The man knows how to enjoy his money |
0b100100111:You people are funny. Lets just assume you are right. Let us say that the agitation for secession is because of GEJ's loss. It is still their right to to go whenever they want and for whatever reason. |
In this 13 minute video clip, the leader of the Niger Delta Voluteer Force NDVF, Chief Asari Dokubo talks about Biafra. He said that he has been involved in the drafting of a constitution for Biafra and that Biafra will be a confederation to be known as "United States Of Biafra". He went on to say that the 'confederating units' of Biafra may be decided by referendum. He said that revenue will be divided 70% to the confederating units and 30% to central Government. He also said that the Government of Biafra will be in charge of defence, foreign affairs, judiciary and other national issues. He ended by saying that the right of secession via referendum for any of the confederating units will be in the Biafra constitution https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GFRvEjmPLI |
Just 5 guys? That shows what support Buhari has amongst Ndigbo. |
Wether Ojukwu visited Buhari and wether they had an agreement on the unity of Nigeria is irrelevant. 2003 is almost 15 years ago. What matters is now, not then. |
My 45 million strong Igbo nation is way over due to be a separate independent sovereign nation The Igbo nation should forget all these people whose only vision for Igbos if for us to remain in Nigeria eternally jostling with Hausas and Yorubas for one political position or the other. Gambia is just 2 million people but is an independent nation Benin Republic is 10 million people but is a sovereign nation Sierral Leone is just 7 million people but is a sovereign nation. Gambia, Benin and Sierra Leone are out there talking with the world, signing trade and bilateral agreements with different countries even though the population of all three countries is not even half of Igbos. But the vision of some people is for the Igbos to be in Nigeria begging for restructuring, begging for resource control, begging for Nigerian presidency. My dear Igbo nation, how can we think so low? Let us aspire to our own independent nation and make it great rather than perpetually remaining in Nigeria measuring D#ck with Hausa and Yorubas. |
I am happy that he is not one of these Igbo men who makes money and goes to develop other peoples lands. He went back home and invested heavily |
perez100:What justice and equity means to a Hausa/ Yoruba/ Igbo man is veey different. That why Nigeria is not a nation and never will To and Igbo man, justice and equity in Nigeria is nothing less than a confederation where Igbos have a very high degree of autonomy, complete resource control and fiscal independence as well as the right to secession. To the Hausa/Fulani man, justice and equity mean control of the political and structural leadership of Nigeria under a strong center or unitary government. Since the south controls the economy, the North might as well control political power. To the Yorubas, justice and equity means something close to what Igbos want but without the option of secession and not necessarily a confederation Nigeria is just not workable |
MXrap:If you like call it opoklistic state, it is still Igbo land and an Igbo man cannot be imported into Igbo land |
I dont know why this keeps happening with APGA. Whenever elections are close, someone will spring out of nowhere, claim to be party chairman and start conducting primaries. This same Martin Agbaso left APGA for PDP to contest the 2015 Governorship elections in Imo state. All of a sudden, he is back, leading a faction of APGA. |
MXrap:What do you mean by monolithic state? Anambra is just the creation of the military. It is a land populated by Igbos same as Abia and Enugu state etc So how can Igbos be imported into Igbo land? People are moving from one part if their ancestral land to another and you are saying they are imported. What nonsense! Can a Yoruba man be imported into Ibadan? Can a Nigerian be imported into Nigeria? Look, take this useless propaganda back to Obiano for the dustbin. |
MXrap:Can you be imported into you fathers compound? Aba and Ekwulobia are still in Igbo land and populated by Igbos. So how can Igbos be imported into Igbo land? |
Funny when people say that IPOB was imported from other states. Can Igbos be imported into Igbo land? Wether those who were in Ekwulobia were from Enugu or Abia, it is still Igbos moving around in Igbo land. So what is the problem? Anambra, Imo, Enugu, Abia, Ebonyi are just creations of the military. Igbo land is Igbo land and Igbos cannot be imported into Igbo land |
Alanzazani:Why do you want to align your self with other Regions? Why are you still looking for restructuring in Nigeria? Kanu is talking about an independent nation for the Igbos to trade and deal with other nations of the world from China to America. People like you are still talking about licking the a$$ of other Regions so we can get restructuring and political patronage. Your vision as someone who claims to be Igbo is too low and doesnt go beyond Nigeria. kanu's vision is global |
MediumStout:You mean the unarmed people your Nigerian Army shot? We didnt know that one of the duties the Nigerian Army is to go out and shoot unarmed civilians even when there is no war. |
maclatunji:Only someone with backward mentality will be asking why Kanu has not renounced his British citizenship. Didnt Kanu leave London to come back to Nigeria despite his British citizenship? If Kanu did not want to suffer, he would still be in London. Kanu's dual nationality does not make any difference, anyone can escape to any neigbouring African country with no passport. Kanu's commitment to Biafra is what is important not the colour of his passport |
ndcide:Many Nigerians keep asking 'why do you keep electing politicians to represent you if you are serious about leaving' But when Kanu suggests election boycott, they start shouting that it is wrong. Always shifting the goal post |
I love it |
Naruto87:You are talking nonsense. Buhari is not a good leader. Things have got worse for everyone since he became president. As for Nnamdi Kanu, he is freedom fighter who only wants referendum. It is only Nigeria that is looking for war |
Ojukwu did not warn against anything. What he said in the video was that if Nigeria has learnt its lesson from the first Biafra then there is no need for a second Biafra Unfortunately, Nigeria did not learn anything from the first Biafra and all the things that caused the first Biafra are still with us, marginalisation, restructuring, ethnic cleaning, sectarian violence, religious killings etc So a second Biafra is almost inevitable. |
danduke85:Kanu cannot do anything to release those boys. Only the courts can give them bail same as courts gave Kanu bail. The court is on holiday. So what can Kanu do but wait untill the next court date? It is on youtube where we see Kanu visiting the families of Madubugwu and Nwawuisi. Kanu did not forget them Second, during a strategy meeting with Kanu’s lead counsel, Ifeanyi Ejiofor (Barr.), it was agreed that Kanu will abide by all aspects of his bail conditions, which came about after a lot of lobby and interface with relevant stakeholders. Amongst other conditions, Kanu was required not to grant interviews, involve himself in any rallies, and not found in a group exceeding ten (10) persons. In her ruling, Justice Binta Nyako warned that a violation of any aspect of the bail conditions would see Kanu return to prison. If Kanu has broken his bail conditions, it is Kanu that will be returned to jail. So why cry more than the bereaved? He has toed the path of violence and remained a threat to our collective political fortune.Im yet to hear of a single act of violence by Nnamdi Kanu or IPOB . It wouldn’t make sense for us to lose on both ends, especially as the 2019 general elections draw near. Our stand still remains that we work together to ensure that Ndigbo gains her rightful place in the Nigerian project; we have examined it back and forth and come to this conclusion that we may be better for it.Kanu and IPOB are seeking the independence of Igbos and the minorities that are comfortable with Igbos as the Republic of Biafra. Kanu and IPOB have no interest in Nigeria or the position of Igbos in Nigeria. They are freedom fighters. Third, Kanu’s audacious call for a boycott of elections in Anambra State is not just appalling but a total demonstration of irresponsibility and a lack of focus. This singular posture has waned Kanu’s popularity amongst the Anambra people, where he commanded a large following until recently. The people of Anambra are ready to resist Kanu’s antics any day. Anambra has remained the shining light of Ndigbo in the past six to seven years, so the people are not ready to throw away their destiny on the basis of such uncertainties which Kanu and his group of agitators represent.Anyone who is serious about their freedom cannot keep participating in the political process of the country they seek to breakout of. Kanu was right to ask Ndi Anambra to boycott the Anambra elections as a start to the complete withdrawal of of the people from the politics of Nigeria. Election boycott is not illegal. It will be up to the people to comply or not. Im from Anambra and I support election boycott Fourth, with the launch of the rag-tagged Biafra Security Service (BSS), Kanu has publicly presented himself as a militant leader. This may come with its own consequence(s), as the Nigerian government may be provoked to act in ways that would see Kanu return to Kuje prison. How can Kanu be a militant leader when he has no weapons? How can bss be a militant group when they carry no guns? Are Boyscouts, Boysbrigade and girlsguide also militant groups? They wear uniforms and salute each other just like bss. Where is the militancy? The question now is what if Nnamdi Kanu is rearrested? My answer is – Ndigbo would go to sleep. Nnamdi Okwu Kanu is a scammer. He is a criminal mind who is out to take advantage of the same people he claimed to be fighting for. He is not worth the attention he craves for.If Nnamdi Kanu is a scammer then I dont know what scammer will leave their comfortable London base to come back to Nigeria and spend 18 months in Kuje prison as well as suffer treasonable charges on top of all that. Why would Kanu, son of the king of his village, leave his wife and family, announce he is returning to Nigeria where he is a wanted man, risk his life, all for a scam? Why would a man pledge to give up his life for his beliefs all for a scam? The truth is that Kanu is fighting for the independence of his people from Nigeria just as Zik and others fought for the independence of Nigeria from Britain, only the method is the difference. Freedom still is the goal Kanu is a courageous freedom fighter. The only people who hate him are those who still believe in the disasterous and unworkable British colonial entity called Nigeria. If Kanu is returned to Kuje, the agitation for Biafra will continue. The Biafran agitation is much bigger than Kanu. |
gberra:Dont make us laugh. What will Buhari do? Lock up Kanu? Shoot unarmed IPOB? He has done all that in the past, it didnt help him. |
Buhari is a national embarassment |
Fifthcolumnist:Exactly my brother. The average Nigerian is a hypocrite. Nigerians understand their right to be independent from Britain, which they celebrate every 1st October. But the same Nigerian is wondering what right Igbos have to ask for the their independence as Biafra. That is bigotry and hypocrisy. |
MediumStout:Unity begger |
aputel:What do you mean by paralell government? Did you see IPOB touch anyone or enforce anything? Just because some people say they want their independence, others say they are forming a parallel government. For your information, IPOB has broken no law till date. |
bams2999:He hasnt changed his mind, he still supports election boycott. If the election is boycotted, elections wont hold. |
Kazim88:That is why Nigeria is uncivilised. A mere colonial product that was manufactured in 1914 is what some people are now saying is "non negotiable"? So what was negotiable before 1914? There are people in my village that are older than Nigeria. |
Most Nigerians have been brainwashed to believe that Biafra means war. But these Nigerians never stop to ask themselves: Who is the violent party in the Biafran agitations? Who is carrying arms? Nigeria! Who is shooting and killing people? Nigeria! Who is arresting, detaining and torturing people? Nigeria! Has IPOB got any arms? No Has IPOB killed anyone? No Has IPOB touched anyone? No So who is the violent party? Who is the one who is most likely to cause war by their conduct? |
rabzy:Not any more. Britain that created Nigeria gace one of its areas, Northern Ireland, a referendum in 1973 The same Britain gave another one of its Regions, Scotland, a referendum in 2014. There was no need for any war. But if Britain had said "we are one Britain" "The unity of Britain is not negotiable" "We must be one" By now, Britain would have been at war with its self. Britain is a far more civilised country and uses referendum in situations where Nigerians use guns and bullets. Britain even used referendum to leave the EU last year |
The remarkable thing about the Asaba massacre, one of the great sacriledges commited in Igbo land, waa that the man who commited this war crime, General Murtala Mohammed of cursed memory, is today regarded by some people as a hero. A war criminal, coup plotter, pychotic killer and a failed Soldier is who Nigeria put on the N20 note and named and International Airport after? Nigeria has a long history of honouring criminals. Im just happy that Dimka later wasted that evil man called Murtala Mohammed as well Col Taiwo for the genocide they commited in Asaba. |
