its funny how you claimed to be educated more than others yet you don't know how tv right works.

Supersport(multi choice) having exclusive right to show epl barred tstv from showing epl, but that doesn't mean they can't cut a deal with other media houses that already have the right to broadcast epl. Unless there is some hidden rules that forbid such which I'm not aware of.

That's why the likes of ctl and trend can show epl without anyone disturbing them.

Lemme put it in simple term;

Let's say, NTA gets exclusive right after paying tonnes of money to broadcast buhari's media chat, or african cup of nation.

Channels tv cannot broadcast that programme directly from aso rock but they can cut a deal with nta to allow them show buhari's media chat.

Then you see channels tv linking up with nta for that particular program.

If tstv decides to create a channel like supersport to show epl directly without linking up with bein in sport, that would be completely illegal.
DStv owns the right to Nigeria.... Any deal has to be with DStv ....

You are obviously a mercenary paid to do the dirty bidding of a company that can't face competition.
But you are actually the shameless person for putting little pecuniary benefits of surviving today over the future of your self and generation.
Does supersport airing rights also cover streaming over the Internet?
Why not challenge the valid points raised by @brightnelly with superior argument rather than resorting to dishing out insults, an obvious proof of your low IQ.
There are no legal streams for the EPL except those owned by people who own the licenses.

No Supersport does not have such exclusive right.

Else CTL and other cable networks would have been deemed illegal.
They are illegal, there's a reason why CTL doesn't make noise and why they don't operate in Lagos.

Don't CTL and Metro air all sports channels here in Nigeria, even bein on their respective bouquet?

People that sell pirated CDs know it's illegal, but they still do it.
TV/Movies › Re: TSTV Responds To Bein Sports Removal From Their Satellite TV by AZeD1(m): 5:48pm On Nov 03, 2017
Lots of Nigerians went to school but they are not educated.
Supersports has the exclusive right to show the EPL in Nigeria, any deal with any other right holder is invalid in Nigeria.
TSTV knows this but they also know Nigerians will blame an invisible enemy for a mishap so"they are trying their luck".

Tell them Sir. And I am sure God sees a private jet as just another metal shaped differently. There is no difference between a Ship, Car or Private Jet-they are just mere modes of transport. Some people must think God is petty to deal with their tantrums and emotional sensationalism.
So why did Jesus tell that guy to sell all his property and give to the poor?

Remember the guy?

A Response to Freeze thread on private jets

I once saw Oyedepo at a 8:00 clock service in Landmark University in Omu Aran(via internet). So I thought did he leave Ota as early as 3AM or did he sleep over at Omu Aran? But I was told by an indigene of Omu aran that anytime there is an Helicopter hovering over town then they are sure Oyedepo is around(and he comes around Omu Aran often) so I knew he came with a Chopper that morning and left with a chopper that same morning. But imagine if he had to use a commercial airline for that. He would have to take a trip to Ikeja board an available flight to Ilorin(if they have an Airport) or Abuja and then begin a journey back to Omu Aran and hope there is an Available flight back Lagos. All that wahala for a 60 something year old man just because you want to preach in a 45 minutes service Kwara.

On a final note RCCG as a Church is bigger than some countries (membership vs citizens) e.g Lesotho, Licheistein yet can we say that the presidency of such Nations disparages their poor by using private planes for Official purposes? If we won't, then why do we insist on assassinating the Character of these Noble pastors who never respond to people castigating them?

Lalasticlala cool
I guess he parks the private jet in his house so as to avoid going to Ikeja when he wants to travel.

Why are you arguing over simple facts. Please go to the premier league website and see the list of authorized broadcasters. CTL is not a satellite station and is only transmitting in about 4 - 5 states. CTL launched a satellite TV called Trend Tv some years ago but could not broadcast the EPL via their satellite transmission. They ultimately discontinued the satellite option because no one was buying. Why do you think that happened?
Some peeps just like to argue blindly.

Find out who has EPL rights from the EPL site here https://www.premierleague.com/news/60907

The question you should be asking is why is CTL not in Lagos? The state with the largest population in Nigeria or are you saying the owners of CTL don't like money?

DStv knows about CTL but CTL minds their business and are not trying to go after DStv's subscribers.

Remember when Hitv went after viewing centers? DStv knows about viewing centers but they are not concerned because it's small fish.

There's a reason why CTL doesn't broadcast in Lagos or nationally.
They know it's illegal but TSTV is trying to go national with illegal content.

I'm saying rubbishhuh you gotta be kidding me. You even went as far as muddling facts from that gutter brain of yours. Let me correct your misconceptions about the Russian and Chinese ministers you cited as examples.

Firstly, the Russian energy minister is a graduate of Norisla industrial institute and is a specialist in economy and management in metallurgy (a branch of science which deals with production of metals). The man obviously has the qualifications to be minister of energy.

Secondly, the Chinese have no energy ministry but they have a ministry of urban and housing development, and the minister, Wang Menghui read Architecture at Tsinghua University. The amazing thing about both cases is they are both loyal politicians to their respective presidents but they are also technocrats with the required experience for their individual jobs.

But in Nigeria's case, we have a doctor as labour minister, that one is acceptable alright. But what of a minister of transport who read English studies, ICT minister who read French etc. Square pegs in round holes.

It is your type that is killing Nigeria. I rest my case.
Nope it's your type killing Nigeria. You don't understand the work of a minister but you make so much noise.

If studying economy and management in metallurgy makes you qualified to be a minister of power what about studying law with a specialisation in energy and environment?

ICT minister read French so what? Lots of software developers didn't study computer science or graduate from college so going by your logic, they would be terrible developers.

This is 2017, nobody cares what you studied in school anymore. It's what you can do.

And your brain tells you that a lay man can formulate the best policies right? Fashola is a politician and not a technocrat and the latter is always the best for the job. Think hard and deep before you reply me.
Fashola is a lawyer, had his own chamber before venturing into politics.

You've gone from "he's a lawyer to he's not a technocrat" which means you don't know what you are saying.

mars123:
It is only in Nigeria a lawyer/politician will be minister of works and energy
You are still saying this rubbish. The Russian minister for energy studied economics same as the Chinese so it's not only in Nigeria. The IMF president is a lawyer, the world Bank president is a doctor. Which back water college did you attend?

mars123:
. Then later you will be wondering why after spending over 20 billion dollars in the power sector we are still struggling with a mere 7k MW.
Has nothing to do with what you studied in college.

mars123:
Till tomorrow Barth Nnaji is the best power minister we've had, go and check his qualifications.
Please what is your criteria for judging? Before Barth, generation output was averagely around 3500MW, after Barth, average output is still the same. We crossed 5kMW under Fashola for the first time in this country.

Leadership has nothing to do with what you studied in school.

Nice argument. but what are those ministries compared to works, power and housing?? I am sure that if you check the qualifications of those individuals, they have one or two experience in those fields.

Again I assure you that Nigeria doesn't know anything about putting square pegs in square holes and that is one of the reasons we are backward. I rest my case.
The UK secretary for transport is the minister of works in Nigeria.
Before he became a member of a Parliament, he was an author (so you claim that he might have an experience in that field is wrong).

The work of a minister is policy formulation.

But come o, who puts a lawyer in charge of a ministry of works, power and housinghuh I don't care if you've been governor of the whole world before, you simply dont have the qualifications. The UK secretary for health studied Philosophy, Politics and Health, is the UK also a stone age country?
The UK minister of transport studied History.

Almost every country in the world has at least one secessionist group so there's a higher chance of a 3rd world war than this happening.

For Germany ---- Bavaria
For France ----French Basque and Northern Catalonia
For Russia --- Tatarstan, Chechenya, Dagestan
For China -- Tibet, Taiwan

Foreign Affairs › Re: Catalan Parliament Declares Independence From Spain by AZeD1(m): 4:56pm On Oct 27, 2017
malton:
Because the issue of separation is not just a problem for Spain. It far transcends Catalonia. The UK for instance, has had to deal with issues of secession from Northern Ireland, Wales, and now Scotland. Germany has her own with Bavaria. France has some struggles with Corsica and Brittany, while Flanders and Wallonia are threatening to pull Belgium apart. Italy nkor? She's facing or has faced same issues with Sicily, Lombardy, Veneto, and South Tyrol regions. Denmark has the same problems, as does Poland, Romania, Crotia and Czech Republic. The bureaucratic elites are all fighting the same struggles. So they understand where it pinches. Nothing brings two people together like a common struggle. They'd rather collude and deal with Catalonia than side with her.

About an hour ago, Donald Tusk announced on twitter that Spain is the EU's only interlocutor. So, which of the parties do you think they'd support?
This is what those IPOB members who shout "right to self determination" don't know. Any country that openly supports secession, will disintegrate under 5 years.
