VTJN: I only know of two schools that painstakingly exempt Nigerians from taking English test
University of Stavanger and university of Toronso
You can share any other schools you know doesn't required English test Norwegian university of Science and technology Inland Norwegian University of Applied Sciences University of Tromsø University of Bergen |

Ge0grapher: Oga start preparing for an English test... Most applications are rejected based on inability to provide English test score ..
Even if they don't reject it, your admission might be conditional pending when you make your test score available.. that's for Norway.
Write Toefle or IELTS.. even if u get 6.5 it's better. I'm confused where are you getting your information from? Most universities in Norway exempt Nigerian students(except one isn't here) from writing the standardized tests... I do know that University of Oslo requires it of us, but a majority don't... Please let's be careful about the information spread here. I'll also advice everyone perform due diligence by doing further research. |

Olasewa: Hi everyone, please I need a suggestion on the best schools to apply for my study visa In the next admission openings. I need someone to put me through. I’m thinking I should apply for Msc at NTNU,UiO,UiS. Those are very good schools, Norwegian universities are up to standard. However you should do your research on the course of study offered at each of them, the requirements, documents, for example UiO requires IELTS(do confirm), the city, some schools have better departments they excel at than others etc... Just do your due diligence... Feel free to ask any more questions |

Maureenho: My name is Maureen and I join Nairaland Community through a friend recommendation. I recently got admitted in a Masters course at the University of Vienna, Austria. I am stuck with some requirements that I need an urgent response from people already in Austria or those with wide knowledge about how things work over there. I have gotten almost all the requirements except Evidence of accommodation and health insurance. Most of the accommodation I have seen online are way too costly to pay for and taking the fact that Vienna is a big and costly city as I was informed on researches I have made. Can I book for accommodation in another city I got admitted? Does anyone know the best way to go about the prove of Accommodation? Does anyone know the cheapest accommodation( Dormitory, shared apartments, hotels etc) i can pay for? I got travel insurance already and I don't know if i must get Health insurance before travelling or when I have arrived at Austria? Is AXe Sheghen Insurance company good company to use for my insurance or is there anyone i can use. I am not in Nigeria at present and I reside in Singapore. Please I need some clarifications from your wonderful inputs. Hello Maureenho. Were you able to solve your accomodation and insurance issues? I am applying to the University of Vienna this year... Do you mind if I send an email? Thanks |

Victoryloaded: Thanks so much for the answer sir
You mean International student offered admission in 2020 can enter Norway now ? No border closure to intl students ?
Thanks I saw on Facebook where some students said they'd landed. Unfortunately I didn't take note of what schools... Quarantine is required though. Please email the school(s), it's the surefire way to get concrete info. |

Victoryloaded: Hello,
I have few questions please and I'll appreciate answers urgently please.
1)Which universities in Norway are allowing international students into the country at the moment ?
2) Which university do u know that is offering Economics/Finance students fully scholarship?
3) When are universities there expected to resume new session?
I'll appreciate answers please and if you are vast in Norway visa for international students, kindly drop ur contact and I'll reach out.
Thank you. 1. It's not about Norwegian universities allowing international students, it's about Norway allowing international students into the country. Most universities have information concerning this on their admissions page. 2. Public universities and colleges in Norway do not charge tuition fees, as such they are already offering you scholarships (kinda?). I have no idea about private schools, check their websites. 3. This year is turning out dicey but 2020 students were supposed to resume this January(see 1). Non- pandemically, schools generally resume August to September for Autumn semester. |

OluOla2019: Thank you for your prompt response. I graduated with a CGPA of 3.67 out of 5.0. I'm considering the Master programs in Global health and Environmental Toxicology at University of Bergen and NTNU respectively. That's a good result, please do apply. I hope you know though, that applications for those schools are closed right now but will open again later in the year. |

OluOla2019: Can I apply to different schools via the online application? As many as you want and can fulfill the requirements. You keep certain things in mind though: Your CGPA, transcripts issues and cost, proof of funds and such. |
