MURIC can still remember what happened to Oba of Lagos Tupac Akiolu when the idiot(Akiolu) tried to to embarrass the Ooni, igbakeji Orisa. That day, Ooni just smiled and moved on. In less that three weeks, Thunder struck in Oba of Lagos yahoo palace at midnight. The Oba of Lagos was seen running helter skelter in dirty smelling boxers, it was Igbo boys that the Oba of Lagos once threatened to throw into Lagos Lagoon that now helped the yahoo king.
3 weeks ke? It was within a week

Anyone motivated to use the TEF Canada exam as a means to boost your points, please follow the following 3 resources and you should hopefully get a minimum of B2 in both Reading and Listening.

1. Join the Whatsapp Chat:
https:///invite/GCqXOD8MOmIDHb3IGSbdBT

2. Download the necessary resources:
https://teftextelongs.home.blog/?fbclid=IwAR2q2kmpxmxJ85LIIywC3Dmw15BiZ0QtcImpusZw90a4hVFBOvApnRHpzK8

3. Join the Facebook page:
Comment se préparer au TEF Canada

The Comprehension Ecrite questions are weighted differently. In order to stand a good chance of getting at least more than 216 over 300 you need to smash the long text questions (they weigh the most).

All the best.

There are 85 long text questions and answers in the link 2. above. Some of the questions do get repeated and so if you master the 85, you stand a great chance (plus you improve your vocabs and you learn French in the process).

thanks for the tips and the lines you provided.

i quite agree. If Nigeria Police wants to work, provided there's no political interference, they would fish out whosoever is behind a crime.

Question on wes évaluation. When applying to Wes, hubby imputed his Bsc and Hnd. His HND transcript and waec have been received by wes together with photocopies of BSc and Hnd certificates.

However, we are having issues getting his Bsc transcript. Thé person who wanted to help process it practically "ate" the money (N66k). That's another long story.

Now we want to move on but we just discovered on wes website that if evaluating Hnd, one must include ND. So can we just modify our wes order by including the ND but removing the Bsc? Then get the ND transcript sent to wes as Well as the ND certificate copy in order To claim 2 certificates.

Pls your response would be appreciated

Read that story too, the sad part is that almost everybody in Nigeria including myself is selling something if not full time, part time.
I complètely agree with you. Almost everyone is into e-commerce of some sort. I could remember I did my deliveries myself at the beginning of my business till i could get a logistic company to deliver them for me. This issue is a very worrisome one and should not be swept under the carpet.

autotrader014:
This is really unfortunate. I have said it before and will say it again. Suicide will multiply in Nigeria. Not because times are hard. Times were HARD way back before now. The problem now is that adults are increasingly immature and the society is increasingly frivolous.

People have no true friends, because friends now see themselves as rivals, back stabbers/biters now masquerade as friends. Problem shared now becomes public information.

There's a rat race going on and it's measured by fleeting wealth and nothing else true and lasting. Setbacks are mourned as a wasted life by those who should give love and genuine support. Men who rose through their friend’s magnanimity are now digging graves for such friends. So troubled man becomes a butt of jokes by those in whom he reposited his trust.

Calamities befall men and their friends shed tears in the morning and run them down at night. Adults now behave like children.
The man can’t even tell his wife because he is sure she won’t understand. He has seen her divulge little details to her family. He has heard her eulogize wealth and curse set backs as abomination. She has a little merry heart. Men now gossip like women.

The cleric can’t be trusted because he is given to flamboyant cars and lots of worldly ambition. He rates men by their earthly successes and wealth. He can’t be trusted because wealth he says, is the ultimate blessing from God. Everyday he celebrates only the rich.

So the troubled man walks around with his troubles in his heart, smiles at all the children masquerading as adults around him. One day, he would weigh it all over again and say no, it’s enough.
True and matured friends are now very scarce! No true ears to talk to in times of trouble, no honest shoulder to lay on in times of weakness.
And a culmination of all these is why depression-induced suicide is on a sad rise.

Can we all rise and fight this menace called depression in truth?
Can you work and encourage others to assume the role(s) of true friend(s)?
Can we jointly reinstate the intergrity of the quote “Problem shared is half solved”?
Be your brothers keeper
thanks for this post. It's profound.

Hello all. Silent reader here. Please which is the fastest credential evaluation body? WES, IQAS, ICAS? I am a lawyer with a Master's in Law from a Dutch university and I will be submitting only the Master's for evaluation (I don't have the stamina for Naija institutions).

Also, does anybody have good experience (read: good grades) writing the IELTS General in Germany? I wrote the Academic in 2015 in Dortmund and my scores weren't great (L - 7.5, W - 6.5, R - 7, S - 7). To be fair though, I didn't prepare/study for that test AT ALL. I just went in with the mentality that I am a native speaker and was thoroughly humbled by the test. Should I wait and write IELTS when I'm in Nigeria in a couple of months, or brave Europeans and their misunderstanding of African accents and write the test in Germany/Netherlands/Belgium? I'm in my 30's so I need to max the scores. Thanks
for your credentials évaluation, use WES. That was what i did. I evaluated only my foreign LLM. Save yourself all the long stories with naija school

For the ielts, i really dont know. But since you had 7 in speaking in 2015, I think you can as well take the exams there

Good evening house. I don’t understand French at all and want to embark on this journey (studying French). Please I need a good French school. I live around Maryland. And is 8 months ok for me to study and understand French?. Any information please will be appreciated.

Thanks
I think It's achievable in eight months if you attend classes daily and do a lot of studying, listening and speaking on your own too. You have to immerse yourself in the language within the périod.

I started in April. It's quite challenging but rewarding. I attend classes daily. Since you live in maryland, you can first check out Alliance français Ikeja branch (that's the closest to you). Alternatively, you can check IEF Yaba

Hello guys, I would be started classes on Monday at AF. I'm so scared and hope this would favour me. I'm dedicating 8 months to a year to learning French and hopefully get through, I have absolutely no idea. I was going to prepare for TEF but from what I just read I would focus on TCF. Please I'm open to advise. Please forgive me because I seem to be everywhere. I'm just anxious and looking for reassurance.
I took the same décision in April. It's my 6th month now. It's a very challenging endeavour but quite rewarding. Called Af Ibadan yesterday to make enquiries about Tef registration in October. I spoke french from thé beginning to the end, I'd never felt so good.

It requires a great deal of time and dedication. Keep at it and in no time, you would be glad you did.

On what exams to register for, dont bother yourself yet. Enjoy learning the language. In my opinion, if you've developed the nécessary compétence, you can write any exam

3months is impossible no matter how intensive the classes may be. You need at least 8months to 1year.

But learning from scratch for 3months, je dirai non. For these exams, you must know French.

If you go to France and live with a french family, may be.

Sorry to bother you again. Hope I will not be asked to prove the Nigerian one again? So for instance nigerian B Eng degree in Electrical and Scottish masters in Control Engineering? For instance when applying for jobs, will recruiters ask for proof/equivalence from Nigeria for the Nigerian Degree?

Or as you have explained, verify the masters and I am sorted.

Thanks.
I dont know about jobs. But if it is about the express entry, just evaluate your masters

Hello All,

Sorry to bother you guys with this question.

I have a masters degree as my highest qualification.

Masters - Glasgow
Bachelors - Nigeria

In order to have my credentials verified by WES, do I need to contact both Nigerian and Scottish schools to send both to WES or do I verify just the masters degree from Glasgow?

I have read about many issues with WAEC results, Nigerian Uni asking people to pay money etc. Is the process complicated?

Please help with what I need to do.

thanks.
evaluate only your UK master which is your highest qualification. Dont bother with the Nigerian degree.

Nice info on TCF

I have a few questions on both please for the purpose of self evaluation.

1) Does anyone have an idea of how TEF scores are calculated to get this Reading - 300 total and Listening - 360 total?

considering that in the manual ir says there are Listening - 60 questions, 1 point for each correct answer. Can one just multiply by 6?? so if I get all 60 questions right that is 360 points?

Reading - 50 questions, 1 point for each correct answer. Can I just multiply by 6?

On TCF

As it is computer based. Is the scoring automated for all section including the speaking and writing? Or just like TOEFL where the speaking is recorded and writing typed on a computer but is scored by human rater?

If scored by Human rater, how does one compete favorably in a french speaking country.

You know there is an aspect of subjectivity to speaking and writing. Like in lome or cotonou for example, others are speaking fluently and then when it is a Nigerian turn person start to dey speak with English accent. will it not be advisable to do it in Lagos where the examiner will be hearing similar accent and even appreciate say we try small.

Please comments would be appreciated. Thanks
you just penned down my thoughts. Kudos
