Presently I'm very mad at him because he never cared about me or my mum, all he does with his money is to give it to his concubines. It really painful that I had to work for 7-9hours everyday while standing for 1k per day and my dad is out there spending his money for one LovePeddler.

Anyway, @Enacto. Follow the advices you've been given on the thread. Try and make peace with your Dad, even if your Mum had to plead with him on your behalf. Do this because of your piece of mind and not really his.

Moreover, pray for God's help and hustle. My parents abandoned me to fend for myself at 11. I trained myself up to where I am now (Not easy at all). But I'm contributing over 60% to their upkeep now.

For your dad to be fighting dirty with your mom in that manner, promising to kill you the kids and destroying properties, Hmmm! something is terribly wrong. And I suspect cheating or maybe he found out he is not your biological father. Look into that first.

I do not support any father no being a good father but you'll realize more when you are old enough, you'll understand the reason why he is like this.... My dad once said to me and I quote him 'my father didnt do it for me, so why should I do it for you?' .... I became independent from my early teens, working and hustling, my mom tried her best and supported me with prayers.... But one thing I did was take care of them both.... You are very correct. I used to hate my parents not even my dad alone, because they abandoned me at the age of 11years to devote their lives to church ministry not even caring if I survive or not.

I struggled and suffered. I couldn't pay school fees and had to over-study to get scholarship as best academic student twice to pay for my secondary schooling. It took me jumping from jobs to jobs and like 8 years plus to get through Polytechnic on part-time . And by then, age was no more on my side to use the certificate to get entry level work even in the bank where I worked as a casual staff.

I was as angry with my parents as the poster is
doing now.

In a nut shell, all my anger towards them has dissipated over time when I realised how difficult it is to raise kids in this country. I have 3 kids in school now and I'm overworking my self to cater for them even at the risk to my health.

My parents are now retired and old. And though I'm not rich, yet I contribute over 60% to their upkeep every month.

So poster should just change his mindset and stop feeling sad about today because if he hustle and God answers his prayer, he will be grateful eventually.
