TheGoodJoe:The Ekwulobia tragedy would not have occured if the Nigerian security agencies stop acting like hooligans and realise that the weapons issued to them is not for shooting unarmed people. Nigerians can be funny, they think the unlawful shooting of unarmed people started with IPOB. |
KEVIND:Forget Buhari, the man is a complete and utter disaster. |
Someone should tell Buhari that this is not the dark ages. “Nigeria’s unity is settled and not negotiable,” Is the same as calling all Nigerians prisoners. |
The only people calling for war are Nigerians. Biafrans are calling for referendum |
The only thing not negotiable in life is the eventuality of death. Every other thing is negotiable |
I find it funny that lawyers released a statement where they talked about the Ekwulobia incident but failed to say anything about the reprehensible heavyhanded methods the Police and Army used on protesters. They actually blamed Kanu. |
Biafra is not feasible in Nigeria because he believes in one Nigeria? What a crass idiot |
Lovely pictures! Thats how to send a message to Nigeria that we are tired of this false union |
Nice one! |
Igbos are long over due for their own country |
MediumStout:Well I suggest yoy look at the constitution for the meaning of treason because waving any flag, wether Biafran, American or Japanese flag is not against any law in Nigeria |
MXrap:If anyone is hurt, you can be sure that it will be the Nigerian security forces doing the 'hurting' against unarmed people. IPOB has never touched anybody |
MXrap:Why? |
MXrap:Why would security agents intercept them? Have they broken any law? Or did anyone tell you that it is a crime to go to Ekwulobia and wave the Biafran flag? Go and sleep |
Dokubo in his element |
julietm123:How can referendum be "forcing people"? If referendum is "forcing people" then Nigeria has a lot to answer for because nobody even had a referendum to decide if they want to belong to Nigeria in the first place. |
Alanzazani:You were around when Kanu ordered a sit at home on the 30th of May. What do you think the compliance rate was? |
If he was a good leader, the country would have been in massive jubilation. |
The ones that made me laugh was when they said: "Nnamdi Kanu will never have the guts to come to Nigeria" "He will be arrested and locked up" "Watery beans of Kuje will reset his brains" "Bail conditions will humble him" Kanu just kept jumping each huddle and became a hero lol |
I had no idea that Sam Loco fought for Biafra. I remember once meeting Sam Loco in Enugu many years ago and he told he had been a Teacher in Enugu when the war broke out. My father told about Okoko Ndem. He told me that as a young Biafran Soldier in the bush with his radio, Okoko Ndems voice gave him hope that he would survive the war. |
bkool7:Dont you find it odd that Kanu abd IPOB withdrew their boycott but neither Kanu or IPOB said anything about it. It is Channelstv that is reporting it? Laughable |
If we remember: The last President of Biafra was General Philip Effiong, an Annang man. He was also deputy president. The Secretary of the Biafran Government was Mr Akpan, an Ibibio man The head if the Biafran Airforce was Lt Col George Kurubo, an Ijaw man Biafran foreign affairs minister was Mr MT Mbu, an Ogoja man The man who suggested the name "Biafra" to Ojukwu as the name of the new country was Frank Opigo, an Ijaw man One of the greatest commanders of the Biafra war was Major Achibong, an Oron man So in terms of Biafra, the minorities played their part. Thats why I laugh when people say that the Southern minorities are not part of Biafra. In the present day, we now have ficticious names like SE and SS and some people actually refere to themselves as this. The good thing is that when a referendum comes, everyone will have the opportunity to choose. If only the Igbos/Igboids and Igbo speaking people become independent, I will be happy with this as well. |
Cooly100:It scares them to death to be left alone with the Northerners in Nigeria. |
The man is just skin and bones. |
As an Anambra man Im fully in support election boycott. I think that Obiano has done well enough to go for a second term however, what IPOB stands for is more important to me than 100 Obiano's |
The fake news casters everywhere. For the record, Kanu never said that INEC will not conduct elections in Anambra. What he said is that the election will be boycotted People should go and learn the difference between elections not holding and boycott. I urge my fellow Anambrarians to stay at home on election day to send a powerful message to Nigerians that we will no longer be part of the political process of Nigeria that does nothing but produce one thief after the other. |
Nice one. I hope it will be the start of the total rejection of the politics of Nigeria by our people |
IPOB is not interested in the politics of Nigeria |
Organs:If you know he is causing trouble, support him and his people to go their way. Why do you want to be in one country with trouble makers? |
mfm04622:Shooting unarmed people is extreme force and not reasonable force. Now, I ask again. As a Police officer, if an unarmed crowd surrounds your Police demanding release of detained suspects and refused to leave when ordered. What will you do?Protest at police stations is nothing new, it happens in different countries all over the world everyday. In a situation whereby people are protesting the arrest of their associates at a Police station, it is the duty of the police to diffuse the situation by coming out to address the protesters. If the Police feels the need to disperse the crowd, they should use teargass, water canisters, rubber bullets and other forms of non life threatening methods to do so. If they dont have these crowd control items, they should contact their headquarters so that it is sent down. If they cant get any of these items, they should lock the gates of the police station and wsit for the protesters to get tired and go home. It is pure sacriledge for the police to open fire into a crowd of protesters unless in very dire situations. Protesters surrounding a Police station is not a dire situation unless the protesters are actually attacking the Station its self with dangerous weapons. It is the duty of the Police to protect life, that is why it is an absolute disgrace for them to shoot unarmed people. I have seen violent protest against the Police of other countries on TV. I have seen people throwing stones, sticks and patrol bombs at Police yet the Police do not open fire on the protesters. That is because because they know that to take human life should only be last resort and bullets dont respect anybody. Nigeria has a long way to go beore it can be civilised. |
Seyi Law is an incredible idiot for what he said. Boko Haram just slaughtared 42 farmers few days ago, they didnt say anything Cultists beheaded someone in Elele yesterday, they didnt say anything Two IPOB supporters gunned down in Ekwulobia few days ago, not a word Herdsmen on rampage in Benue, not a word. But Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB that have never touched anyone just merely salute each other and all hell breaks loose. Idiots like Seyi Law start screaming 'arrest him', 'he is about to start war' The stupidity of some people is amazing. |
LorDBolton:Which constitution? The one Abubakar wrote in his bedroom? Did Nigeria hold any referendum to adopt this constitution? Nigeria and the Nigerian constitution share something in common, they are both something different men drew up in their bedrooms |
