Not that bad though.

Although some jobs (some bank roles, some front desk roles etc) do require it. In the real sense, there are as much bilingual jobs as usual one language jobs. You just have to search for that which suits you. You might also want to pick up a bit of french along the way (Dont be like me, I never even start french course sef).

If you are the type that don't shy away from all kinds of job, then you should be good.

Let me point out here just like our seniors have been saying, some jobs require certification ( So if you intend to continue with your line of work or switch to a job and if these require certification etc,) be kind enough to yourself to acquire them. It wont kill you but will help you in the long run.

Also, if you get a job (and perhaps it aint in your line of work or it is just to make body and soul meet until a better one comes), please do it with all your heart. Recommendations go a long way here from what I have seen so far and this helps you build your network.

For those just entering the work force, please save. The more you earn, the more you spend so don't deceive yourself into thinking that you'll start saving once you earn big money.

Have a savings habit also gives you options as you can quit your job when you want to and not have to worry about surviving.

As a minimum, you should have 3 months salary saved every 12 months.

Actually election boycott is useless. There is no minimum number of votes required and you know that folks contesting and their families would vote so a winner would be announced.

What IPOB should be doing is getting their members into positions to affect change.

The only way to get a referendum in Nigeria is by changing the Constitution or going to war.

PS: Don't mention U.N right to self determination because it's so so complicated.

Also remember that Catalonia has been asking for Independence for over 10 years and the have the backing of Barcelona, neither the EU or UN has done anything for Catalonia because there's no allowance for referendum in the Spanish Constitution.

You are no different from politicians that use lies and deceit to miss lead people.
These are not new appointments but a reshuffling of portfolios.

I'd say this is probably (keyword probably) Nigerian/African thing. If you've schooled or worked outside Africa then you'd know that people of the opposite sex not related actually live together and most of them become friends and sex is/was not involved.

Friendship with the opposite sex... Hmmn, i've never sn a guy who wanted to be bestie wit a gal from d onset. As the saying goes "na condition make crayfish bend", guy man toast babe no gree, so friendship wit no strings becomes some sort of consolation. "Anything can stil happen" they'd say.
Define the friendship if they want but whatever makes the 2 of them alone in a dark quite room or some secluded places redefines whatever definition was ho place. They chop and clean mouth and come out continuing to hide under the pretense of friendship when deep down their minds, they know the real truth.

This post is so so shallow I find it worrying.
People meet under different circumstances so saying all opposite sex "bestie" is due to a failed "ask out" is pretty dumb (no offense). Two personal examples
1) I had an extra year in uni, so inorder to graduate, I needed help. There was a lady who was one of the best in her set, so I had to meet her for help. That was the start of a beautiful friendship and nothing close to sex ever came up.
2) Another great female friend of mine who's late now was someone I met at the back of a plane. It was a long flight and I was restless, so I went to the back of the plane and met her there. We got talking and found out we were from the same state and had other things in common and boom boom the time we got off the plane, you'd think we had been friends for ages.

Don't limit life to binary values cos it isn't.

PS As you grow older, you'd meet at lot of people don't limit your chances in life because you believe a relationship with the opposite sex is only for sex (no pun intended)

The only reason we have poor power is pipeline vandalism by 'patriotic' militants.. GEJ built many gas power plants with up to 5000MW optimal output. Problem was the transmission lines could only take 3,000mw+. Fashola improved output to 6000mw+ and improved transmission to 5,000mw+.
