May God bless your new age, the book simplified Physics and make it homely ....I can remember reading and understanding four chapters in a day while in SS-1, that marks my life-long relationship with Physics.

The authour deserves national honour.....to those saying some other books like Abbott, Nelkon are better, it is true that Nelkon and Abbott are deeper but you will agree with me that the one that make it simpler allow more student to understand the subject with ease. Ofcourse, no brilliant student limits himself or herself to a textbook for better understanding of a subject. Carrying Abbott textbook to school anyday is enough a work combine with distance son of man have to cover trekking to school in those days.

Honestly, the case of private school tutors are pathetic and ditto for some proprietors of "small" schools. Let us try spare from what we have and help anyone close to us amomg the private school teachers. (1) Pray for your family with sincere mind, God can change bad situation to good one...specifically pray to God to improve your family provisions. 95% of the problem stated here is "poverty-induced" and remaining is management
(2) Pending the time sitaution improves, (i) re-examine the family expenses and look for how to cut down your spending eg. is your children school affordable or you are just struggling to meet up because of 'status', is your accommodation affordable or you are stressing to pay up...although your man should take lead on this but something must be done asap (ii) You MUST keep part of your salary for yourself at least 40,%, ypu must be smart enough to keep this secret and be desciplined enough not to touch it under false emergency
(3) Am sorry to say this, if massaging the man "ego" is what we give you peace and eventual success in your marital life, DO IT....ki adobale fun arara ko ni ki ama ga( prostrating for a dwarf will not turn you to one). With 6 children, let no one deceives you running away is the best option. Your man is just frustrated because of lack of money, you can help him out by working positively on his emotion
(4) Don't behave as if you are equal to him or better because your man is having COMPLEX already, help him the way you can by avoiding arguements with him till he grow over his complex
(5) Learn)Engage in a vocation that suits your lifestyle, it will give you less time for arguement and it may also fetch you extra coin

Good day fellow Nairalander.Why is Toyota Avalon less popular than Corolla/Camry? I need to be open that what informed my question is need for me to get a good Toyota car that falls within 2003 and 2006/ a budget of 1.1m to 1.3m. It has to be Tokunbo and preferrably automatic. I found out good Toyota car with nice interiors I find are mostly Toyota Avalon. Is there any issue with Avalon and why it is not common like Corolla and Camry of the same age? Am critical of this because common vehicle suggests available auto technicians(mechanics) who have good knowledge of such vehicle. Gurus in the house should contribute and anybody that has used Avalon should please contribute. I don't want marketers because I won't be ready till end of first quarter of 2020. (Imagine!I have never had the name before now) Title is "Do The Right Thing", I wonder while the youths and all music lovers were not chorusing it since then instead they prefer trash called music from likes of Wizkid and Davido....

I have never celebrate any for self but remembering doing for my first son when he clocked one year partly due to my wife insistence. Honestly, I have no reservation for those that do it for young ones but cannot understand why adults celebrating without influencing society positively through their contributions to humanity. My point is that we should be celebrating our contributions to the society/humanity and not just our years because truly when we add years in terms of new age, we are actually nearing our graves!

Celebrating birthday appears wasteful for me except it is done for young ones to make them happy or people who have cross age of 75 years to celebrate their achievements

It amuses me when we congratulate each other for our birthdays, yes I used the word we-because even for somebody like me that does not believe in it intrinsically, the society has configured most of us to engage in this norm in order not to be view as an "adversary" of the "celebrant" but crossing line of four decades brought reality closer to me once again.

In sincerity, I believe if birthday must be done at all, it should be for those below twenty years.
I believe anything after two decades on earth, once should be celebrating achievements and not just years of living. And when I say achievements, I do not mean houses, cars or other material stuffs…we should be celebrating inventions, books and our contributions toward uplifting the standard of living of people around us and the world in general.

Example of what I mean is the celebration by Pastor Fola Oyediran, a friend of mine, known as Amos koko in our ICA days , that recently marked his 40th birthday with 40 BOOKS, yes with 40 motivational/spiritual books!

So when next is your birthday, please celebrate something not just your years!
