PoliticsRe: Buhari Approves Appointment Of Ipaye, Akande As DCOS, SSA (PHOTO) by AustineE1: 7:12pm On Sep 03, 2015
Like serious PMB is messing around with this kind of appointments, who is he trying to deceive, giving out irrelevant positions to others and some gullible people are already hoodwinked into thinking that he is balancing the appointments.
Cant the deputy be given the privilege of appointing his P.As,no wonder the office of the deputy president in Nigeria,is more or less a glorified house keeper.
Meanwhile rather than this type of appointments,he better dont remember my People,so that we can observe from the side-line and be more motivated towards our common 'goal',without distractions.

The likes of FFK would always want to play on the minds of dimwits and the gullible.
FFK should show what benefit his years as aviation minister and presidential director had on his region.
Its obvious you are a local champion, your comments always betrays you as one who is shallow minded. Leave the messenger alone and tackle the message,if you have any senses at all,you should be ashamed of PMBs actions or inactions ever since he took over as president. He is gradually sowing a seed that may soon destroy this nation.
All this means is that there are no competent and qualified people from other parts of Nigeria and all of a sudden, you northerners just realised that 'it doesnt matter where people come from,as long as they will perform'. No more your usual mantra of 'quota system' and 'federal character principle'. Then we must urge the president to order unity schools and federal establishments to stop the different 'cut-off' marks for different zones and lets go in with thesame conditions for federal jobs, schools and every other things.PMB shld equally fund the nation with resources only from the north.
I pity your lots,PMB may just be the last president of a united Nigeria. If he continues with his hausa-fulani agenda.

can you tell us who was the deputy and the people that supported Balewa in the first republic

Can you tell us who was the deputy and the people who voted Shagari in the second republic

Can you tell us who was the deputy and the people who voted Bashir Tofa in the third republic

Why did a whole Okadigbo agree to be a servant to a Hausa man

Why did another prominent Ume Ezeoke agree to be a servant to Hausa man
I will take your questions after the other, you should be ashamed of your people, was it not your brother Obasanjo who rather than hand over to Obafemi Awolowo, decided to change goal post over night and instead handed over to your Fulani Hausa master(Shagari)through an obnoxious electoral rule.Stating 'over his dead body will Awolowo rule Nigeria'.

Secondly,Inspite of the overwhelming support for Abiola yet he choose an Hausa-Fulani muslim as his deputy in a Muslim-Muslim ticket, rather than middlebelt christian,as never have been seen in a democratic Nigeria. This propelled some christians from the East, south south and middlebelt to rather support a Bashir Tofa with a christian deputy (left with a choice of choosing btw the devil and the deep blue sea).Yet your Hausa master still imprisoned Abiola, ridiculed and made jest of him,as usual.
Finally,Okadigbo choose to be a deputy to PMB but again as a self liberated tribe which Ndigbo are,we never voted for them, unlike the 'sophisticated' perpetual servants who lined up before him because he choose a 'mere commissioner' Osibanjo as a deputy,in the worst form of master-servant relationship.
PoliticsRe: Open Question: How Many Ijaw Men Are Agitating For Igbo President? by AustineE1: 2:58am On Aug 26, 2015
Yes we igbos are very proud to have supported a minority tribe, inspite of the institutionalized marginalization of the minorites. Our culture forbids injustice and encourages equality to all, with emphasis on merit.
My big question is,why do yorubas always stoop so low to see that their Hausa-Fulani masters always rule over them and yet hausa-Fulanis only see Yorubas as their Allah made perpetual servants. The dorminance and take over of(Illorin)kwara state and instantly installing a Fulani-Hausa emir, the subjection of Yorubas in some part of Kogi as a conquered lots are only but a few of the Master-Slave relationship....and some people are okay with it,in other not to provoke their ferocious master. So bad!

PoliticsRe: Message To All Yoruba People On The Ownership Of Lagos. By... Edwin Uko Philip by AustineE1: 8:05am On Aug 23, 2015
zuchyblink:
Message to All Yoruba People on the
Ownership of Lagos.
By... Edwin Uko Philip
ON THE OWNERSHIP OF LAGOS! Lagos is a
Portuguese name meaning lagoon, the
name became needful when the invaders
saw that the place was similar to the Lagos
in their country, with reference to it
topography.(confirm from the map of
Portugal) Lagos originally called EKO a word
meaning 'war camp' in the Edo language,
showing that the territory was owned and
administered by the Oba of Benin. The
battle for the soul of Lagos began towards
the end of the 19th century and was fully
actualised in the 1900s,
when England abandoned the slave trade
following the industrial revolution. The
overthronment of Oba Akitoye by king
Kosoko and the returned of Akitoye
through the help of Britain and his
subsequent dead, his successor chief
Dosumu lack of strong will to effect the stop
of the slave after it was outlawed, paved
way for the full take over the territory by
the British, as a port town, it serves
England's interest. Typical of all port cities
be it Liver pool or Miami it is bound to be
cosmopolitan, with people everywhere
converging for business.
Of all the people that have ever governed
Lagos non originally is from the place,
Jakande-Kwara, Tinubu-Osun, Fashola-Ekiti,
Ambode-Ondo, Oba of Lagos-Ogun. The
dominance of the Yoruba people in the city
is a matter of proximity and no other, the
word 'EKO' been the original name of the
place has no meaning in the yoruba
language and the nearest in sound to the
word is 'OKO' meaning 'cassava farm' now
if the place was a swamp how then do you
plant cassava there?
Which suggest a missing link, who owns the
place should give the name. The current
native and immigrant war, currently on
going in the city state and targeting at non
Yoruba is a misplaced priority and the
archives should be visited and should be
traced down to the reign of Oba ORHOGBUA
the foremost ruler of the ancient Benin
kingdom,
otherwise the debate will be on ending and
the fight will amount to seating history on it
head.
some people wont like this fact......'truth is constant,no matter long it takes'.
If you bury a lie it rots, but if you bury truth,it sprouts over and over again.

Sycophancy has been taken to a new height in Nigeria...i just hope this government wont end up in ruins. Lets be critical, factual and devoid of sentiments,so that we can get the best from our leaders. We the youths must rise and join the rest of the free world,we must put our leaders on the hot seat, they must be up and doing.
PoliticsMuch Ado About 'buhari's Body Language'! by AustineE1(op): 2:15pm On Aug 22, 2015
Recently, those of us who are conversant with political happenings in Nigeria, has been inundated with terms like 'Buhari's body language' or 'PMB's body language'!It is an expression coined by APC propagandist to explain away why certain positive developments that takes place even without any contribution from our 'Baba go-slow',probably as a result of measures put in place by former regime of GEJ.
Right now,it is a common knowledge that our economy is on the downward drive, one of the reasons being that PMB has failed to constitute an economic team that will help move the economy forward. The last visit of Mr.President to the united states of America, was reported to be a very disappointing one because as usual with this government, they went unprepared. But APC defence line would be nothing else than that Buhari's 'body language' has convinced Obama that Nigeria is indeed ready to fight corruption, security and our numerous economic challanges.
Finally, isnt it time the president and his retinue of propagandist save us this 'body language' and the president should hit the ground running. We need action,Nigeria is dying,we need a president who is prepared to revive our ailing economy.
PoliticsRe: Dogara Fired At Tinubu: Godfatherism Must Be Killed, It Is Corruption by AustineE1: 7:37am On Aug 22, 2015
Godfatherism if channeled positively may not harm the polity but
godfatherism as practised by the likes of Tinubu,Obasanjo etc is nothing short of occultism,as all sorts of evil are applied just to attain the common goal of dorminance, power, clannish control and megalomanism. It only strives against the common interest of the masses and revels with impunity,in the worst form of corruption known to mankind.
If we dont put an end to negative godfatherism, then it will put an end to the peaceful co-existence of Nigeria. All i see is self interest.
PoliticsRe: Senate Crisis: Saraki’s Loyalists Beg Buhari: The Nation by AustineE1: 7:13am On Aug 22, 2015
PMB may end up ruining himself and this country altogether,he has surrounded himself with sycophants and unnecessary propagandists.People who give him impression that he is all powerful,a super being.
All you keep hearing,PMBs body language,PMBs that PMBs this, some people are taking sycophancy to another level.Like the former American sec.of state puts it,'We do not need a strong man to succeed but rather,we need strong institutions'. PMB was there in the eighties and aggressively imposing his war against indiscipline and corruption, when he left, we fell back to an all time low, because he failed to build strong institutions, the emphasis was on a strong personality.
'Not to have a sense of history,is to remain a child forever'.....for me 'i have seen giants fallen'.

forgiveness:
Then, what is the meaning of kirijji?
In the book,Kiriji was refered to as a war slogan used by the Ekiti Parapo, just like the way you often hear our modern Army tag operations with a name eg operation 'Ruwan Zafi'.
PoliticsRe: KIRIJI : The World's Longest Civil War By Any Ethnic Group by AustineE1: 8:09pm On Aug 17, 2015
Op pls do not misinform the populace, atleast we read about the Kiriji war and no where was it mentioned that Ekiti Parapo or Ibadan purchased canon guns.It was stated clearly from the book i read, that the war was notable for its use of charms, even Obadoke Latoosa whom you said was a general, was refered to as a notorious babalawo(native doctor). I dont know where you got your story line from, its full of sensationalism.
And history puts it that the war only ended when the Fulanis joined the Oyo empire and it was observed that their intention was to take over the entire Yoruba land, and equaly enslave the populace, this made the war weary yorubas to immediately call for a truce....the book simply puts it that the coming of the Fulanis was the game changer. Pls get your facts right.

Am not my dear, its just that i kept seeing beaf among Yorubas,Fayose vs Obasanjo,FFK vs Tinubu,Fashola vs Tinubu,Ambode vs Abgaje,Bode George etc its just an innocent observation.
PoliticsRe: It Was Sacrilegious For APC Governors To Boycott Ooni’s Burial – Afenifere by AustineE1: 2:04pm On Aug 17, 2015
Why is there so much hate among Yorubas,if its not Modakeke vs Ife tribal war,or the Alaye boys in one street attacking the Alaye boys in another street,or the battle of touts on who governs a particular motor park, yoruba politicians vs their elders,Obas vs their followers,or the Odis in Ode refered as slaves by the so called Yoruba free born.
This culture of hate is been transfered from their land to other innocent ethnic groups in Nigeria.
The question is,why is their so much hate among the yorubas?
PoliticsRe: We Are All Biafra - The FCT Post by AustineE1: 8:43am On Aug 17, 2015
'There was a country'called Biafra,we wld have forgotten that country but yet everyday you wake up to the same reality that brought about the quest for it. The old order that has held Nigeria to its knees, will never let us attain an egalitarian society, where people are not denied their due rights because of their ethnicity, religion and believe, where merit, equity and justice reigns supreme.A land where you are encouraged to optimize your potentials without victimization, where quota system is abolished,a land where a boy from the south-East and a girl from the North-West makes it into the universities with the same cut-off mark etc only then can the spirit of Biafra be laid to rest, though it will forever live in our hearts.God bless us.

PoliticsThreads On Ndigbo Makes Up 70% Of Politics Section;a Phenomenon And An Enigma! by AustineE1(op): 8:07am On Aug 17, 2015
A singaporean based in Dubai said he was surfing for a Nigerian website because he wanted to know more about Nigeria, since he intends coming to Nigeria and probably setting up some Eateries with his Nigerian friends.Lo and behold,he said he is a guest on Nairaland and often times,he logs in to the investment and politics section.
So we got discussing and he asked me what part of Nigeria am i from,I said South-East and he quickly said;you are an Igbo man and i answered in the affirmative. He said that he was almost meant to believe that Igbos are 80-85% total population of Nigeria.Since almost all Nigerians he has come across in his many travels around the world are Igbos.Infact that every other day he logs in to politics section on Nairaland, its always two or more thread on Igbos.
But that on wikipedia,Igbos population is put only about 25% of the entire Nigerian population. Then,he questioned;how was it possible that the Igbo ethnic group could make up for almost all the business men, professionals, entertainers and sports men and women of Nigerian descent he has come across. In his words,He said 'Igbos must be a phenomenon and an enigma, what a great people'.
At that point some other people came to join us at our table,we started discussing other things.
I learnt one thing from the encounter, that the more people discuss about the Igbos, the more popular we are and it becomes our selling point. 'Our detractors are our helpers',forward ever and backward never,we must as a people remain focus and make use of our cultural advantage of hardwork over others.
God bless us.

This is absolute nonsense,we shall not and will never negotiate with those terrorists cum mercenaries. I ve said it times without numbers that many northern elites are culpable in this evil called boko haram that has befallen Nigeria.
Where federal govt led by GEJ was busy fighting the group, some northern governors were busy pushing state allocations to this group,in the guise that they are bargaining for their states not to be bombed.
We want the names of they governors involved, how they fund is being channeled to the group, how much was involved, when the fund was given to them, their links to the group and other necessary information. This northern elite orchestrated deception and conspiracy must and shld be unravelled by the necessary authorities.
Nigerians must speak out or remain silent forever,'evil strives when good men keep quiet in the face of evil'.
Meanwhile,we can not grant amnesty to a deviish terrorist group that has put much pains on Nigerians.

As much as most Nigerians wld want to see the thieving elites probed, face the full wrath of the law and our money returned,we must also desist from politicising it. Cramjones or whatever you are called, you dont seem to me as one who cld have access to privilege information, you are still uncouth, for refering to Oritsejafor as being very corrupt, while no court has found him guilty of such.
The campaigns are long over, yet this is the best time to mobilize the support of Nigerians to key into the policy drive of this government, rather than putting out sensational reportage that cld act negatively on the sensitivity of sections of this country and there by undermine the effort of the government.
