Ehyncmosync: which is better, functionwise and economicallyThey are different. I have a Galaxy Tab and Ipad 2. The Galaxt tab is my preferred tablet due to its ease of use and compatibility. The battery life sucks however. The real glory of the Ipad is its looks (I prefer it), battery life and apps. Either way the key decision is have you ever used either OS before (IOS 5 or older on iphone, ipod etc) or (Android 2.2 ... I think Froyo or Honeycomb on HTC or Samsung phones)? If not you might find the IOS slightly more clunky. |
Beaf: I find it hilarious that since page one, we have been begging the winshes to tell us a single thing that Deziani has done, but they have failed. Lol!I could tell what she has done.... I can also tell what she hasn't done. The problem is that you will probably deny it and argue that someone else should take the fall. |
hisblud: Its a pity that the political BH hope to achieve will consume them. moderatoor state it so well here i quoteYes but that was then and this is now. How many xtians are ready to die for their beliefs? |
crackhouse: Chai they have sacked the man that is helping me to get NNPC contract work. I must say, it doesn't go down well with me at all.Which man is this? |
Joey82: hw abt madam madueke, when will it be her own turn? She is too powerful for him ![]() If she scales the Subsidy Probe (and it looks like she has) then there will always be another major crisis waiting for her. |
scud: Because the bible says so. God said I will set an egyptian against an egyptian! We are not Egyptian. |
Korrection: we are trying to be like the west...no moral uprightness anymore...the e- era has finished us...you need to see what the youths are doing with the so called phones and all...snapping..filming themselves while making love...spreading it all over the place...when you raise up the issue youll be attacked...you see people telling you..you are achaic ...i wish we could go back to our root where respect is paramount...no girl wants to live with a farmer but thats the real thing....i will never marry a modern day girl...i think a girl of my age will be better....lolThe youth of today are a scary bunch ![]() I believe the divorce rate is a global trend. Divorce rates are rising globally. It is mostly to do with female education and empowerment. Most women are not ready to sit ina marriage and take all that comes their way. They expect equal treatment and hence are more likely to push for divorce when they see that it isn't so. |
mamiel: Can someone explain to me while this Boko Haram whose name is interpreted "Western Education is Evil" not yet bombed any University in the North which are the actual centres of western education(I thought Obasanjo was xtian... he has been president on 2 occasions. I don't think it is really about xtianity. It is more to do withcthe type of person that he is. |
[quote author=Brand_ne I personally don't see laptops as being fashionable. Maybe a net book will come in handy but a laptop just doesn't cut it for me..[/quote]Gaming laptops maybe ![]() I still see there being room for bespoke, portable gaming systems. |
Who is the manufacturer? |
UcLloyd: Pls which graphics card is good for Gaming? I plan on replacing my laptop, buh I intend buying one that have a good graphics cd, for gamingAMD Radeon 7970. Get 2 as crossfire. ![]() |
Has the govt come out to say anything officially? |
virtuoso01: I just saw it on Reuters website. They reported a bomb blast at the carpark of the Krystal night club in Abuja.Yes. I saw similar in ThisDay. I guess no one wants to answer the actual question.... was there a bomb blast or was it a transformer? |
The precarious state of security in the country was again underlined Saturday night as a blast suspected to be a bomb explosion went off at about 12.00 midnight at Crystal Lounge, a popular hotel and night club located in Wuse 2, Abuja. Although THISDAY could not confirm the scale of destruction and casualty figures from NEMA, sources said the suspected bomb was concealed in the booth of a car at the parking lot, destroying a number of cars in the process. http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/abuja-bomb-blast-hits-top-night-club/118565/ So it is a transformer or bomb blast |
AIT is reporting it as a bomb blast with no casualties. So what is the situation? Bomb blast or no bomb blast? |
zsch: Greater than 10' and its encroaching the netbook niche. Personally 7-8' suits me fine. I've a laptop with a gigantic screen and getting a tablet would be for portability sake which imo 10' trunksYes but there are 17 inch laptops. A tablet of about 19 inch would still weigh less than a 17 inch laptop. It would need a special carry case but it would have its uses. To me the real issue is the battery life. A 19 inch would not have greater than 2-3 hours battery life. |
kdamz: When it comes to gaming amd is d best.....smooth graphics but can be a heat producer.....it is not suited for our weather in dis country..bcuz of dis reason d processor doesn't really last ....typical amd laptops have a life-span of btw 1 - 2years ....on d oda hand if u want a reliable processor go 4 intel but if u r a games guy or heavy graphics user u wld b quite disappointed bcuz intel doesn't hav enuff juice in its buds 2giv wat U need.....4me its AMD...if it crashes U buy anoda 1......Graphics are mostly related to the GPU. The CPU mostly aids performance. In regards benchmarks AMD falls way behind Intel. |
zumarock8: if u knw wat ur say u would hve keep quite, who say itel is better dan AMD in gamin, i ve used the two. Dats a fat lie, ![]() Check this out: http://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html According to benchmarking the Opteron is the highest benchmarked AMD processor and it is way down the list. |
You never mentioned the gpu specs? Is it integrated? How much gpu ram? What is the maximum upgradeable ram? What is the Windws Experience Index? No pics also? |
Will tablets ever come in larger screen sizes than 10 inch? Taking into account the portability and battery usage issues of larger screens is it ever likely to be looked at? Imagine a19 inch tablet..... Wow. |
Panshow: If u hav enough money, buy Intel, its good. If u need value 4 money, go 4 AMD. Tel me d kind work which intel fit do wey AMD no fit do?.High peformance gaming. AMD lags behind Intel in this area. |
lord.spiritual:I think they are referring to CPU rather than GPU. If you had to choose a cpu would it still be AMD? |
initialize: Maybe in terms of graphics AMD seems d right choice, but when considering processors, AMD na shit, it can only be compared with Intel Celeron and not Pentium or all new Sandy bridge processors. No one will buy an AMD equivalent over an intel dual core processor. You forgot to mention the Sandybridge 2 processors. The new i3960x processor would wipe the floor with any AMD processor. |
oche_ejemb: Someone raised a point that Laptops have replaced Desktops, I think this is false. AS with Tablets, Laptops were a whole new class of computer hardware with different use cases. This means that desktops will slowly be phased out. The only areas of growth will be bespoke, high performance desktops and maybe netbooks, tablet pcs. Laptops will slowly be phased out except for gaming laptops. Why do you think HP nearly exited the pc/laptop manufacturing market? There are predictions that within a decade the above will be the only areas of growth. |
Intel. The Intel series cost more but offer alot more power, especially their iseries chips. |
logicboy01: I think that if people were to make effort by themselves alone to look up these things on the internet, they would have solid dobts about their religionI doubt it. It takes a certain kind of person to have doubts. Most people would probably accept the information and add it along with their religious beliefs. There are many Christians who accept evolution and belive God created the world through evolution. To have doubts you need to be bold, open minded, strong willed to mention a few traits. |
Deting helps. No doubt exercise is a much faster method. Or for better results why not combine dieting and exercise. |
I don't think it matters. The court of law as an imstitution has enough power to hold up any oath. This means if you lie in you can be punished regardless of religious beliefs. Hence it matters not to which deity an oath is made to. |
ibide: What is the cause of this pool of tragedy in nigeria ?Poor governance, corruption, gullible and deluded population, irrelevant diaspora.... You name it. |
Blackteeth: I searched through some threads debating the existence of God to get answers to this question but its difficult to get one cos there are many posts to scan through. Therefore I decided it will be easier getting the answer by opening a new thread. To add also, a closed chaotic system with no outside interference can become ordered and structured. It does not prove that a system that is ordered must have been created. |
logicboy01: One question, why would they accept everything else.....theory of gravity, germ theory etc?Gravity is interesting. I know some people who still argue today that gravity does not exist Viruses and their constant mutations to avoid eradication, subatomic particles.... The list is endless. The more we learn of evrrything the less believable religion is. |
uhonmora: Not accepting the scientist's explanation of the origins of the earth doesnt mean christians have been brainwashed. They have as much right to believe in God as the creator just as you do to believe in the big bang theory.Have you ever thought about these topics (especially origins of the earth and big ba.ng theory) and looked st the evidence closely and empirically? If so have you put it alongside your belief in God. It won't necessarily discredit your belief in God but will challenge you to look deeper at things theists take for granted. The big ba.ng theory is very interesting. Try and read up on it somewhere. Lots of areas for juicy debate. |

This whole thing is as clear as crystal. Since the northern politicians lost the presidency to GEJ the southerner, they now remembered the long aged clamour from their ardent moslem brothers who have been begging them for moral and financial support in their bid to "Islamize" Nigeria. GEJ a christian sitting on their head as president is very symbolic to them; it means a DISBELIEVER (who is suppose to be their slave) is now their king, and they can't accept this fact. A christian proverb says "can 2 walk together except they agree". Even the queen of England with whose seal the Nigerian project was stamped knows too well that the North and South of the Niger area of West Africa jokingly called Nigeria can never truly unite together as one. so there is no need for this self deceit to continue -that a moslem from Borno State should see a christian from Delta or Anambra State as his brother;they can at best be neighbors. this is because it is popular opinion the world over that next to blood relationship (as a standard to measuring brotherhood)comes religion. In fact a true christian and a true moslem born of the same mother are very convinced that they are not brothers, their blood tie not withstanding. please let us just break this country peacefully because their is no way this their islamic thing can reach the south.
