The techniques involved in getting to the top of google search results is by having referenced on many websites etc, I'm sure, if you might search the keywords Hausa Yoruba Igbo, at the same time, you will get more resources on Hausa, followed by Yoruba then Igbo.

Some sectors are growing, while some are collapsing.
e.g. Power, Education, Health, Security, Transport, Infrastructures are collapsing.
e.g. Banking, Communication, Politics are growing.

Generally, the country is growing very very very slowly, maybe in the next 100 years we can catch-up with South Africa, 200 for UAE, 400 for UK, 500 for USA.  

NB: One funny thing is the keyword "Yoruba" returns 7.9 Million results, while the keyword "Hausa" returns 6.2 Million results, and the keyword "Igbo" returns only 1.8 Million results. These results shows that Yoruba people are using the Internet or at least referenced much more than Hausa and Igbo.

A google search result for Hausa Language, Igbo Language, and Yoruba Language, shows that Hausa Language is more popular online with about 737,000 results, followed by Yoruba with 700,000 results, Igbo lagged behind with only 269,000 results.

Maybe this is as a result of Hausa Language being taught at many American and European universities, etc.

They are too much in Kano (about 2 million), and they violate all traffic rules, they should be "controlled" at least.
