I don't get what you mean by seeing documents.. what I want is to be able to check my application status and any other update as regards my application when I click ''submitted application or profile'' as directed in the message I received.
You should be able to see all updates on your application now that you have succesfully linked it online. Since you haven't seen any update on your account dashboard, it means there is no update to your application yet. Once there is,You will get a notification to check your account to see the update(That's if you ticked d check-box to get updates once there is any with your email address) So make sure this check box is ticked in your account. You will be notified once there is an update.

I have enough funds to cover the payment. I also tried someone else's card. It declined as well
It was on the news recently that due to current volatility in the foreign exchange market, banks will suspend the usage of NAIRA DEBIT card online for transactions priced in foreign currencies. It's possible this is affecting the completion of your transaction. You need to contact your bank(s) for update and clarification.

Hello house.
I just received a mail from cic accra telling me that I need further medical examinations. I have a couple of questions. Please help me.
1) Should I be scared? Because I genuinely am already.
2) Does anyone know the reason for this? I believe I don't have any health condition apart from short sightedness and being fat. I belive fatness is not a disease.
3) Did anyone know someone who had to do another medical examination?
4) Do I have to pay for the new examination?

Please I need serious help. Gurus please help me.
God will bless you as you do.
Cheers.
Since you've been asked to go for further test, proceed for it. This could just be for additional test details to further clarify the one you previously did or for new information. Only CIC can know the exact reason for this. So I think you still can meet their requirement after further test, if not, they would have refused you for being inadmissible to canada on health grounds.
As regards, your other questions, Where you did your medical test should be able to satisfactorily give you answers to these questions. I'll say, worry-less(this could increase your blood pressure if you do), go for the test, leave the rest. You still have a good chance to getting your study permit. All the best to you.

i didnt even know why you responded to him with all that full page of notes.the lady has funding if not almost full funding for her duration of study in canada.that is to say it was a proof of funds coupled with that in her sponsor's account which to me it seems adequate..so i don't know why some people wouldn't go thorough on posts before "blabbing garbages"
It's quite unfortunate. Individuals should endeavour to go through someone's profile properly before they make conclusions and inferences or even ask questions when in doubt. Some words used can be offensive to the other person. It cost nothing to ask questions for clarity. It's good the issue has been addressed. Nice one.

It's a big lie, why fooling yourself? I don't know what u will achieve in lying, VO are not fools.
I don't think its fair to outrightly say he/she is lying. The issue of availability of funds I believe is always seen from an applicant's case. Most time a SOA with very good debit and credit can pass for sufficient funds even without the total amount sufficiently available as at the time of application. Well,i also believe for a self sponsored applicant, availability of tuition fees and money for living expenses may have to be in the account as at when applying while showing a proven and reliable source of income for subsequent years in a case where the program is more than a year. This can't be said exactly for a sponsored applicant with credible and reliable sponsorship like parents and maybe blood relatives with proven relationships. I want to think these VO knows that no matter the amount you present to them, u most likely won't take all at once as they also are aware of foreign exchange regulations of applicant's country. So IMO a good inflow and outflow SOA from a CREDIBLE sponsor may still suffice during application while also considering the available closing balance. A good in-flow into same account may yield adequate funds to cover both tuition and living expenses over the period of the study. Remember, people apply months to resumption and they can still get adequate funds before a decision is finally made on their application. Also note, Some tuition r paid per term, living expenses r also calculated per month..So while I believe this can be applicable to a sponsored applicant, I can't say same about a SELF sponsored applicant. Different case applies here. So it's very possible TRV was issued with a Credible sponsorship with that closing balance.

the rest was said via phone call. Please is this really true
I think all they are trying to insinuate here is that should you decide to reapply again for a study permit, they will aid the new application by deferring your admission to the next available term and have the fees you've paid already transferred and reflect as payment for the new term all for free. Possibly there is always a fee charged for such action. I doubt they can assist directly in any application for study permit. They will only give you documents eg. Acceptance letter,Payment receipt just to support ur app.

@Austenpee4....thanks a lot for the info. but please how do I prove to them? Is it by letter of explanation that I will meet up.
Well, let say the condition on your offer is to mail your official transcript to your prospective uni, you can prove you can meet this by showing maybe a mail correspondence requesting you previous uni to send ur transcripts to the prospective, if you have made payment to get it sent, you can include receipts, etc.
This is just a case scenerio. Condition of admission differs as the case may be but a good way to show and prove that you can meet them is through documentation,(copy of mails, transaction receipts, results slips etc). Just include doc that reflect you have or trying to meet the condition on your offer. Hope this helps.

Thanks
If you are applying for a TRV with a conditional offer of admission, You may want to prove and show that you can meet the condition on your offer.Generally, alot of people get their TRV with conditional admission..Depending on your condition(s) of admission, try and show you can meet it/them and i believe you'l be just fine.

I am a 31yrs old single banker in lagos. With BSc Maths/stats 2.1 (4.03/5) unilag. I am look ing At Msc Finance or finance related in canada. 5 yrs banking experience.
I need a uni with affordable tution, no GMAT , January resumption. I don taya , I don't see my future in banking.
I hav scanned thru previous threads.
Would appreciate your advice.
Thank u.
The best advise for you is to start looking Up for schools that fits into your details through google ASAP as most uni have already reached the application deadline for international prospective student for january start. You still could find one or two that still have january intake open for your desired program. Your best tool right now is GOOGLE..You'll find it very resourceful but you need to start right away. The application process for Msc can be cumbersome.

you don't have your transcrpits? I thought initially it was WES evaluation
You can use this WES tool http://www.wes.org/students/igpacalc.asp . It's easy and will help you calculate your GPA on the 4.0 scale which most north american sch use. hope it helps.

Hello everyone,
I have been reading and following this thread for sometime now and i must commend the effort as regards giving vital information ,contributions to people. I also will like to encourage all TRV hopefuls esp the Pgd/pgc applicant, Hopefully, It will turn out well. A friend of mine was in this position of uncertainty abt his application(PGC) last year for 4 and a half months preceding the day the finally got his approval mail.According to him, he tackled all all areas(sufficiency of fund, reason to come back, family ties, relationship with sponsor and MOST importantly, GOING TO STUDY) even did an upfront medicals and then left it in God's hand with great patience.

Well, this year it's appearing TRV issuing have been reviewed with stringent conditions.Understandable, I believe the situation of our country is responsible for this and applications are being scrutinized to actually fish out application that fall short of the main reason to travel, TO STUDY!
VO are trained psychologist , their job is to look out for things that just doesn't add up,the advantages of having you in their country, will you be a threat, reading between the lines of each documents submitted, the 'WHY and HOWs'.Your intentions may be genuine but they have loads of application to review and some people may not have the same intentions as you.
So please for those intending to apply for a TRV, esp the PGC/PGD which to me is also a gud program to upgrade academically depending on ur educational situation, U'l have to convince the VO beyond just the amount of money in ur acct, sponsors acct, LOP, consistency in program of study, etc. A little inconsequential thing like ur previous engagements that will suggest to the VO that you truly are not desperate to travel cos of the situation of the country can really suffice. In really sense, Canada needs you more than you need them bt truthfully, the want the brightest, the smartest and the determined to help their country. They are gradually tilting to the US Immigration strength because the VO knows the brightest, smartest will have a lot of incentives that will make them want to stay back and contribute to their economy.
Those awaiting a respond from CIC, Don't give up yet. It's not yet over till you win! The wait is actually terrible but sooner or later, you would have forgotten all of that.
and pls let keep encouraging ourselves. All the best to Y'all.
