Who is this 'charge and bail' barrister! |
bigtt76:i may nt totally subscribe to what Op has written but for you to now bring up the issue of a Buhari who is so confused and ill-prepared for 21st century governance is highly despicable. Cant you see our beloved country seems to be going down the drain,Buharis situation is a case of 'the soul is willing but the flesh is weak'. i will rest my case here, not because i lack what to write but simply because i still cannt come to terms with the fact that many of us, even the very 'learned' among us were all gullible and fell into the deceptic mantra of 'change'. The question is 'how did we find ourselves in such an ill-prepared leadership? Again I weep for my country! |
I cant help laughing when i read the line that said 'Buhari is a fast reader'....lol! |
levelszik:gbam! |
.....you people keep looking for imaginary enemies. What is more dangerous and threat to national security than your president always having to visit London for medical care, you think the west and Isreal dont have every details of the man from Daura and you think if at any time he goes against the interest of those that matters in international politics,he may not live to tell his stories. If our butter and bread security men says Aso Villa was bugged, they should debug it and lets move ahead, too much time wasting, accusations and excuses seems to be the hallmark of this administration. |
To think that these billionaires are from Nnewi and equally has a company or branches of their businesses in Nnewi, gives one a lot to think about. The likes of illodibe owner of Ekene dilichukwu transports,Orizu transports from the great families Nwafor Orizu,Izuchukwu transports,Ekesons groups,Chukwuma innocent of innosen motors, chief Gabriel chukwuma(GABROS),Chikason,Ibeto groups,Cosharis groups,Ifeanyi uba of capital oil and so on and so forth, the list is endless!I wont forget in a hurry the display of amazing vehicles at the 2nd Nnewi international Auto Trade Fair held at the Beverly Hills Hotels(Gabros sports complex) on the last quater of 2009 and critics were silenced. Anambra adigo mma! Chukwu gozie umu igbo! |
Wildrage:you got it wrong,THE CABLE to me is better than SAHARAREPORTERS,the individuals mentioned above have a stake on who becomes a minister because unlike average Nigerians, they looted our commonwealth in the worst form of impunity and then invested it into the presidential quest of the old man from Daura (PMB) and as usual they intend to get their returns.....its a pity we now find ourselves in a vicious circle of endless corruptn rather than the much anticipated change. |
I read with dismay the level of ignorance exhibited in this forum,at one point someone was even giving an assumed exemplary position from alorasealords site, which to me is the most cynical thing i have heard in my recent past, thesame Buccaneers who denied their school(deck)members and deceptively registered as (BAN)Brothers Across Nigeria with the CAC. In another instance someone was lumping (NAS)national ass.of seadogs aka Pyrate confraternity with other pseudo-fraternities whose interest lies in just supremacy battles within themselves. From all available information obtainable,Pyrates left higher institutions in the early eighties,as a result of an order at the supreme pyrate conference, demanding the withdrawal and subsequent dissolving of all ABC decks and authority handed over to the zonal capns(state leaders). We ve all heard of fracas in different universities between the various cult groups that exit in our universities and now being the era of information technology,i challenge anyone to bring out any news of killings involving NAS also known as Pyrate confraternity. While most other groups are still faced with teething problems, seadogs as they are called, has been in the fore front of anti-cultism battles in our higher institutions, demanding total justice for victims of cult wars, carrying out seminars in this regard, infact their magazine known as 'Armada',has a colum for Nigeria police and security matters and tips, they international charity organ known as NASIC has long attained an enviable height as good ambassadors,as recognised by UN,USA,Britain etc. NAS also has a strong election monitoring organ which works in tandem with other reknowned international electoral monitoring bodies in checkmating the excesses of our politicians etc it is most degrading to lump NAS with these psendo-fraternities that may be criminally inclined.I said this because i have privilege information about the various fraternities in Nigeria. I hope sooner than latter these other groups must endeavour to sanitize themselves of hostility against others and assume a leadership training role,as obtainable in higher climes. |
Buhari truly may not be comfortable with the level of influence Tinubu is planning to assume and being that Saraki is a 'blue' blood Fulani, which raises the issue of tribal fraternity as against party interest. As an observer of political developments in Nigeria,i for once knows that Buhari was indirectly informed of the event that may take place on the day of the national assembly elections and that explains why the president was so much in a hurry to recognise the leadership, despite his parties position. No doubt Tinubu and his southern colleagues must brace up for a new kind of political game in Nigeria and now that both ss/se are ever ready to get back at Tinubu and his tribes men at all cost, they days ahead wont be funny for Tinubu, the party i guess is over, its definately a pay back time...I only wish the interest of Nigeria will come first, till then i will only watch from the side line. |
People must learn to appreciate change and transformation, this is new Nigeria where everything is possible...meanwhile kudos to the tenacity of the PDP senators who got back to be part of the leadership of the national assembly.Am also looking forward to Mr president in the true spirit of change,to appoint technocrats and professionals from any party as his minister, Nigeria must come first. |
o42austino:i do not have issues with your right of association as enshrined in the constitutn of the federal rep. of Nigeria, however some pertinent questns beg for answers. 1. Supreme Vikings confraternity was formed in 1982 as well as norsemen Kclub, what a coincidence. 2.where you ever a member of vikings confra in your school days? 3.in all fairness, can you authoritatively deny the fact that 99.5% of all norsemen were members of SVC in school? 4.Are you saying that the fracas normally witnessed in Nigeria higher institutns btw Baggars(SVC) and other pseudo-fraternities,especially the other group that claims their origin from Futa Jallon, has nothing to do with your members in school or are you entirely denying other Aromates in school, just because you ve now gratuated and continued as Norsemen....hope you are not already 'hanging one leg'. |
bolaino:...even fools, when they keep quiet, people assume them to be wise!....BTW PMB must start the cleansing from inside, only so can some of us key into his social re-engineering program.Am pro PDP but will want Nigeria to change for the better and hoping we are not in for a rough ride in this present APC government. |
vedaxcool:lack of adequate information dampens the mind! |
I just followed the news on Ghana TV,its actually a fuel fire explosion at the filling station in Accra and because of the 12 hr heavy down pour that flooded the whole Area, people were taking shelter in their cars and near by offices and houses, when the fuel explosion happened and presently about 90 people has died....our heart felt sympathy for them, may their souls Rest in perfect peace. |
So bad! |
We better pray is not true.....we cant watch our beloved Africa fall into the hand of terrorist!we already have too many unresolved crisis in west Africa and we pray Ghana dont also fall into this but it may also be a fuel tanker explosion. |
The gallant syrian fighter shouldnt allow revenge take over his sense of reasoning,he did well by killing the islamist but no need beheading him,we as christians have our guiding principles to life and must not behave like the forbidden once, who go around boasting of their evil ways and atrocities........'an eye for an eye gets everyone blind'! May God continue to strengthen the gallant syrian fighters against the dare devil ISIL |
So sad, just when we think we are getting things right in Anambra, this tragedy occured.....may their souls rest in peace and may God console their families. This calls for proactive measures by the state government, this is the time to work out a solution. |
Victoria acerta!!! |
Buhari must also endeavour to probe his own campaign team, how did they raise the huge amount they used for his campaign when workers have nt been paid their salaries....Amaechi,Tinubu,Atiku,kwankwaso,Aregbe,Rochas,Amosun etc comes to mind. |
Didnt Boko haram say that one of the conditions for cessation of hostilities is by GEJ being removed as president and the presidency given to a muslim or is GMB no longer a muslim! |
GMB must endeavour to bring in the best minds and technocrats of Nigerian descent from any part of the world to help put Nigeria back to our rightful position, the time for partisanship is over, the party is over,he must get down to work. The first principle of anti corruption is meritocracy,we must put square pegs in square holes and God will see our effort as a nation and then bless us. |
The air was filled with expectations, the streets were thronged by PDP party followers, the day was 29th May 2015.The Gov. Elect of Ebonyi State Gov.Dave Umahi took to the podium with his inaugural speech and against all expectations,he shocked his Divine Mandate Campaign Organisation by appointing Prof.Ben Ifeanyi Odoh, senatorial candidate of APGA in the last National Assembly elections as the Secretary to the State Government. A sudden disquietness beclouded the environment and this should be the template other elected officers should take, especially Mr.President,at a time we need all we can to put this country back in the right track. Prof.Ifeanyi Odoh who was appointed by the Ebonyi state governor was said to have distinguished himself in his choosen profession and stands out among equals. The governor deemed it right to bring in the best minds around inspite of party differences,to salvage the crippling economy of Ebonyi State. Source:we they on the field reporters!!! |
In another news, two guys were killed some days back in Jos plateau state and their death were related to a cult war in that state btw the usual suspects A*e men vs v*kings confra!....so bad. |
oneeast1:why the insult,i thought it was just a friendly discussion.BTW it will definately work in Awka the state capital, since there are just pockets of businesses there, with more of the organised corporate sector, administrative headquarters, civil servants, students, hotels, entertainment etc But Onitsha and Nnewi may be a hard nut for the goverbor to crack, with the volume of transactions going on in this two zones and the number of Nigerians and foriegners, especially from neigbouring countries like cameroun,Guinea,Gabon,Togo etc coming in for one transaction or the other,it may be difficult. But thankGod it is not a total ban but on few selected highways, which will enhance more security and safety of life. |
From ashes to ashes, dust to dust.....at times like this,is when we realise the emptiness life,i pray that his soul creates a divine rapport with heavenly bodies.RIP |
size40:am sorry to say this, you sound so empty.....allocations of all the states within the period GEJ ruled is available online and just few days ago,the finance minister,Dr Okonjo Iweala brought out the amount recieved by each state from the excess crude account. If not for the dearth in values and poor societal orientation, this is when youths should be holding their governors to accountability and ask questions on how their common wealth was squandered. Amaechi and his ilks are the reason Nigeria may find it hard to get it right. |
I cant help thinking that we may be in for a mess, the incoming APC government looks so much unprepared to lead Nigerian out of our present predicament. The campaigns are over,APC should face the work they were elected to do and shun unnecessary propaganda, you can not govern a nation on mere propaganda, very soon even the most faithful APC devotees will start questioning their actions or in actions. 'you can decieve some of the people some the times but not all the people all the times'. |

....he had to go and we all ensured he left at the right time. We will salvage Nigeria and when its stable again, we might help bring him back as a Local Government Councillor .....for he needs to get the basic training in governance before heading to the pinnacle.
Why would a full grown man want to ba called a dog, I just don't get it. I personally do not like Dogs, and to think we have a SAN who is a Dog, it's embarrassing.
