Sadly, I'm not getting enough patronage.

If your business is legit as you claim and the rates are very cheap, then the little patronage that you are getting can be corrected by better marketing.

I always assumed that cheap data advertised online on many occasions are stolen or hacked data and as such it is not a legit business.
I may be wrong, but there are others like me who avoid these adverts of cheap data that do not explicitly explain how it became cheap and legit.

Everywhere I have seen there they do recycling business, they dont use generator . It would kill your generator and you would not make profit because you would spend your profit buying diesel. There is a very very big difference when you use electric motto machine and when you just have ordinary machines in your company. Electric motto consums light through out while its on, but its the other way ground for ordinary machines.

Which successful business or company in Nigeria depends soly on public power supply for it's operation?

My advice is this.

1. Buy a petrol or diesel Engine and connect to your crusher so you can use the engine in place of the electric motor to power the crusher.
2. Buy a generator to power your electric motor.


Option 1 will be cheaper for you.
You will be in control of your production with any of these options.

Thanks for your concern house. Its so painfull when i think about this issue. I have done a lot of stuffs but its as if i always make mistake, or should i say, its always as if them they follow me from my village lol..... Get a generator to power your business, add the cost of the generator and fueling to your operating cost and price your finished products according to your expense.

In many businesses, the profit is enough to pay for the additional expense on power.

Lawyers in the house please come to my aid. I work as a cashier in a Bet9ja shop. In the month of June i had a shortage of #132,000 which i cant explain how it happened.

I explained to my manager which he later-on called the owner of the shop on phone and i was arrested after receiving slaps from him.

At the police station i paid #30,000 and was taken to court 4 days later and the judge keep postponing the case until last month when the prosecutor asked that we settle the case amicably and out-of-court. We agreed that i will resume back to work and he will be deducting his money from my salary until its complete.

On getting to court to present the agreement maf I was jailed 6 months or #10,000 fine. I spent 21 days in prison without my family knowing my whereabout.

I later contacted them and the fine was paid and i was released. My question is AM I GOING TO PAY THE REMAINING MONEY OR IS THAT THE END OF THE CASE?

The judgement of the court is Jail time or 10,000 naira fine.

Since you have paid the fine, you are a free man before the law.

Note that I said "before the law"

No body can do any lawful thing about the money again unless the guy goes to court a second time and file a civil suit against you to claim damages.

But the guy can still use illegal means to try and collect money from you, so do well to keep your distance from the guy.
If he truly believe that you stole his money and you got a light punishment, he might come to try and punish you through other means.

APC has to commission something.

The cassava farm many years ago was jointly managed by atlanticsfire's cousin and us.

I have never scammed anyone,if i have please come out and say so.
we run a transparent farm management programme.
For people in the agribusiness know well that we are faced with numerous challenges which sometimes get-rich-quick investors may not want to understand.
Thats why we encourage once in a while visit to have a feel of ongoings on your investment and physical presence of yourself/your representative at important operations on the farm (harvesting).

What I said is that I gave you over 2 million naira for farming of 50 acres of cassava. Up to this moment I did not receive even 1 naira from you as proceed from the cassava farm. You can disprove this if what I have said is incorrect.

It is up to you to decide whether you duped me of 2 million naira or not, personally I believe I can squeeze my money out of you, So I can not conclude that you have duped me.

I had a signed agreement with you on the setup and management of the farm and that did not include any other person.

My cousin was involved in a totally different farm project (plantain project) that started 6 months after the start of the cassava farm, so do not bring my cousin into the cassava issue.

I paid you the management fee for the cassava farm, I did not owe you, neither did I split the management fee between you and any other person. So you should be sensible enough to sell off the cassava as agreed and pay me my money without much prompting.

Anyway, just settle the current OP who has opened this thread to get his payment. At the appropraite time I will open your chapter.

I tried to open an account with tdameritrade.com but the site says I am not eligible to open an account when I indicated that I am a Nigerian.

When I used thesame information but change the country of Nationality from being Nigerian, It allowed me to proceed with the registration process..

Has anyone faced this problem also?

It's good you added your experience here. Out sourcing farm management is done the world over, but criminals like the accused won't let agriculture be great in Nigeria. A lot of people have idle money that they are willing to invest if they find good farm management. Arrangements like this should be a win-win situation. Mutually beneficial to investor and manager. But greed won't let us be great.
BTW, did you sweat him? You can press charges you know?
