PoliticsRe: ABURI ACCORD THAT WOULD HAVE SAVED NIGERIA FROM ALL HER PROBLEMS by Femi Adesina by attackgat: 1:26pm On Aug 25, 2017
That was back in the day when Adesina had not yet recieved "juicy appointment". Now, he would never repeat this statement in the face of the Biafran agitation.

People can shout all they like that "Ojukwu caused the war" but history is there to prove otherwise. Gowon caused the war by not living up to the agreement he signed at Aburi.

Aburi serves as a stark reminder to all those who shout "restructuring" that the North will never allow restructuring to happen. Anyone who thinks that the North will give up a position they have enjoyed for 50 years needs to have their head examined.
PoliticsRe: If No Referendum’ We Will Regroup For The War Against The Igbo – Arewa Youths by attackgat: 1:03pm On Aug 25, 2017
As a proud Igbo man and Biafran supporter, I thank the Nothern youth on two counts.

I thank them for the quit notice because for a long time, Igbos living in the North have needed a reminder that there is no such thing as "one Nigeria"

I also want to send another thanks because this quit notice will reverse this trend of our people in investing in the North niw that they know that an eviction notice can be served on them any time.

If the IPOB agitation can make Northern youths support referendum then it means the Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB are on the right track. We need more people to join the call for Igbos to have a referendum.

Good advice Mrs Bianca Ojukwu, as an Anambra man, Im calling for total boycott of elections because the freedom of us Igbos from the circle of evil called Nigeria is far more important to me than who is the Governor of Anambra

And Nigeria has the right to defend its territorial integrity by any means necessary. Why not tell Kanu to debate Joe igbokwe first, his fellow Igbo. It would only make sense if he debated with his fellow igbos who oppose Biafra first, then he can take on Buhari or Hausa Fulani people later. Why is Kanu afraid of debating with him even when Joe igbokwe answered the call of Kanu for a debate?
The intergrity of Nigeria is decided by the indigenous people who who populate Nigeria. If those people or some of those people decide that they do not want their ancestral lands to be part of Nigeria any more then Nigeria has no territorial intergrity any more. The people owned the land long before there was anything called Nigeria.

As for debating Kanu, I think Kanu needs to debate a non Igbo. Kanu has already proved his support amongst his fellow Igbos through the massive crowed that comes to his rallies as well as the sit at home order that was massively complied with. Kanu does not need to debate a fellow Igbo like Joe Igbokwe. Joe Igbokwe should first go to Igbo land and hold "one Nigeria" rallies lets see the numbers that come out for him before he can debate Kanu.

Kanu's belief and ideology is not that of the majority of Igbos, he's just gallivanting in the new status you placed him.
If truly that Ndigbo believe in his silly ideology, why are we not seeing millions coming back to the SE?
Remember they were chased out in 1967.
I don't pray for a repeat episode anyway.
You people keep regurgitating tbis nonsense that if Igbos werw serious about Biafra, they would be streaming back home. Ehen Ojukwu told his people to return home in 1967 and Igbos streamed back home, what did you Nigerians do? Did you let Igbos have Biafra? You Nigerian fought to bring Igbos back into Biafra.

Igbos know that going home is what will make Nigeria grant them Biafra so going back home has nothing to do with anything.

PoliticsRe: How Did T. Y Danjuma Rtd Made His Money by attackgat: 11:14pm On Aug 24, 2017
General TY Danjuma was one of those Northern Army officers who held Nigeria by neck for fr 13 solid years (1966-1979)

Danjuma was the one who led soldiers to Government House Ibadan where the Head of state, General Ironsi was staying as a guest of Lt Colonel Fajuyi, Military Governor of Western Nigeria.

Danjuma abducted both men executed them. This elevated Danjuma's profile as a gifted coup plotter and sadistic killer

He rose rapidly in the army after this and by the age of just 40, he was a Lt General and Chief of Army staff.

After the Dimka coup which resulted in the death of Murtala Mohammed, Danjuma became the highest Ranking Northerner in the Nigerian Army. The North actually wanted him to become head of state but he decided not to take over the position, leaving it for Obasunjo.

He retired a a very rich man and became chairman of several blue chip companies such as Nestlie Nigeria. He later aquired several Oil blocs and made billions.

Danjuma was just another opportunist who used his position in the military to become stupendiously rich

Laughable Northern youths who thought they could intimidate the Igbo nation with theur useless quit notice.

They havent seen anything yet. Igbos will keep agitating for their right to self determination.

If they Northern youths dont like it, they are welcomed to join IPOB!

In light of the renewed agitation for the secession of Igbos from Nigeria and form a new nation called "Biafra", I would like those with understanding to come to my aid and tell me the meaning of the word in Igbo language.
Ngozi123, attackgat, pazienza, afam4eva
Biafra is not an Igbo word because Biafra is not just about Igbos.

When Ojukwu was about to declare the independence of the old Eastern Region, he called for suggestions as to what to call the new country. A certain Ijaw man called Frank Opigo told Ojukwu that 600 years ago, an ancient Kingdom called Biafra existed which covered most of what is now called SE/SS as well the Southern Cameroons. This ancient kingdom stopped at the Bini empire.

So Ojukwu chose the name "Biafra" for its historical value

The map of ancient Biafra is below

Not the same at all. Britain comprises autonomous region of England, Wales, Scotland. They are autonomous regions. While UK is England Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. These autonomous regions have a choice to pull out of the union, which made those referendums possible. England cant stop Scotland from having a referendum because she has no constitutional powers to stop it according to their arrangement.

The Parallel to Nigeria would be if Wessex region of England which includes London and other major towns wants to pull out of England.
Not true.

England is the territory of the English people. Wessex are English people. English people cannot pull out of England. Thats like saying that Owerri can can pull out of Igbo land. However, Scottish people, Welsh people and Irish people are separate ethnic groups. They have the right to pull out of the UK.

In that same vain, Igbos, being a separate ethnic group, have the right to pull out of Nigeria.

Another importabt thing to note is that Wales, England and Scotland all signed the "Act Of Union" where all three kingdoms officially agreed to be one country called the United Kingdom

The Igbo nation never signed any agreement to be part of Nigeria

When I hear my fellow Nigerians talk about our situations, the state of our nation and their intentions for better and improved standard of living— I tell myself that the passion for change is still missing. Because we don’t tell our stories passionately enough, we don’t show clearly enough that it is illegal for religion and regional disputes to rub us of our joy as a nation and as a people.
Your fellow Nigerians? How are we fellows? Because Lugard came in 1914 to proclaim us as one?

Im an Igbo man and as far as Im concerned, Nigeria no better than a prison where me an my people are held captive.

I went over section two twice. I did not see a where is says it is against the law to hoise a Biafra flag or wear Biafran clothing. If I missed it, maybe you can quote it here. chapter 4 of the same constitution allows freedom of movement, expression and belief.

I am not against the agitation for Biafra but it should be done with wisdom. The only way Biafra can be actualized is first, the unity of the Igbos in the fight for this common cause. I know it is impossible to have 100% cooperation in things like this but they should carry the majority along.

Until the dream is actualized, I don't subscribe to hoisting of Biafra flags in Nigeria. It is a treasonable offense. Likewise the recruitment of security agents working for Biafra. It is an indirect way to trigger war which they may not be ready for. They are lucky the President is partially incapacitated. Otherwise, subduing such acts wouldn't pose any serious problem for the federal government.

There are better ways to fight for the actualization of Biafra. Nigeria is a failed state but two wrongs actions can never make things right.
You are talking nonsense. Show me any law in Nigeria where it is banned to hoist the Biafran flag or wear Biafran clothing?
PoliticsRe: South-east Senators Meet Kanu, Call For Caution by attackgat: 8:47pm On Aug 23, 2017
Throwback:
Why not beg your elder brother called Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe to raise a motion for secession or a referendum at the National Assembly?

What are the Eastern Senators afraid of in moving a motion for a referendum their own people desire?.

Is it Yoruba or Fulani or Hausa or Bini or Urhobo or Tiv Senators and Representatives that will move a motion for demands made by Igbos in the SouthEast?

Who are the cowards in this matter?
Same reason why no one from Southern Nigeria has moved a motion for restructuring. There is no point moving a motion for something that the North will use its numerical strenght at the National assembly to vote out. It would be wasted effort

And why is IPOB supported by only miscreants who cannot support Nnamdi Kanu and his family, resulting in Fayose setting up an appeal fund for Yorubas to contribute?
IPOB is finanaced internationally, it does not source funds locally but if there are people who want to be local contributors like Fayose, Im sure IPOB wouldnt mind

Who are the power brokers in IPOB that have failed to exert the political power of constituted authority even at the local government or state government level, helping to give this Biafran demand some legitimacy comparable to the Irish, Scottish, and SouthSudanese demands for independence in time past.

Not a single political office holder from the SouthEast is proud to associate with IPOB. Not a single one has come out to support, rather they have come out to caution.
The Biafran agitation is about the masses, not a privileged few. Its about the common out there, not about a few political moneybags in Abuja

PoliticsRe: Asari Dokubo- "Biafra IS Going To Be United States Of Biafra"( Video) by attackgat(op): 8:01am On Aug 23, 2017
Asari Dokubo is a wise man. Unlike other Ijaws like IYC president, Pereotubo and Tonyebarcanista who's only dream for the Ijaw nation is for them to beg for restructuring forever

Asari Dokubo knows that Northern Nigeria will never agree to restructuring as long as there is one drop of oil still left in Ijawland.

He also knows that Ijaws dont have the numbers to fight a war of independence.

So the only practical thing to do is join Biafra. Only Biafra can give Ijaws restructuring and control of their resources. Any other thing is a waste of time

Do you know how many threads I open in a day and why I open them?

Let me give you a few hints:

Nnamdi Kanu is almost certainly going back to prison.

You will only whine about it.

Pray tell, how or why should I be worried?

I will tell you what I am worried about though- hundreds to thousands of Igbo youths dying for no good reason other than empty pride and a lack of political know-how and sophistication.
Nnamdi Kanu going to jail will not add or remove anything from your life, so why are you worried about him?

You should be more worried about your Nigeria that is heading nowhere but for the rocks.
