Location is not even Ajao estate, but Igando.

Went to Ibadan not even abroad, Ijave learned a new thing today, before leasing any property, triple check.

People don’t have conscience, how will he pay the gbese?
if one is leasing a property for as much as N30million, a search at the lands registry is important. Conducting a search with less than 20k would have saved him from the loss of N30m. He would have been aware of the mortgage from registry's records

I hate it when parents send their kids to live with relatives. If you are dead its understandable not when you are alive you push your parental responsibility to another. Like he said,no matter how well you are treated you never feel you belong living with a relative .

I cant even raise a relative's child cos they will never see it as anything, there is always this void you can't feel, punishment is misinterpreted as maltreatment you will hear something like "oh its because they are not my parents", no matter how hard you try to integrate them into your family ,they will never accord you that "parent" love.once their parent comes into the picture in their adult stage, everything you did for them will be erased
that's true and that's why every child should stay with their parents

Damn.. People are wicked. You cant trust anyone this days. You can never tell if that electrician and his friend who did this has done it to someone else before. It is a crazy world we live in sha.
I agree. It may not be their first time. All these facility management companies would charge high service fees from residents, yet they would find it difficult to employ the right set of people. No background checks on their workers, nothing. They hardly employ graduates and even when they do, they pay them like school cert holders. They keep bringing all sorts of miscreants into people's homes as artisans.

They just wasted that lady. Poor children. I cant imagine the pain they are going through now.

IELTS taken on Saturday.

Yep, it was not too bad. Completed the reading ahead of time and yep IELTS was easier than TEF, much to my pleasure. I was apprehensive.

Hope the results do not turn out too bad so I do not have to write again.

If I do not meet the scores, I will head for the provincial stuff.

All the best to those writing TEF.

Fingers crossed.

it will surely end in praise. All the best

Ywc! This is not required since POF is a gift. Quite a number of people have done this successfully.

Statements may help perhaps in work history to show salary deposits in addition/in place of pay stubs.
thanks.

Good morning people. Please is there anyone that has removed a credential such as BA degree from WES ongoing evaluation ? If yes, how long did it take for your status to get updated? I need to remove my BA degree as it's slowing my evaluation, but I want to be sure I won't regret it by waiting longer for update. Thanks in advance for your response.
my husband did. It took almost a month

Congrats to Mamaroon and Ayandee.
You don't know how you both have encouraged me to learn French to boost my scores.

I'd like to ask the house and I won't mind your contribution too between Alliance Francaise (the Ikoyi one to be specific) and IEF Yaba, which one would you recommend for someone who only understands a bit of French.

Thank you in anticipation
thanks for the mention. As regard your question, much would depend on your peculiar circumstances. If Alliance Francaise is close to your office or residence, it may be convenient for you to go to AF.

I studied at IEF and I must confess I got good value for money spent. The classes were intensive (everyday classes) and they were small (4 or 5 students) so participating in class discussions/work was unavoidable.

I observe that irrespective of the class, the curriculum is structured towards preparing students for TEF as almost everyone is there for the same purpose- learning french to pass TEF. I also observe that listening forms an essential part of the learning process.
Also, students are evaluated from time to time to monitor progress. Even before registering for TEF, you are assessed internally to ascertain your level of "preparedness".

However, I must warn that whether you go to AF or IEF, you would do much of the work yourself. While classes are important, learning French to pass TEF goes beyond the classroom. The activities you do outside of the classroom to improve yourself daily would determine how fast you would progress.

Bon courage!

Proof of fund question. Where land which is jointly owned by husband and wife is sold, can the funds be paid directly by buyer into wife's account being PA? Or deposited in husband's account who then transfers to the wife? Any form of documentation required between husband and wife?

To prove the source of funds, will deed of assignment executed in favour of the buyer be sufficient?

The remaining funds would come by gift from a close relative. Is a notarized deed of gift sufficient?

Properties / Half Plot Of Land At Wawa Before Arepo by ayandee: 11:03am On Nov 28, 2019
Half plot of land measuring 30 by 120 at Wawa just before Arepo. It's about 7 minutes drive from Berger bus stop in Lagos. It's behind the well-developed cityview estate.

My husband and I are the direct owners of this land. We planned to live there due to its proximity to the major road but our plans changed cos we are relocating.

Asking price: N4 million negotiable
