NanaF: I have always complained and to be fair to him, he has always said bring the car back.
I just don’t have confidence in him because an oxygen sensor issue is something that should be minor and if he couldn’t do that.....then the suggestion he also made about the revving sound being caused by a leak in the hose was also very surprising.
What if it is even the oxygen sensor causing the performance issue because the code is still there?
That was my personal experience with him and I rest my case. Soory I have reversed my decision,I am nt taking your car again .this issue has been stretched too far to be taken lightly . |

NanaF: Autologic you kept disturbing me and asking me and I told you I thought it was better but I am not the one driving the car.
We changed fuel pump based on your advice and the oxygen sensor code remained and you were still clueless on what to do. Now the said fuel pump failed has failed. Even after you changed it, we noticed the car wouldn’t always start on first try. A problem we never had with the old fuel pump o. I think this is what even angered me and triggered my first complaint on this thread.
The light reviving sound when accelerating you said it was radiator hose, it was at this point I knew that anybody can form professional in this digital age.
This is a review not for you but for any potential customer to see. Help me say hello to your dear mum wishing u a wonderful new year in advance |

NanaF: Lol. The car was moving well beyond 60km/hr. You must think this a joke. Are you kidding? This is a no.1 sign that you are a liar, you don’t know your work and you lack integrity.
I’m sure you know we spent more than the diagnostic fee based on your quack advice.
Like I said, this is just a warning to anyone who would want to use you. Refunding the diagnostic fee would do nothing for me.
You changed a perfectly good fuel pump that didn’t solve the problem like you claimed and months after it has failed. You should cover your face in shame and not come here to be typing all these. Why talking from both side of your mouth ,after we fixed the fuel pump ,it inside your WhatsApp message record there in which you admitted the car has improved except occasionally pulling to side and you promise to bring it back for further check and which you didn't show up has promised .who I still take responsibility for anything that happen afterward ? You claim the car was moving well ,we drove test it in presence of your mum and with her issue of trusting nobody with her car she couldn't even take the car back as she wanted to cos the performance was too poor . imagine the mother even have to snap the fuel level ,the car interior etc before she can agree to leave the car (me self I dey boil inside with all these attitude but still I still need to maintain my cool cos customer is king ) I don't have anything to say about your issue cos your claim lack substance . You have insulted my personality' but I am too mature to call u names cos I have manage worst . |

Part of her accusations :
"We filled the tank this past weekend and fuel started overflowing from under the tank. Apparently, the fuel pump that was fixed by ‘his’ mechanics failed and now the car is parked down. Meaning nothing was wrong with the old fuel pump that was taken out."
This doesn't make sense to me at all ,we changed fuel pump 7 months ago and fuel was leaking last week .So that means the car tank has been without fuel for 7 months untill week . |

From our finding ,we concluded to change the fuel pump and also part of our work culture of quality assurance is to monitor and crosscheck the car for further issue after repair for some periods depending on what we are dealing with . However ,after the fuel pump has been changed, the customer was eager to take the car and insisted to take the car and monitor the car herself and feedback if there is further issue . Her feedback after she has taken and driven the car is depicted below ! She admitted herself that the car performance is now better than before except occasional pulling to side which I even apologize and told her to bring the car for further check . I have yet to hear anything about the car since then except this escalation I am getting on naira land now .

All these procedure was done and shown to the customer mother(cos it was the mother that actually brought the car ) as she always insisting on seeing everything that was going on .(apart from the car issue we actually have to manage the mother overbearing bossy attitude ) She was making the work very difficult( Even the odd exhaust noise that she complain about ,her mother didn't allow the panel to check the exhaust) !as she always standing in the way and insisting that we show her everything we are doing as she claim that she doesn't trust anybody .it even got to a point that I have to pull a call to the customer (daughter ) and make complain about her mother attitude for her to curtail her excesses or else we will drop the job .I even need to tell her in the conversation below not come come with her again . Despite all these we were still able to manage her and go ahead with the one she allow us to touch All these slow down the pace of the job . Imagine the funny part of this episode ,when the mother initially brought the car and we ask her to state the issue with the car ,she refuse saying that our diagnoses should be able to tell us everything without her telling us (for her mind we are car soothsayer )

NanaF: I took my mums car to him months ago. The check engine light was on for oxygen sensor and we felt the car was not responding well when accelerating and making a light revving sound while driving. He charged us for diagnosis, 10k I think. More like charged us for trial and error.
At first he said the catalyst needed to be removed and that there was a problem with the exhaust system. Later he said the exhaust was ok. For the light revving sound he said he thinks it’s a hole in rubber hose close to the radiator, even I am not a mechanic and I know that sounds impossible.
He said there was nothing wrong with the oxygen sensor. That he had done tests and the fuel pump needed replacement. He said it was the fuel pump that was causing the oxygen sensor code.
Later I realized his work ended at giving ‘diagnosis’, other people would later do the work in his absence.
The fuel pump was changed in my presence and he was not there to do this so called test to see if this new fuel pump was ok.
According to him, we are to leave the car for days after work has been done for proper follow up checks. We brought a car to you not a sick patient please.
After the fuel pump was changed, the oxygen sensor code remained contrary to his diagnosis. The car performance issue didn’t change really. So we basically wasted money and time and nothing changed.
We filled the tank this past weekend and fuel started overflowing from under the tank. Apparently, the fuel pump that was fixed by ‘his’ mechanics failed and now the car is parked down. Meaning nothing was wrong with the old fuel pump that was taken out.
I don’t expect anything from you Autologic but I hope anyone who searches your name will see this review and stay far far away from you. Another case study ! Let me address this and set the record straight The car is Nissan quest 2008 and the complaint was bad performance issue and odd exhaust noise . Car has been taking to other mechanics before for fix to no avail ! Scan result reveal O2 sensor issue ,system running lean ! We first did a drive test and we found out that car cannot barely move beyond 60km/hr and based on data before us ,our initially primary diagnosis test is to check for exhaust restrictions ,fuel pressure and intake and exhaust leak with diagnostics tool dedicated for such test . Test reveal that the fuel pressure is very low below spec as depicted in the message below . The manufacturer spec should be 50psi but the result indicates 40psi !Bad fuel pump . To confirm further that it is truly due to faulty pump and we further check for further voltage drop that might arise due to resistance issue at the fuel pump terminal and also check for fuel line restrictions. All these test prove OK which indicate low fuel pressure is due to bad fuel pump . Test for exhaust restriction and intake and exhaust leak prove ok

Car Talk › Re: Catalyst Converter : Auto Experts Please Explain by autologic: 4:50am On Nov 18, 2017 |
The primary function of a cat is to remove these 3 toxic chemical substance (NO2,CO,Oxides of hydrocarbon) from the exhaust stream and rendered them harmless to more environmental friendly gases (Co2,H2O,O2). The effect that absence of cat can cause to your car is more better performance becos cat introduce a little bit of exhaust restriction to your exhaust flow and if it absent you have a better free flow but at expense of little bit of increased fuel consumption (not too significant as widely exaggerated by kazeems and co). Note that it is a not the absence of cat that cause significant bad fuel mileage but presence of faulty cat . The best method for testing for a working cat is using the principle of temperature testing cos a working cat temperature can be up to 600-800 Celsius . So if your cat has been removed and your budget cannot afford the real original one ,don't let your kazeems talked you into introducing foreign material or " ladipo worked catalyst " to avoid creating issues for your car. |
Car Talk › Re: Ask Kingreign by autologic: 11:24pm On Nov 16, 2017 |
3kay945: Thanks Boss, but how am I sure the cat has not been replaced with such a thing he planned to use by former kazeem? Cos I don't think the vehicle consume fuel. Besides, what is the likely consequences if he use the 'door net' in the exhaust? Thanks once again, am learning fast! Door net will gather the carbon from the exhaust and in no distance time the carbon will accumulate on the net and form a thick substance that will cause restriction on your exhaust .Restricted exhaust can knock your engine in extreme cases. Advice : 1.Leave your exhaust as it is if you don't have money yet to buy the real catalyst 2.Don't patronise " ladipo made catalyst" 3.Flee from that kazeem that want to destroy your engine ! |

drkay: been hearing a knocking sound lately, especially when ascending a sloppy terrain or flyover at low speed. otherwise, the car is on top of its game. my 'kazeem' said its probably because engine capacity is getting weaker for d ac. That knocking sound is technically referred to as pinging. Pinging is as result of incomplete/uneven combustion of air and fuel resulting to spontaneous explosion in the combustion chamber. Get a recommended techie to check for where the issue is coming from:air ,fuel, spark |

Oksman: Your gear oil pump is blocked (it is located inside the gear system) hence can't tranmit the pressure required to drive the shaft. Change it and you are good to go. Talking from experience. Wish you the best. That you might have experienced similar issue in which the culprit is bad pump might not be the same fix for every gear issue Also no diagnostics test from the op to prove that the pump is blocked . So your claim is a fallacy |
