barrysome001:Oh, you are right. I just hope it is implemented that same way. Because I would love competition in the power sector same as was done in the telecoms sector then. Sorry, I watched the discussion on the bill in National Assembly during the presentation before and this issues if how to transmit and distribute came up. I didn't know it has been resolved. Good one. Thanks bro. |
tete7000:Broda, I'm not in support of any of the parties o, they are all congregations of wicked leaders and lairs. That being said. I quoted you based on the National conference thingy which I believe Jonathan should have implemented before leaving. If he had done that , a lot of the problems facing this country today would have been solved at least 60-70%. Because the conference covered every aspect of our life as a citizen. But No ooo He wanted to wait another term to do that forgetting that at that time; Nigerians were already fed up of PDP. That's my point. |
tete7000:Stop blaming APC for not implementing the conference. Jonathan inaugurated the referendum in March 2014 and final report on the conference was submitted in October 2014. So why didn't he implement it before May 2015?. |
barrysome001:Yes good bill indeed. However it would have been sweeter if its done independently. I mean if state government generate, transmit and distribute their own power will bring in competition with discos, which give people choice, promote steady supply and consequently reduce tarrif. But in this one, states are allowed to generate but must add their power to the national grid for transmission to same discos, who are mostly after money. |
BlaqFaze:Because Atsenal is out. ![]() |
Fati should go out on loan to rediscover himself. Sell Alba, Busquets, Roberto and Garcia. Some highly paid players should reduce their salaries to help the club. |
Debroslink:Debroslink. This your point dey somehow. Who are those average midfielders that surround FDJ? |
jpmoriarti:@JP, why are you encouraging these trouble makers to continue disturbing this our thread. We were imploring them to stop and hoping they get tired of their insults and move it out of here, but you are putting more petrol in their fire. |
Ancelloti said Barcelona played "strange" football yesterday. The Athleticoed style we adopted yesterday was surprising to most people, RM was expecting us to play attacking football as we usually do, leaving the defenders at the mercy of their fast counters. So he was baffled and confused. Thank God it worked. |
Na wa o. I hope you guys know that this what they call " In-fighting " sha? Make una do am sofri-sofri o. Gudnite. |
Xavi thank you o. Game that most of us think say na loss e go be. The way football can change one's predictions sometimes dey funny walahi. |
This one ba crocodile tears my brother Obi. You've been in Nigeria for so many years but it's now you see a girl suffering. When you were governor for 8 years in Anambra, nobody was suffering abi? You politicians are the same. There are many philanthropists in Nigeria. So must you become President to help people in need? No politicians should be trusted, same goes for the new President-elect, they are all tyrants deceiving us. |
netmillionaires:No mind dem jare. |
Why you sef no mind your business. Wetin consign you if some celebrities collect money to support any candidate. You have your choice, they have theirs. |
Goodconcept78:Thank you o. Election is a personal thing. If you like support this, if you don't like this then support that. But people will point hands at other people who don't support their own, and when others point at them they start shouting foul. He who wants to swim with the sharks must be wary of shark bites. |
Life is very interesting!. I wonder how that porn lover - Senator Abbo that disrespected her in the senate committee will feel when they meet after the swearing in. Will he bow to the First Lady or not.? Be careful in life. Your classmate today may become your Oga tomorrow o.

Wow ! What a day of Victories.. The Jagaban of politics won and the Jagaban of football also won. |
2paid2Bmad:Guy, if you still remember how they where all taunting him before the world cup, delaying his GOATSHIP status and hiding behind his inability to get it. They ridiculed him by shifting the goal post everytime. You will agree that he needs to troll them pepper them. " Well, He is good but he doesn't have a world cup Yes he is good but cannot be called the GOAT until he wins the World cup" . Now he has won it, he must rub it on their faces. Me likey.
|
Debroslink:Two goals? Unless he dies suddenly, that record is more or less his. Who was the player with that record before sef? Was it not em, em ?. I have forgotten his name... ![]() |
I learnt to be focused on my goals and objectives, even when everything seems against me. I learnt this from Tinubu and Obi. Tinubu was abused as Oju yobo, he was degraded as someone without education, ridiculed as an old unhealthy fool, he was cursed as a drug baron, was slammed as a bastard, was compared to the devil, yet he remained focus that he wants to be President. Peter Obi was also rubbished as a betrayer, ridiculed as a failure, called Clueless, yet he stayed focus to his goals and aspiration, though he didn't win but gave a good account of himself. This gave me inspiration and encouragement, that if I am positive minded and focused, not minding distractions. I can do anything I put my mind on to do. |
Why won't we respect our own laws. All your party agents at each levels from polling unit - Ward - LGA - State signed that the results were accurate but you want to debate the figures at the National level. That's wrong na. Our constitution says that if you are not satisfied with the results, go to tribunal. This same Dino was among the law makers o. |
BlaqFaze:Bros Abeg no compare us with una o. We only lost in 2 games, but Chelsea has become punching bag to most of the EPL teams, that's no. 1 2. Even with our loss to Almeria, we are still leading by 7 points. What position is your team on the table exactly? |
Ballzproblem2:No wonder! I've been asking myself why is dis guy who is not a Barca fan so passionate about happenings in Barca. Now I know. Kudos man. |
andrewbaba44: Debroslink:Hey Guys ! Stop, all this abeg. We nor dey fight here na. Let this issue rest. |
jpmoriarti:Pedri's absence is not even the issue to me. How can Barcelona loose to Almeria of all teams. If we loose to small teams like this, then our loss to Man. United should be celebrated. Our reserve team should loose to Almeria, not our first team. Chai. |
And how will you be able to prove the rigging o. Or just because your candidate didn't win. It becomes rigging abi . You are not the only Nigerian who voted and every body has his own choice. So if my candidate didn't win I should say the election is rigged abi? Foolish mentality. Anarchy supporters. |
As we all know that tomorrow 25th February 2023 is another opportunity to choose the next President to lead us for the next four years. We should know that all the past leaders wether good or bad, have been ruling rightly or wrongly. And they using everyone's time on this earth to do and undo. Forget about Party, forget about Candidates, forget about Religion and forget about Tribe. Whoever wins among the candidates, be it Obi, Atiku,Tinubu, Kwankwaso, Sowore or whoever. YOU personally as a citizen who has enjoyed or suffered the past, living the present and going to the future, which starts tomorrow. Mention just one or two things, you would want the incoming President to do, and explain how it should be done. For me, I will want whoever become the President move the bill for a change or amendment of the constitution. By revisiting the Referrendum done by Jonathan with the objective of applying different views of non-politicians in the amendment or total change. More to come. What's yours? |
Isn't it time yet for Xavi to substitute another attacker in? It's almost 70mins na. |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:Strongest eleven for where? Abi Available eleven, you mean to say? Pedri, Gavi , and Dembele are part.of his strongest eleven o and they are not playing. |
Are they all from hausa land? Cos all I hear is "guruma". This parade is just for show jare. |
Nigerians sha? Nobody even said anything about the ministerial portal the thread was opened on. Or maybe we do not even understand or care about what it's uses and benefits are for. Every one is just talking about Obi, Tinubu and Atiku. Just cursing and abusing one another, "Urchins, Obiidiots, Athiefkus etc. Even at our level as ordinary citizens we tend to be confused, why won't the leaders also act in confusion. May God help this country. |
