Can someone that booked a return ticket and travelled on the '1st leg' of the journey get a refund if he/she does not want to embark on the 'return leg'? If yes, what are the steps to follow for emirates airline and what percentage of the fare would be refunded? |
pator: Pls house I want to confirm if airlines provide temporary hotel accomodation during stopovers. The emirate I want to book has a stop over of about 19 hours in Dubai and I will be with 2 kids. If there won't be hotel I might have 2 change the flight because of the kids. Pls kindly advice. |
I think they provide accommodation for passengers whose flights have long stop overs. U can contact their Nigeria office to confirm. The phone no is ön their website. Alternatively, you can go for other options with 8hrs or less than 2hrs stop over pator: Pls house I want to confirm if airlines provide temporary hotel accomodation during stopovers. What options are available for someone with a Bsc in Nursing? |
Congratulations ladyboss: Ok guys: Here it is. |
cenobs007: Thanks.from what i saw on their site, you can pay with Visa, mastercard, Amex, or Discover. You can try it. I paid with GTB ATM(mastercard). As for the billing address, I used the account holder's name c/o the US host's address. my thinking is that they will send the reciept of payment to that address and that's the reason i used it. Mind you, the account holder is in Nigeria. |
cenobs007: Under the page where I want to pay for the Green Card for $165, I am being ask to provide a "routing number" and "billing address". Can somebody please explain this to me.Routing number is required if you are paying thru a bank account. if you want to pay using your mastercard, choose the 'plastic card' option |
ferdimako: That was too much from GTB. Remember 165USD is half of 330USD and people pay N54,500 at the Embassy for one person. GTB is robbing folks!sorry, i quoted that figure in error. i've modified my post. |
ogbonlowob: Thanks so much! The amount of =N=62,625.00 that was debited from your account; does it represent the value of 165USD per head for USCIS or how many persons did you pay for?Its per head i.e $165. I paid for only one person |
ogbonlowob: Pls. kindly let me know what u filled for billing address: is it the address of ur local bank that will b billed or ur local house address or the address of ur host in US? ThanksI guess you can use ur naija address but I used c/o the host address in the US. I was debittd #26,625 by GTB for the payment |
joeonye: Hello house, just got my visa.its a miracle.after al security check, was called to submit our doc,d naija guy collectin d doc told my wife "u hv a1 in maths n she said yes,e den asked a question in maths which she didn't knw,dat rili dis stabilized us.......but we got bera b4 d interview strtedCongratulations |
ferdimako: That settles it...pay with your naira GTB mastercard debit card.No need to open dorm acct. If you don't have, put equivalent of 165USD to your pal's account, assuming he has and pay.Whether debit alert comes or not it's not a problem, either GTB's fault or you've not enabled that feature. The system converts to dollars and charges ur naira acct. Thanks |
Godhelpmeooo: through my master card(GTB)before i traveledI've paid the USCIS immigrant fee($165) using my GTB mastercard (naira) and I got a confirmation email. However, I'm yet to get a debit alert from GTB. What should I do next or expect? |

jidex001: You can pay with naira master card. In the account holder's name and billing address, you will write d name of the owner of the mastercard and his address. You can pay anytime before he travels. Thanks |
Good morning all, Pls, i need answers to some questions about payong for the USCIS fee. I want to pay for my brother using my GTB naira mastercard. The qustions are: 1. can i pay with the naira mastercard card or do i need a domiciliary card 2. what should i fill in the spaces for "account holder name" and "billing address" 3. When is the best time to pay. He intends to travel by the end of May or early June. Thanks |
Congratulations junkerhill: Congrats bro. Dancing Azonto for you unto the Lord. |

He pain me 4 d guy... That's it folks smiled out of the embassy, filled with joy. It has been what my prayers has been based on for close to a year now, i got out of the interview hall, tipped the securities and bowed to Allah for his goodness and mercies upon me. Alhamdulilai YES LORD, MarylanD here i come[/quote]Congratulations. Better late than never |
