If your car is equipped with VVT (variable Valve timing ) VVT function ,you stand at high risk of quick engine malfunction if you are using 20w50 or low quality engine oil becos VVT function rely majorly on good quality and clean oil to perform it function effectively .

Your engine will automatically gather sludge if you
1. Use non recommend or low quality engine oil eg using 20w50 if 5w30 is recommended or using low quality synthetic oil
2.Overcooling your engine temperature: Running your radiator fan direct and removing thermostat
3.Late engine oil change maintaince schedule

How is sludge formed ?
As engine oil lubricates the engine ,it naturally accumulates contaminants like moisture ,carbons,fuel and other waste from engine and at high temperatures ,the engine oil will oxides and react with all these contaminants to form these gel like chemical call SLUDGES.
Hence ,this where the action of a good synthetic oil now come into play .

And in any metallic moving parts ,on a molecular level , lubrication primarily acts as cushion between two or more moving parts to prevent direct contact btw the moving parts and to remove the heat that is being generated as result of the movement btw the parts .
Imagine a scenerio in which you are rubbing the palms of your hands together ,you will clearly see that heat is being generated which is clearly relate to heat that will be generated as engine parts are rubbing against one another. Now runs some grease on your palm of your hands and perform the same function ,you will observe that the heat generated this time has been eliminated and also the rubbing is now easier than before .
From that little experiment ,the basic functions of oil can be summarised as below
1. Remove heat that is being generated btw two moving parts
2.Reduce friction btw moving parts
3.Reduce wear and tears that can result due to friction
4.Improve the moving speed of moving parts as friction has been reduced .
5.Finally , Engine oil has a cool effect on the engine .

What can be done to block a leakage in the AC unit. Was told there is a leakage blocking material that can b used to stop the ;leakage.

Cooling system refer to in this thread is not your AC system but the system that ensure maintain and removal of excess heat from your engine and transmission.
Referring to your question on HVAC .
Your need to go for troubleshooting of the AC leak before you can talk about fixing .
Some methods for troubleshooting leaks include
1. Soap and water
2. Dye
3.electronic sniffer
4.vacumming .

Yes the gear was shifting normally, befor the change, or could it be the TPS? Or does the TPS needs calibration?

Change to your old TPS and if the gear shift properly then you bought a bad TPS.

Toyota Camry 2000 cooling system fan is such designed to be a 2 speed system :Low and high speed.
And there a certain conditions that must be fulfilled to achieve any of these speed .
1.Low speed : To achieve low speed ,what it takes is for the AC to be on and the AC refrigerant pressure below 188 psi .
2.High speed : Engine coolant temperature of above 95 centigrade and the fan speed will go to the maximum full speed and also the second condition to achieve maximum speed is for the AC pressure to go above 220 psi .
Therefore the fan will automatical achieve the highest fan speed @ ac on when the refrigerant pressure increase and the condition that increases pressure are : increase in ambient temperature , increase in engine temperature and there is already a sensor that tell the ECU when the pressure increases ,so I will advice you leave your fan alone at it's default condition,you don't need to tamper with anything ,
it is self regulating and self monitoring .

I appreciate eagle eye car owners ,your observation is right for the fan speed for both condition of ac and maximum engine temperature threshold.
The fan speed is at low speed when the AC is on and fan speed is at highest speed when the engine temperature reaches the maximum temperature ,that is actually how the the car is designed to work nothing is wrong with the system ,however let me take your time to elaborate more on the working design of the fan according to the manufacturer specification.

They will diagnose / scan ur vehicle first for free and tell u what and what is needed to be done ... I promise u , u will never complain of this and certainly thank me later... I have a Mazda tribute 2001 v6 SUV. My problems basically are:
1. When I start my car in the morning, it starts out fine- reading 14.3v but gradually drops to 13.5 without load(Ac, headlights, radio, inner lights). Sometimes, when the electric fan kicks in full, the voltage drops further down to 12.9v and later goes up to 13.5v again.

Question: WHAT COULD BE WRONG HERE?

2. Battery drains over night. For this reason, I disconnected the battery every time not in use.

Note: Aside this, there is no issue with the car. It runs well, and starts so well all the time.

Generator( alternator ) output is never constant it value depend largely on prevailing conditions ( battery charge level , temperature,) reasons ?to save energy , to cut off unnecessary loading alternator when not necessary and also to prevent overcharging of battery .It is normal for any generator output to drop with increasing load but it will instantaneously rise up correspondingly cos there is a regulating circuit monitoring the load . What matter is that the alternator should not fall up to or below the value of charged battery (12.6v) .
For the battery drain ,that is what is technically referred to as parasitic drain which means a device is permanent on even when the car is turn off .You need a good technicians troubleshoot that one for you .

Car was taken for around 10km drive at high speed, more codes came out. Running lean and multiple misfire plus C1202,. Plugs changed misfire disappeared but can was still not moving quick and still had C1202, then changed the fuel pump after that only check was blinking and VSC steady, code cleared and the car is now accelerating well. Almost drove me nuts. Thanks to all that gave me sugessions

I thought u said no misfire before .

I have a Mercedes c230.. my ac has been messing up. I have changed the compressor 3 times! I bought a new condenser with dryer and it's still not working. I was advised to change the follow come compressor to that of ML.. still no show. Please I need help cos I have spent close to 100k already�.

Change your mechanic
Much attention should be focussed on the diagnosis aspect of any repair before even pin should be removed and changed so to avoid repeated failure in repair but most mechanic hands are faster than their brain ,don't take time to set time to plan before implementation and even customers too don't even are such in a hurry to get solution .
HVAC system regardless of brand has it own special diagnosis procedure cos it is a system .
