In what appears as an unprecedented move, the quest for the sovereign state of Biafra has taken a new form. From a 15mins video which got into circulation yesterday, young men and women dressed in black and black were seen taking command from their “commanders” in place that looks like a village parade ground. The man at the center of the agitation, Nnamdi Kanu, was also seen inspecting these various platoons of “soldiers” who came from different parts of South East and South-South.

Apart from the fact that the parade was a caricature of Boys Brigade parade practice, it was a mockery of all the person involved and the people they represent. As we are all aware, this is not the best of times as there is tension in most part of the country owing to various protests and unrest, like the Return or Resign protest (which witnessed a small riot at Wuse Market yesterday) for and against (president Mohammadu Buhari) rally, the October 1 quit notice, the Fulani herdsmen and the many more security concerns the nation is facing, the nation should not be thrown in to uncertainties. This brigandage should be nipped in the bud right in time.

It may interest you to know, this set of riffraff have decided to be rival to the Department of State Security Service by christening themselves “Biafra Secret Service (BSS)” and it was said that they are ready to “volunteer their life to fight for and defend Biafra land”. As far as I know, this is an illegal organization which is capable of undermining the security of the entire country.

It is clear and obvious Nnamdi Kanu has flaunted his bail conditions but has not been rearrested based on reasons best known to security operatives. If he’s allowed to continue in this manner, Nigeria will eventually become a lawless state. The earlier this agitation for the state of Biafra is controlled the better for the peaceful coexistence of every one of us.

The agitators of this secessionist movement as well as every other person making statements capable of causing unrest must be called to order with immediate effect. It is high time the acting president take a decisive action to douse all the tension.

This write up of your is nonsense. What you should be concerned about is if Nnamdi Kanu has broken any laws? If he has flouted his bail conditions, it is for the courts to decide at its next sitting. What tangible thing can you say Kanu has done wrong?

This is the Nigeria they want us Igbos belong to? One where unarmed people are shot and killed for expressing their constitutional right to agitate?

There's a question these people are not asking their leaders, in the recent attempt at amending the 1999 constitution, why didn't the south east and south-south legislators form a coalition to ask for the inclusion of referendum in the constitution?

Inspite of the much touted wealth allegedly belonging to Nnamdi KANu's father, their house is a modest house which an average middle class Nigerian can afford to build.

Since when has a mans house become a measure of his wealth? Chief Ilodibe lived in a modest 1 bedroom Duplex all his life that many people never knew he was the owner of one of the largest transportation companies in Nigeria called EKENE DILI CHUKWU. It is not everyone that is into advertising their wealth with the size of their house.


I have to keep giving Nnamdi Kanu his props, the man is a born freedom fighter. The only reason why some Nigerian people havent taken him serious is because he has not yet taken up arms yet and he does not need to take up arms. "The truth shall set you free"

IPOB is not interested in who becomes the next Governor. What IPOB wants is to get majority of our people to boycott elections

The boycott was never about stopping Obiano, or anyone else from being governor. IPOB is aware that just Obianos family are enough to elect him. The boycott is all about getting our people to reject the act of voting in Nigeria.

If IPOB can get 90%, 80%, 70% or even 67% or two thirds of all registered voters in Anambra to boycott the election, the boycott would be most successful and could have huge consequences for 2019 where IPOB might target ot get over 90% to boycott the votes.

IPOB does not care about party politics or whoever is conducting campaigns or primaries.

What IPOB cares about is election boycott!

Where some people are shouting secession but they keep on applying for federal government jobs and FG benefits.

Where some people are shouting for electric cars when they know we don't have steady power supply in the country, or is it "I pass my neighbour" generator that we'll be using to charge the cars.

Where our top politicians don't send their children to Nigerian schools or even use Nigerian hospitals. If there was a war how many of their children will serve in the army considering that they benefit more from this country than any one else.

When herdsmen take their cows into farmlands, how do they want the community to feed themselves. Where the food basket of the nation uses traditional farming tools instead of mechanized farming.

Where begging is now becoming an everyday job or business that must and will be taxed. Where people kill others and no one is punished for it.

I'm not a top politician, but I believe the debate in the upper and lower house of assembly is becoming boring, we have people that have never sponsored any Bill ever since they were elected into office.

There are pictures of senators and house of assembly members sleeping when house is in session, is that what we voted them for?


Its time to make this country work, it's time for us to look deep into the problems that affect this country. We have one year to do this before the coming election, it's time to Arise o compatriot and obey Nigeria 'so call, the question we should ask ourselves is...

There is just one problem. If people say that Anioma and Onitsha indigenes are Bini decendants, why didnt they keep their Bini surnames? Even if one can give reasons why they all speak Igbo, it does not explain why they all have Igbo surnames.

The Obi of Onitsha is "Nnaemeka Achebe"

The Obi of Asaba is " Chike Edozien"

The Obi of Ibusa is " Professor Onwuachi"

The Obi of Ogwashi- Ukwu is "Professor Okonjo"

The Obi of Ubulu-Ukwu is "Ezeofili"

All the kings of the Anioma area all have Igbo surnames. Infact, the only person whose name sounds a bit Edo is the Dein of Agbor, Ben Ikechukwu Keagborekuzi.

So the question is, if the Anioma are Bini decendants, why did they give up their Bini surnames to answer Igbo surnames? Why would a Bini man throw away his Bini surname to answer that of Igbos?
