakers and then removed otedola's name
- farouk then demanded for the balance, and otedola was playing him and maybe later told him he would not pay him
- farouk threatened to re-include otedola's name in the report
- otedola went to the SSS friend to help him deal with lawan, providing them with his recordings, and he was fast enough to make the first move by releasing the bribery info into public domain
- otedola doctored/removed some of his recordings to make himself appear innocent and goes to the court of public sympathy which is ripened with hatred for the lawmakers
- police knows that to sucessfully prosecute lawan, they have to prosecute otedola too and they do not want to do tha
