They don't pay tithes, offerings or make donations to churches but are bitter when those who understand kingdom principles do, and these same set of humans desire to worship God in a serene environment they have no idea of how things were provided for. There are countless RCCG and other churches buildings that were paid for by Millionaires and Billionaires knowing full well that the churches collect tithes and offerings...these are men and women who understand what it means to encourage things that promotes God's kingdom. It's only a born fool that debates the things of God with kids.
You mean those politicians that steal and donate to church understand what God's kingdom is?

How come with so many churches, the corruption in Nigeria is not reducing?

There are seven gifts of the holy Spirit and wealth is not one so anyone who talks about "kingdom principles" as regards money is a scammer.

Are the people donating complaining? or did the G.O point a gun on anyone to donate by force? if you understand deep things you wont complain if am blessed today i will donate more than that to Gods work, How they spend it is none of my business, my donation is between i and God
Stop deceiving yourself. Jesus told the disciples how to giving and there was no were he mentioned the pastor.
Giving to a pastor and giving to God are two different things.

How long does it take to get the international driver's licence in Nigeria. I renewed my Nigerian driver's licence since June and up till now its not ready, so I'm thinking of getting the intl licence if it is processed faster.
Your license should be ready. I renewed in August and it's ready for collection.

It depends, families are different

I know people who wished their parents were divorced (meanwhile online Nairaland, the popular opinion is think of the kids before divorce)
I have a friend back in uni, he's goal was to make more money than his father because he hated his father and wished him dead.

Point is do not judge from the outside. It's easy to ask why someone is spending for the girlfriend and not the parents but have you asked who was more influential in the guy getting the more?

Fashola as minister. That's my reference. He has been an abysmal failure as minister. If Ambode is looking to supply Lagos with 24hr in 2018 (which is actually Fashola's job) and Fashola has actually reduced power supply in the country since he came in, then you know that's a testament to Fashola's inabilities.
I actually like Fashola as a person. Like him when he was governor. But it's apparent now that he is all mouth.
Not a single road commissioned since he became minister and yet he claims to have relieved the highest infrastructure budget allocations in Nigeria history. 2 years and I can't see anywhere where up to 100km of roads have been finished.
The Power minister is more of a figure head in Nigeria since generating and distribution have been sold to private companies, you can give directives as minister but the investors are concerned about their pockets so there's really little he can do to them. At least he can't fire anyone under performing CEO....

wow! would be glad if my own bag isn't opened.

I meant to say NOT over weight. The Nigerian airport was normal. Maroc lives by 6- 6:30 am so you'll have to be at the airport by 4am and the airport is not really busy at that time.

I don't think they still do manual checking at Nigerian airports again.

I have no idea about Fredericton.

Good day Friends

Pls I will be flying soon, I want to ask, for one using say Maroc/Egypt/Ethiopian Air how is luggage checking in process like in 9ja airport, what qty of garri & beans can I carry, after checking the luggages at the airport here in 9ja is there a place the will get to & transload, Or is it that same plane that conveys everything to Canada.. Pls any1 with luggage process info shud help explain to me. Thanks
For Maroc, you will get your load at Montreal and board another plane to your final destination. If Ottawa is your destination, i would suggest you book Maroc to Montreal and take a bus from the Airport to Ottawa. There's a bus from 00:20 to Ottawa and it cost about 32CAD.

As for the food stuff, you can pack as much as you want as long as your load is over weight. My bag wasn't opened at any point on my journey.

The issue is already settled in..

Malachi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me.
But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee?
In tithes and offerings.

10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse,
that there may be meat in mine house,
and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven,
and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Tithe and offering was mentioned here, and if you claim that tithe was for the Levites, what about offering?.
Madam please what does this part of the Bible mean?

22 Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year. 23 Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and olive oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name, so that you may learn to revere the Lord your God always. 24 But if that place is too distant and you have been blessed by the Lord your God and cannot carry your tithe (because the place where the Lord will choose to put his Name is so far away), 25 then exchange your tithe for silver, and take the silver with you and go to the place the Lord your God will choose. 26 Use the silver to buy whatever you like: cattle, sheep, wine or other fermented drink, or anything you wish. Then you and your household shall eat there in the presence of the Lord your God and rejoice. 27 And do not neglect the Levites living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own.

28 At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year’s produce and store it in your towns, 29 so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands
Please also see the part were you should sell your produce if the place is far and then use the money to buy stuff that you like.

Thanks for taking your time to explain.

Hi everyone!

Great thread, very informative. I have a few questions regarding proof of funds.

1. I know they sometimes ask for this at the port of entry, but do they actually check the amount, that it meets their minimum? For instance, I had to dip into my savings and it's now about 9,500 CAD, whereas the minimum amount for a single person is 12,300 CAD. Could this be a problem for me? I have heard that you can be denied entry right there due to proof of funds issues. Will they actually check if it's up to 12,300 CAD?
I don't think they expect anyone to have that much cash on hand. I was asked how much i had and i said what i put on my form. I wasn't asked for proof.

There's a difference between academic research and industrial research. Most times academic research leads to industrial research.
Now the academic researchers have done their part, it's up to you to see how that research can be used for something meaningful.
If you can't do that, then don't complain.

What is stopping you from turning the research into something tangible? At least someone has done the research, you do your own part instead on making noise up and down.

There's nothing like a "juicy" minister or appointment. The only people who see some ministries as juicy are people who have the mind of stealing and are vexed because appointing someone from a different tribe reduces their chance of eating their share from the National cake.

Like someone asked earlier, what has coming from a particular region have to do with performance?

Aren't we supposed to be worried more about what the person is doing in office?

If the OP is a supposed youth, then the future of this country is worse than bleak.

PS: There's no morality in law. The President is bounded by the constitution and not morality or whatever the OP calls it.
