Really?

Most readers 'hailing' this man are hailing him for the wrong thing. They should be hailing his intellectual double face.

On one hand he claims the account is illegal and that he instituted a case against it (GEJ administration)

On the other, the National Assembly has no right to query (Buhari's administration)

What happened to National Assembly's role in financial oversight?

He has simply argued his way out of any commitment to preventing this brazen theft of National resources while supposedly looking good doing it.
Read the article again but this time, slowly.

OK Family! Good Morning from Naija. I have some concerns and I hope to get some answers here.

Been reading up on Air Maroc reviews and they are giving me some cold chills. Been asking myself who sent me? Never used them before. Used to flying Klm, Air France, Virgin Atlantic, Delta and Emirates. But when I look at the amount of money we would be saving , it makes so much sense. It can pay about 1 year house rent for us in Canada. Also, my POE is Montréal, my base.

Those who have used Air Maroc here, please I need your reviews. Na your own I go believe. Lol. How's their service, in flight entertainment, the Casablanca airport? Thanks as i await your responses.
I used Air Marroc and the flight was ok.. Long but ok.

From Lagos to Casablanca, there was no inflight entertainment but there flight is 4:30hrs.

I had a 7 hours lay over at Casablanca and we were taking to a lounge. The lounge is ok. There are beds, Couches and free WiFi ( sit at the dining area to get good WiFi service).
I was also served food at the lounge so hunger no kill me.

From Casablanca to Montreal you get inflight entertainment because it's a bigger plane.

You'd probably clear immigration at Montreal and if your final destination is Ottawa, I suggest you take the bus from the airport to Ottawa at 12 am rather than spend the night at the airport.

Overall my experience with Air Marroc was good and I have no problems flying them again.

I have landed already but you can still apply from Nigeria. If you have a place to stay when you land, use that as you address then get an app that can give you a Canadian number.

Melaye in his reaction through his special assistant on media, Gideon Ayodele, also said the governor ought to have resigned based on the verdict of INEC.

The senator said, “Were it to be a civilised society where leaders respect themselves and the people and where there is value, I think the best thing is for him to resign honourably but you know our society is such that they will always believe they can have their ways by maintaining the immunity believing that after the expiration of his tenure in office he will find a way of escaping the wrath of the law.

“Our leaders lack integrity.

Christianity Etc › Re: "I Have Never Earned Money From My Book Proceeds" - Bishop Oyedepo by AZeD1(m): 6:29pm On Dec 10, 2017
Statsocial:
Some might wonder why I post so much about pastors and the church. It is certainly not because I idolise any man whatsoever. Oyedepo, Adeboye and the rest are just Generals in God's Army so unbelievers persecuting them is not an issue.
However we are not oblivious of the strategy of the kingdom of Hell which is to Take aim at the Set men and scuttle the congregation, with congregations scuttled many would relegate out of faith. This is particularly the reason why I no longer get involved in the Tithing debate. The majority of those who are Anti Tithing are not lovers of the Church. You would usually see them say things like "Churches are too much, we need Industries" but a True lover of the Church must first see himself as a Christian and every other thing like Tribe and Nationality comes second hence my church validates your country and not the other way.

I'm using this medium to admonish True lovers of the Church not to fall for the same trap Eve fell for. Do not engage in a conversation where you are unaware of the underlying Motivations of the individual you are debating with. Eve argued with the Devil concerning the things of God. He(devil) was technically right by twisting a concept in his assertion and it led to the fall of man.

In the midst of any noise in the Church, Heaven or Hell must gain. Ask yourself who gains by these noise on Tithing. The Enemy would make you think it is Heaven that would gain just like the Serpent deceived Eve by telling her all she would gain by eating the fruit.

Secondly, know the priorities of Christ and ask yourself if Jesus would be igniting a debate about Tithing in a world where Christians are loosing Faith, Divorce in Church is high and there is Sexual Immorality pervading some Churches.

Lastly, study your Christian faith(or religion) and understand how changes occur in d church. How did we get to correct some doctrinal errors in the church. Did we have to pull Methodist down for Hagin to emerge, did we have to pull Anglican down for Oyedepo to emerge or did we have to pull Apostolic faith down for Kumuyi to emerge. These men came out of these ministries and tried to correct some things yet the ministries they emerged from are spared onslaught. As Christ said "any house standing against itself cannot stand". Hagin did not condemn Methodist for kicking him out when he got big because he knew only the Devil benefits.
Jesus gave two commandments, love God and love your neighbors. The bible also says how can you say you love God you have not seen when you can't love your neighbour.

With the amount of churches in Nigeria, can you say there's love in the Country?. The Church has failed and its because Pastors like so called Generals have taught their followers to chase money and prosperity by any other means.

The church is failing itself with the frauds called pastors.

There is a clear difference between Buhari and Atiku

While the former is an extremist and a dullard, the later is a detribalised, smart and intelligent man
You don't become an Army General by being dull.

Also you missed my point: FFK and a lot of people on this forum have said the North is the problem of this country but they are supporting a Northerner for President. That alone gives credence to APC supporters who say those criticizing Buhari are doing so because they are out of power.

If you've ever said anything about Northerners and born to rule mentality and you are supporting Atiku, then you are the biggest problem with Nigeria.
Politics › Nairalanders: Political Parties, Tribe And Bike Shedding. by AZeD1(op): 6:10am On Dec 10, 2017
I would like someone to please explain the obsession of Nairalanders and political parties (APC & PDP) / the tribes of the principal holders in each party. Apart from Tonye Barcanista who I know is active in party politics which means he has something to gain from his party winning.

As the rest of those (a large majority) in the politics section and Nigerians in general, I am struggling to understand your obsession with Political parties, what position a person from your tribe holds because the truth is no matter what party you support, and whatever position your tribesman holds, if you are not party of the "clique", you have lost.

APC won the 2015 presidential elections and the question I ask all APC supporters here is what have you gained from their Victory (bragging rights doesn't count)?

I am from Delta State, same Senatorial district as the Governor but what has having a Governor from Delta North done to the people from that region? Nothing. You could swap Okowa with Ejiro, Tamuno, Ade, Musa and nothing would change in the lives of the people in Delta North. Same things goes for Osibanjo and the people of Ogun State. How has his been VP helped them? How did GEJ being President help Bayelsa?

When are we going to realize there are only two parties that matter, the ruling class, and the rest of us and its in the interest of the ruling class to keep the rest of us divided. Go to Ikoyi club and you would see APC members and PDP members dinning and wining together, same thing in Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano and Enugu so why do we spend precious time fighting over irrelevant things?

It doesn't matter who wins in 2019, a lot of us lives would be affected the same way regardless of the party you support.

PS: I would like this to be an intellectual exercise, if you think your tribe is better than other tribes, then ask yourself why your villages doesn't have 24 hours power supply. Smart people find solutions to problems and If your tribe hasn't found a solution to its problem, then its not better than others.

I’m yet to understand the rationale behind this or what makes the cars liable to be seized. I hope they’re not just trampling on the work of honest hardworking people like in the days of OBJ just to announce a 1trn Naira revenue.

Unless these cars are stolen, anyone who imports these expensive vehicles clearly has enough funds to legally clear them.

Good day my people.

I am having a mixed feeling right now.

I landed on the 5th December in Canada. Glory be to God.

I am having a serious challenge. I am putting it here to get your advice and also so that others may learn.

During landing formalities at the Border Agency, I signed both copies of my COPR and the officer handed back to me my passport without giving back my copy of the COPR.

Now, I can't process my SIN because I need a copy of the COPR for it. I was told to go back to the airport when I got to Service Canada office to process the SIN. I went back to the airport and went to the CBSA office to lodge my complaint. I was told there is nothing they could do as the documents have been signed and it has been transferred to IRCC. I was then advise to file a Replacement of Document for my COPR at IRCC.
The greatest blow here is that the average waiting period for this application is 30 days.

The implications include inability to work and getting a phone.

I would appreciate your guidance.
Just apply for the replacement document, before you know it, the 30 days would have elapsed.

I landed in September at Montreal with my final destination as Ottawa but I was cleared at Montreal so instead of waiting 10 hrs for the flight to Ottawa, I decided to take bus which is two hours.
Unlike you, I had a copy of my COPR, but the immigration officer didn't check me into the system and I didn't know until I went to get my SIN, which meant my SIN had to be processed manually (6 weeks average time).
I had to call IRCC and I was told to wait for a week then call back back. After a week I called and they sent a message to the immigration officer at Montreal to check me into the system.

I know our cases are different but I want you to know some of us also faced some challenges and you will overcome this in no time.

Just use this waiting period to apply for jobs in your field. If you need to make money urgently, try Kijiji and Craigslist for jobs that pay in cash.

I don't know why you can't get a phone/Sim but you can try apps that give you Canadian numbers for now.

Selling weapons is different from supporting a war. Trust me the Russians are very wise of course they will make money from the conflict but whatever they sell to Hezbollah it won't match the fire power of the Israelis. You know the Turks don't really like Assad and they dont like Hezbollah for supporting Assad and they have beef with the Russians also. So you see the Israelis are safe foe now thanks to the disunity amongst the Arabs.
You grossly under estimate what Trump has done, He has given the Arab world a reason to unite. Check out the reaction of the Chinese and Russian governments.

Also Turkey is thinking of severing all ties with Israel.

Trump basically just help ISIS with its recruitment drive.

On a flip side, Trump is a republican and starting a conflict just to sell weapons is a big strategy of the republicans so may be knows what he is doing.

Well there will be uprisings and protest across the Muslim world and attacks in Jerusalem and the west bank itself but it will die down. The Israeli are prepared for the shock, the middle east is not strong enough for that. The government of Al Sisi of Egypt wont do anything because he is from the Military and his government depends on the massive military aid from the US government and she has a peace deal with Israel. The Young Crown Prince of Saudi won't really want an issue with the Israelis because he prefers to have them as allies than the Iranians. The Saudis really hate the Iranians trust me. Syria is in shambles, no hope..right now she is a puppet state for the Iranians. Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in the Gaza strip are the main threats. once they start shooting their rockets, the Israelis would go on a bombing spree and there will be civilian casualties. Iran would not want to get itself involve with the US in a war because trust me the Russians won't support them and the Saudis would gladly join in the attack. So we are only going to have nothing bigger than what we have had before and sorry to say most of the casualties would be civilians from both sides but majority would be the Arabs.......
Don't get it twisted the Russians will sell weapons to Hezbollah.
